- Not the project I was expecting! A hazardous discovery required a change of plans, and so it was this sweet little dresser's turn...come with me as I try to rescue this nearly antique chest of drawers. I'll need to deal with delicately thin veneers, hot orange drawers, and lead paint accents...but with a little help from a young local artist, this sweet antique may find another chapter in the 21st century...

Awe, what a sweet episode. I got teary-eyed when your daughter was painting and you talked about the full circle of her and the original artist being connected. Just lovely how you take the history into account in your process. Very nice result and I love the way you measured the drawer paper on the outside of the drawer so you weren't struggling with the inside walls. Such a simple solution and I'm definitely going to use that tip!
Beautiful recovery and your daughter did a fantastic job! I think you should tackle the bride and show us all how to safely strip lead paint. I would be interested in your outfit for that one.

That absolutely melted my heart when you said it was your daughter painting. I felt that it’s was a community 100 years ago everybody would chip in and do something and we need to do more of that for us so it was very moving and it is very beautiful
