I think the message to Sara to kill the boy isn't referring to Ethan nor The Boy in White. It's referring to Victor, who was the boy left alive after the last massacre. Victor has to die for this to come to an end. 😢
We know there are tunnels and underground rooms in this town, and if you watch the episode where young Victor is coming out of that shed (same one Jade showed Kenny), it looks like he's coming out of hiding. Which makes me wonder, why was he hiding, and how did he know to stay hidden till the morning? Also, what event lead to everyone in the town getting killed but him being spared?
Hey good brutha E Man. I meant to mention something about Martin and why I theorize why the government is involved. Boyd, Abbey, and Martin are all ex military. Abbey and Martin were in the Marines. Martin I think is the Fromville P.O.W., that was sent into the void years ago with a regimen of Marines to try and rescue the previous towns people, but was captured and tortured and is the only surviving Marine from his regimen. That's why Martin brought up Abbey to Boyd, cause Martin is still in contact with the government eventhough he's been captured. The government helped Boyd find the cattle for food and the Talisman for protection due to him scouting the perimeter of the woods. I also think Abbey figured out how to escape by shooting the towns people, freeing them from the Fromville void. Then Boyd mistook her as going crazy as Abbey tries to free their son Ellis by shooting him. Think about the situation with Tabitha and the boy in white pushing her out the window of the lighthouse after he apologized to her, and we both know that Tabitha shouldn't have survived her fall from the lighthouse window. To be killed by other means other than being killed by the night creatures is a way to escape I think. The Night Creatures are the Fromville environments defense mechanism against Martin and his regimen of Marines going into the void to rescue the previous towns people, but to no avail of course. I also think that's how the Fromville void eats or consumes the towns peoples hopes and fears, through the Night creatures digging out the towns peoples guts or whatever they do with their innards.
Neither Jade nor Elgin saw the fallen tree or crows. Why the Voices told Sarah to cut out Toby's tongue and frame the monsters for his death is the biggest question of season one.
E-Man.....the people in Lost weren't dead the whole time. I don’t have any idea how people arrived at that conclusion. It is explained in the last few minutes of the show everything that happened on the island actually happened. They all died at different times, and they were all at the church at the end to go into heaven, paradise, or what ever kind of afterlife it was. Great show. I would love to see you recap it. If you like From, you would most likely enjoy Lost.
Be in six episodes in to season 3. I don't understand why most TH-camrs are showing nothing but absolute hate for Jim and I don't understand it. I heard one person say something about privilege and I'm like oh give me a break Jim's doing the best he can for his family. Everybody handles things differently. Privilege has nothing to do with anything
Bro, give the show LOST a chance. Everyone who said they were dead the entire time clearly didn't get it. I think someone like you would really enjoy it because your smart and would actually understand it. Back when it released you couldn't binge it unless you owned the DVDs so its understandable why people got confused. I thought they were dead for years until I re-watched it and now its one of my favorite shows of all time. You'll laugh, you'll cry, and you'll be happy that you listened to me. lol Harold Perrineau was great in that show as well.
You’re a great story teller! Thank you for the video. Cant wait for season 3! Also starting to think now Toby and jade didn’t see the tree, and that’s why he had to die. And have his tongue took out so he couldn’t tell Sara they didn’t see the tree etc? You said he swerved before he saw the RV maybe he seen someone something in the road? Maybe the BIW? I hope these are answered by season 3.
You mentioned the "Tree and Crows". I believe it is a natural barrier within the Town/Forest space. One thing someone on reddit pointed out is, in the intro to S1E1 you see them pass railroads twice. The first time looks normal but the second time the electrical wires / towers / and transformers are missing.
I almost forgot how delightfully confused I was by this show. Thank you for your dedication to the cause. Dumb Kevin & Creature Feature Girlfriend...he dead 🤣
The ironic thing is, the show is filmed in canada, most of the actors are canadian, and all the extras are canadian. But there isnt a single canadian character on the show. Also, i know chloe van landshoot (christi) personally. Shes a friend of a friend and Ive hung out with her a handfull of times. Shes incredibly talented, and so down to earth. Alot of celebrities have an arrogance about them but shes the complete opposite of that. Shes genuinely one of the nicest people ive met.
This show has tons of similarities to Lost and Boyd plays a character called Michael in Lost funny enough lol. But Lost gets super good especially towards the end and there's not many TH-camrs covering it🤔 if you haven't seen Lost definitely check it out and maybe make some videos🤔 oh and people heal faster on the island just like they do in From lol.
Yeah, it _definitely_ feels like horror Lost 😆 Having watched Lost twice now though (and liking it the second time around) the biggest thing I've been asking the whole time is, "They've got to all have something in common. They're asking the wrong questions. The correct question is, 'why us?' What's the connecting factor?" My theory is something grief related...but I guess we'll see. I just finished season 1 and s2e1 (it's 1am, I've got to stop lol)
I just found you on TH-cam and have been bingeing your From Reviews….. I am enjoying your theories and opinions. I love From and I am very happy that I have found a community of others that feel the same way❣️🥰
My brother E Mizzan… what an incredible video… absolutely the most intricate breakdown of FROM I’ve ever seen. (And it was the whole season 😁) I would like to answer a few of the “what do you think” questions but I need to get a composition notebook 📓, rewatch the vid, and jot down my thoughts as we go✍🏽. Looking forward to the season 2 recap ( 😂 dam my bad, you just put this one out 🤦🏽♂️) See you next week after the season 3 kick off!! ✌🏽
And maybe the boy in white only is able to be seen by small children and the person who is suppose to save the children. Because if you rember victor was happy to hear that the boy in white was still around when Ethan told him he saw him. So maybe victor was not seeing the boy in white for a while because he grew up. Now that him and Ethan are close he is able to see him again. 🤷🏽♀️
It's worth noting that the monsters knew in advance that Frank didn't have a Talisman in the box with him. There was no pretense of pretending to be human or talking- they KNEW.
I wonder if the girl with the glass shards is at the Colony house when they put the tower on the roof and the storm came and the glass flew into the woman’s face and eye. Or is it Fatima or Tillie when she was getting her tarot card read and the bird broke through the glass window.
I'm with you on Julie and I'm 24, no kids. 1. I wouldn't join the commune, no matter how much fun it looks 2. If I had a daughter like Julie, i wouldn't give her the option to go to the commune.
THANK YOU for the comment on julie and the colony house. Like people are being eaten and she wants to be a big adult. Id crawl back to my parents for support if people were being EATEN. PEOPLE ARE BEING EATEN THIS ISNT TIME FOR A JUMP AT ADULTHOOD. WHY WOULD YOU WANNA BE AN ALONE ADULT IN A WORLD WHERE PEOPLE ARE BEING E. A. T. E. N.
Also, the time working weird with Ethan healing has made me question about how old Victor actually is. He looks really aged but there are years in the lighthouse. So if 1983(I think) was the newest year then it makes more sense his age. So the time part really bothers me because there is stuff to show there may be issues with time but enough to show maybe there isnt and its just healing.
They are vampires I keep saying it I swear I feel like they are vampires. They have the same similarities as the first ever vampires long claws ugly faces slow moving etc. also there must have been a time where people were able to leave in and out the town because there is a post office so someone was delivering the mail and the post office looks like the most recent build in that town plus there was a motel so there must have been as time when people could leave. Maybe an opening underground under the town came about and that is when the town started becoming scary.
Does anyone have a recommendation for English speakers to understand the dialogue between Kenny and his mother? It's pretty frustrating that they don't get captions when speaking Cantonese. I feel like I missed out on potentially important information.
I don't think the voice is related to the creatures. The whole reason the hole caved in was to protect them from the catacombs. Jim didn't listen. The voice is basically the anti-hero imo. Not necessarily good but basically the Ben Linus proxy imo. Not the good guy, but legit trying to protect against the true danger. Might already be answered by now, but I only just finished ep. 1 of season 2 lol
I'm not a parent, but it makes sense why Julie would rather live at the Colony House when her parents are deceiving her and lying behind her back, I think it's the most natural human instinct not to trust insincere people
Except that they weren't dead the whole time in Lost, just like they're not dead the whole time in From. Just like the priest/pastor said, they were caught in the town and loop before the vehicle ever crashed. The bus didn't crash either, and Elgen has clearly been to/knows about the town. The only episode where they were dead in Lost, is the final episode.
In Lost they were not dead the whole time. It’s a conclusion made by people who didn’t understand the ending back when the finale aired in 2010, and then spread by people who just repeat that it’s what happened.. watch the show!! Way better than From imo .. sorry as a hardcore Lost fan, I will always be compelled to correct this mistake lol
Kristi might have crossed the line a few times with Kenny, but women CAN talk to men and have men friends without there being anything else going on, ya know
@@EmansReviewsEthan had a seizure when the monsters appeared, I’m assuming they appeared at colony house at the same time. The boy even looked like a future Ethan. Ethan said he saw the lake of tears etc but that was after he went to sleep not after the seizure.
I know it might sound like a dumb question but…how do these people pay they bills ?! How do they receive deliveries ? Supplies for their stores/bars, etc ? If everyone who steps in town is stuck there, how does the bar manage to get more alcohol delivered ?! Did the show start like 2 weeks into this new phenomenon ? Because they seemed well adjusted (they got protocols and amulets and what not, so it’s been a while…) How come the government don’t know ? P.S I’m watching this because I’m not about to subscribe to a new streaming service for this. I don’t care how good it is.
To answer your first question, there aren’t any electrical wires (questionably) To answer your second question, the people of the town grow their food and they have animals for milk, eggs, cheese. To answer your third question, buoyed found the talisman and animals by adventuring the village woods. They also made they own alcohol with supplies they grew and/or found
You would actually need to watch in order to get the answers. Otherwise there really is nothing we can say. It’s like explaining color to an extremely blind person who’s been blind since birth.
Sara in my opinion came from a type of religious cultish place. She came from Lancaster PA where there are Amish and Mennonite people . She can sew and cook most girls her age can’t sew a button She’s sent to mend by Donna. Her bro is taking care of animals he must have some type of knowledge to do this. She either had a vicious Father or husband or even a mom. She’s not crazy she’s mentally ill. Her bro came and got her to escape. He may have left earlier from whatever situation they were both in.
I love the recap!! I think Victor had "been allowed" to survive all this time protected by the town.
protected? more like being manipulated and held hostage by the town
I think the message to Sara to kill the boy isn't referring to Ethan nor The Boy in White. It's referring to Victor, who was the boy left alive after the last massacre. Victor has to die for this to come to an end. 😢
🤔
but victor was nowhere near the diner when the message appeared on her arm.
We know there are tunnels and underground rooms in this town, and if you watch the episode where young Victor is coming out of that shed (same one Jade showed Kenny), it looks like he's coming out of hiding. Great and engaging video! You had me from the first minute. Until I have time, going to watch the series through you!
You tell very good stories.
Thank you for watching! 🙏🏿

Yooooo. U are funny af and relatable. From is my #1 show. Love ur thoughts views and theories. Looking forward to more videos 💯
Nice recap! 🎉
This was a bomb ass recap Eman! Thanks for putting in the work
Great breakdown, valid points were made.
It's worth noting that the monsters knew in advance that Frank didn't have a Talisman in the box with him.
There was no pretense of pretending to be human or talking- they KNEW.

“I’ve never watched lost” “man of faith” 😢😢😢😢
It's a snow globe 🔮 not a crystal ball
It's a terrarium. Victor drew a picture of it with the monster tunnels and everything.
Frank didn’t want the talisman, Boyd already offered him that and the hut outside town.
Victor's lunchbox legs look like the roots of that tree.
Time moves differently on the forest that’s why the trees keep moving
I don’t think that they are talking about Ethan, when they say kill the boy..
Maybe the lunch box was Tabitha's ticket to Victor's house
Does anyone have a recommendation for English speakers to understand the dialogue between Kenny and his mother?

it would be so funny if the creators of Lost just kept releasing shows where the characters were dead the whole time
A great connected universe 😅
Except that they weren't dead the whole time in Lost, just like they're not dead the whole time in From. Could it be possible that when the entities told Sara to kill the boy they meant “Dumb Dumb Kevin” because they knew he was going to let her in??
I don’t think Frank was responsible for the murder of his family. Megan, was responsible for her and her mother’s death.
In Lost they were not dead the whole time. It’s a conclusion made by people who didn’t understand the ending back when the finale aired in 2010, and then spread by people who just repeat that it’s what happened.. watch the show!! I have a question how did Victor live in those tunnels all this time
Kristi might have crossed the line a few times with Kenny, but women CAN talk to men and have men friends without there being anything else going on, ya know
Come on man... Dont be the kettle calling the pot on the pot calling the kettle
please watch Lost..
Was Ethan the monster that spoke to Julie?? Hmmmm
🤔
@@EmansReviewsEthan had a seizure when the monsters appeared, I’m assuming they appeared at colony house at the same time. The boy even looked like a future Ethan. Ethan said he saw the lake of tears etc but that was after he went to sleep not after the seizure.
