Nightjar Song

My all-time favourite bird. Everything about these elusive species is fascinating. The sound, their behaviour, their awesome camouflage. Most of all for me though is their ability to succeed off of our destruction. What would appear as a devastating loss of habitat and woodland, for them is an opportunity to move in, as sticks and twigs left on the ground make perfect camouflage.
