@@wntr9966 Nothing except Akko saying they were "hand lubed". Lubing yourself will still be better. KTT manufactures Akko switches in case you didn't know, so they just silent branded their wine red to Akko. 70 ktt wine reds are $7 and 70 akko wine reds are $34 lmao.

Well if you really want an expensive and modified keyboard you can just look for yourself which you like best. But if you plan on buying a stock keyboard online I would go for red switches because you don't have a big variety of switches you can choose from.

I think it’s really about trying out new switches and seeing what u like best, it’s all about preference imo, one opinion can be truly different than yours

Well what type of switch? Linear or tactile? Tactile is usually good for typing. Tactile: Boba U4ts. Linear: Ink black V2s, JWK Epsilon, NK creams, Alpacas, Boba LT.
Budget:
Tactile: JWK T1s, Tecsee Purple
Linear(a crap ton): gat milky yellows, JWK ultimate blacks, KTT strawberry,
***I've only tried like 3 tactile switches (JWK prince which is too sharp, Boba u4t has the right amount of tactility, and T1s which I actually find really good for the price). Also what spring weight do you like

I mean honestly there is no difference. It really just comes down to what you prefer. Do you like a heavy switch or do you like the fast actuation points that most “gamers” would like. Do you like a 60% board because of the space you get on your desk.. or can you not live without a full-size keyboard.. it’s really just whatever you like

Well the silvers activation force is really high for “gaming” and then the silvers have a box stem and the wine reds have the normal mx stem

The switches don't automatically sound like that. He put some foam inside the keyboard to get rid of the hollow sound. Don't let this video fool you.

it's a custom board. nobody is fooling anybody. if you're making a custom board, you put foam in it. simple as that😂 if you're getting these switches you're more than likely building a new board😂
