- This one had missed its calling for sure...when I saw this unique, four-drawer dresser being sold for $20 on Facebook Marketplace, I knew immediately I had to indulge myself! With a scalloped overlapping top drawer, and what I hoped was real carved wood trim, it seemed clear to me this chest was as sweet as candy.
Join me as I take this dingy, dated, and dark little chest to a modern version of PINK! With everything from chipped veneer repair, to wood bleach, to stenciling, this makeover has just about all!

When you put that cute little white line on the top drawer I am immediately started saying out loud that I wanted you to use four small round gold button knobs two on each side vertically so that the entire thing would look like those sailor suits style high waisted pants to make every girl look like she's in a musical.
Andy, your design genius continues to grow exponentially. I've always admired your meticulous execution, but increasingly it's your vision that bowls me over. You deserve to be designing widely at real, not fabled, fees.

Your alter ego is even worse than mine, as the opening shows. You handled it well, and got a lovely piece of furniture in the bargain. All that work was probably more work than an hour in the gym.

This was just the perfect piece done in the perfect way for that soft shade of pink! The paper in the drawers is beautiful and yes, it is called a wallpaper smoother. Most important lesson learned from this video: ALWAYS check the inside of your mask before you put it on!🌸

Oh no!! The scary lady had me the second the chocolate cake came out of her purse! I need me a purse like that! And the "cake buffet" came out beautifully. When we were kids, oh so long ago...my mom painted the main living area in a beige with pink undertones. It was beautiful and everyone loved it.
