In Fleming's Bond novels, Bond didn't wear shirts...he wore Sea Island brand shirts. He didn't carry a small, subcompact pistol...he carried a Walther PPK. He didn't drive a fast, sleek sports car...he drove an Aston Martin DB5. I loved Fleming's attention to gear detail. Someday I'm going to own a Winkler axe thanks to James Reese. That's fun to me. Keep up the great work Jack.
I recently got one. It’s the best piece of gear I’ve owned.
@@joefox2875 Thanks Joe. If I may ask, what did you get?
@@JACathcart5181 The full size maple tribal. No Sayoc.
I'll never understand the people who complain that military action thrillers are 'too violent' or that there's 'too much gear talk'. This isn't anything new. Authors from Vince Flynn to Brad Thor to Tom Clancy have always had visceral, violent, and technical details. It's how the whole techno-thriller genre came out.
Anyway, keep up the great work, Jack. Thanks for being an inspiration to an indie author like myself. Excited for 'In The Blood'!
I LOVE the end of year book/authors/guest summaries! Thanks for all you do Jack! My TBR grows every time I watch your videos. Ps. I vote that David Goggins be one of your guests in 2022.
Jeff Gonzales is a very good instructor. Definitely knows his stuff and how to teach it. Highly recommend his classes.
Hey Jack! For what it's worth, I LOVE all 4 books. The Devil's Hand left me hungering for the next book! My wife just started the Terminal List and can't put it down! I could go into a long list of things I love about the books, the stories, and the writing, but instead, I'll just say, please keep them coming!
I want to know what is coming next after this next release! I hope Jack keeps writing! Loving these stories and don’t want them to end!
My Dad was Army he turned me onto Authors like David Morrell. I'm reminded of his books when I read your work. Keep it up and I'll keep reading them!
I’ve got an immense amount of respect for you sir and you’re a true American hero. I can’t stand hearing the negative reviews bashing freedom. I love the gear talk too gimme more!
THANK YOU! For sharing these book lists and the discussions with such interesting guests.
Fantastic job. I enjoy your podcasts and books. My TBR pike is growing into a skyscraper from all the titles you share.
I enjoy your books also. I plan to read Devil’s Hand in April and then In the Blood in May. Keep up the good work and look forward to more of your podcasts and books.
Awesome podcasts, each and every one. Wish i had more time to get through all the reading lists. Keep up the great work!
Awesome year Jack! Looking forward to year 2022!
Enjoyed your interviews with Mark Owen and that gave me the rest of the story of why those movies and tv shows came out later about SEALS. I have read the Terminal List and is currently on True Believer. Look forward to reading the rest of your series of books and watch the Terminal List episodes when they come out. Great Job Jack !
I appreciate you, G/Jack.
Even though you’re doing it with a smile, addressing those negative reviews isn’t too much of a good look.
Those negative reviews don’t even need addressing, unless you plan on taking their constructive criticism into your own BDA.
Your work speaks for itself!
Jack, when you picked up that Smith Corona clipper typewriter it reminded me of a book that Ken Follett wrote titled Night Over Water. Impatiently waiting for In The Blood.
Thank you
I guess you could have a protagonist that uses pepper spray and bike locks for weapons. Love your stories and writing style. Keep them coming.
😂😂😂👍
Or skateboards, cement shakes, bricks…
Your novels are great, I enjoy all of the technical detail. The political opinions of James Reece give him depth as a character. It is nice to have those views in a book as an escape from the constant far left ideologies frequently being presented as the only way to live or think.
I read Trejo and also read Danny’s cookbook for Trejo’s Tacos. I made wings from a recipe in his Trejo’s Tacos book and they turned out delicious.
Love the episodes and your non ego interviews! All the power to you! PLEASE INVITE CHRISTIAN Craighead, The SAS man who saved so many lives at the Nairobi attack in 19
Do you have a preference for a Pappy Bowington book, that you would recommend
I must be extremely boring because not only the Jack Carr books are my favorites but I also happen to love all the details and descriptions.
What do you even call a book like this?
"You call it a #1 New York Times Best Seller" Jack Carr
Ha!! Awesome!!!
Thanks for reading your reviews(Negative), it was a HOOT! I couldn't stop laughing. Your comments were wicked smart.
That Revolver is a Manuhrin. French made and one of the two or three finest revolvers made. Smith and Wesson cannot produce anything like the Manuhrin even in their custom shop. Perhaps the only revolver more finely hand assembled is the German Korth.
Best part of the month!
Right on man, hey. by any chance would you PLEASE add more politics to your political thrillers? Thanks! Love the books, love the reading list. On my second pass of "the great game". Great book and great recommendation. Cheers!
Even if you don’t agree with the politics you have to enjoy the adventure and if you don’t, then why pick these books up at all? I personally love the books and the podcast. May God continue to bless you.
Hahahah. I didn’t think I would enjoy the negative reviews section as much as I did. 😂😂 its just like my mom said “ opinions are like assholes. Everyone has them, and they all stink!” 😂
Great content
I love hearing the bad reviews and the fact that you can laugh at them.
Meagan is awesome! I have one of her machines and two on the way to her for restoration.
Rmj also makes some cool blades and tomahawks
I care which knife Reese uses. LOL. Love your reviews of your reviews. Imagine those who don't want to read abt politics reading political thrillers. Or being disturbed by gear, guns, and death by military characters in same book.
It’s a book that needs to be written
…take great pride in a negative review. It’s the foundation of our country. To have an opinion and the ability to have free expression is an American trait.
That revolver is $3600! I already have the best revolver ever made.
"Why is pro freedom looked at as anti Democrat" A very good question indeed. LOL
A character who loves freedom, and supports the 2nd amendment, is a nice departure from the woke BS in 90% of novels. Those who say they don't' want politics in their books, really do want politics. They just don't recognize that they are so indoctrinated into the woke narrative, that they don't even realize it when their books are full of leftist politics.
I love your books. I love the politics of James Reece. These books are the only books I can find that has a character that closely resembles my own political views. Thanks Jack!
Have you ever read the book the mud soldiers the Wrote in by Westmoreland do me a favor read the third chapter the legacy and then if you don’t mind try to get back with me I’m sure you can find me if you’re interested and wanna know more
"I think you call it a NYT Best Seller"...mic drop.
No 1 best seller

Don't let the nattering nabobs of negativism get you down.
Yes, who would ever buy a political/military thriller with a conservative lean (sarcasm). It is almost like they have never heard of Tom Clancy or something. I mean really, who wants details in their books that paint a mental picture of the scenes the author intends (sarcasm again). If they don't like your book, I am sure Dr Suess or Shell Silverstein have something up their alley.
Hey Jack I will speak for the Woke idiots, for the love of God please don't waist all those sheets of paper! Your only redemption would be to recycle them! Thanks for what you do! :)
Why is pro freedom is anti democrat? Enquiring minds want to know!!!
Jack your awesome man but at this point you don’t get a pass Lol PLEASE do anything other than what your doing when “showing” the products, we can’t see a damn thing!! 🤷♂️ do it exactly as you are but include a tabletop view of the item, take pics before hand and insert em!! Something man lol I wanna see this stuff and the dot involved, I’m sure others do too?? If not chime in people and he’ll know to ignore this haha
