The best / most interesting thing about this arc and all the Vader related content is... Palpatine is aware of all Vader's machinations, to some degree..But doesn't even care.. 😂..Palpatine is like a tide on Vader's sand castle.. Vader builds. Palpatine destroys... and spanks Vader.. Rinse and repeat... I get it is kinda what the Sith do.. but it's like Wil E Coyote trying to catch the Road Runner... smh..
Y'all crazy in he comments. This comic run is the greatest thing in Star wars right now. I'm glued and can't wait to see what happens next. Yea we know the ending but how we got there the details is what this comic gives excellent job 💪🏾
@@GazingTrandoshanthe 2017? Yeah I lived those. Charles is great. He has the best books from the high republic. He wrote marchion RO down to perfection
I really can't wait to see more canon media: merch, toys, books, etc. showing luke's yellow blade. We need more canon characters with different coloured weapon blades
So glad to see they're still somehow trying to justify Episode 9 even though Palpatine has no reason for Death Star 2 with supposedly his planet killer ships ready few months before Episode 6.
Are you re3arded? Having a story that connects to 9 isn't justifying anything. I guess Clone Wars was made to justify the dogshit writing of the prequels by following your logic. Also the Xystons were never ready at this point in time dumb dumb.
Im really excited to see where the comics go come after this run ends soon, I love vader but yea you can tell a lot of the writers are kinda running on fumes , its still fun though and vaders entire story since ep3 to 6 has been great
Like that the craziest thing he ever did. Besides, pitting them against each other and letting the winner be his apprentice seems like a plausible goal. And with everything Luke did against the Empire, letting him go is a bad idea. Either Luke dies or he joins the Dark Side, either way, Luke stops being a problem.
The writers are so inconsistent. On one hand they have Vader try to DECAPITATE Luke, not even just KILL him but BEHEAD him…which makes you think the writers have never seen RoTJ (or even ESB) but then they have Vader going after Luke-purely on Palpatine’s BLESSING rather than his own will-after forgetting him to discover the secrets the Emperor just kinda…left him to find, which makes you realize the writers HAVE seen the movies, and rely TOO MUCH on the wrong ones but you realize that they have Vader secretly plotting against Palpatine like in ESB, AND obeying him beyond just putting on a front, like in RoTJ, AT THE SAME TIME?? NONE OF THIS MAKES SENSE
@@harrambou9468 You need to follow along brother. Best advice is begin from the beginning and go back to this point. All of it makes sense and is a clear path in brilliant story. It all began with Vader learning the truth of padme and Luke...which led to his defeat by sidious...which led to his climb up from death to challenge sidious....to him learning the existence of exegol, the mountain of kyber and the ultimate power of sidious....to him accepting the true role of the sith, to overcome the master and seize all forms of power ..to then over all these comics gaining followers, power, relics, and knowledge....to take this ultimate power and defeat sidious once and for all. Throughout the story Vader is challenged by sabe who reminds him of padme, by icho with his mixed loyalties, the droid scourge, the umbarian with her own aspirations, Luke, the crimson dawn, and the empire itself. Finally, here we are. Overcoming all obstacles, trials, tribulations Vader is in the cusp of ultimate victory.
Nice to see Warba again and Luke finally meeting Sabe was pretty sick as well.
I miss sabe
Yeah it’s the only part of this that makes any sense
Not really
I wonder if Sabé will tell Luke about Padme
100%

the WORST part is that Vader is aware of everything to come…
and tbh everything to come even happening at all is bad

Nice ending

Nah the main run is much better. This run has cool things but it’s got so many contradictions
This comic run is not bad, but not great... either. I'd say average.
@@ChrisPTY507 Ye its just regular clone war arc to me , main one is hella good, charles soule knows how to keep it interesting

Uhm, I'm almost pretty sure that the fleet was still in its early construction phase at this point tough.
@@Lr.Laecro.Lirus3445 the fact that he did that at all, though…that’s stupid enough

You really asking, why a power hungry, sith lord, would want more ways to exert his power?
I’m still wondering how palpatine will control vader vader seems to be more powerful than palpatine at this point

This doesn't feel right. Palpatine shouldn't encourage Vader to find Luke knowing Vader wants to use Luke to betray him.

Didnt Palps plan to turn luke to replace vader?
Ahhhh, it really doesn't feel like the 1-10 ones , it just keeps becoming worse
