MICHELLE!!!!!! This is something really new to me I think Lisa Marie is awesome always have done but I have never seen this performance. There are so many of her dad's stage mannerisms in that song especially at the start. There she was signing something from the stage then she whipped that microphone cord just like Elvis did before telling the audience that if she messes up she will just start over again just like Elvis did lol. Then she really got into it and just rocked the song to the ground It looks like her ex husband was playing guitar on this one so it must have been a while ago as we all know what a stand up guy he turned out to be right... That girl sure has had some major Heartache in her life I hope she can truly find happiness. I love this and I love Lisa Marie. I think she is a fabulous songwriter, musician and singer. I love her style…she really doesn’t get the recognition she deserves as a musician and as a human being. Jac was so lucky to see her wasn’t she. The bit where Lisa plays the drums at the end always reminds me of her Daddy at the end of the I’ll Be Back track. We had a ball watching all those videos didn’t we…..cannot wait for the next time 😁❤

The first thing that struck me Michelle, how she willingly gave her time and autograph to her fans, if her daddy taught her anything it was to be kind, gracious and respectful . Now on to the performance, wow that first note, boy can she rock and belt out a song, her daddy would have loved this, the drums at the end, she appears to have her daddys mischevious and playful streak, bless her. The arrangement was a very similar to what Elvis,s studio musicians would have provided, workng alongside and complimenting her style every step of the way. Loved the way she was determined to get it right or start again, now where have we heard that before, a chip off the ole block right there, I can hear her daddy's infectious laughter as I type. 😂 As a song writer she draws on her life, incorporating, angst,saddness and pain and hurt in equal quanties. To her as a little girl growing up Elvis was simply her daddy, she had no real grasp or context of the complexities that not only encompassed her daddy's life but that of hers and her moms too. As a grown woman, she understands the gravitas of it all, and this song is her explanation of it all as she sees it now. The lyrics though heartbreaking and profound , she delivers with a childlike sincerity, her daddy would have been so proud of her of becoming her own person. I've heard the track many times, Lisa has a voice that is captivating, its raw and unashamedly honest, does she sound like her daddy, not at all, I would image that was a conscious decision, it would have been yet another stick to beat herself with. Elvis did Elvis, Lisa does Lisa, and good on her, she inherited her daddy's looks , but she developed her own talent, for which she is NOT given enough credit in my opinion. A little girl who lost her father way too soon, and a father who never got to see that little girl become the woman, the mother and talented artist she became. Lisa herself as we know enduring many difficult, sad and heartbreaking events in her own life , none more than when losing her beloved son Ben. Is it true that Lisa can no more persue her singing career? I just hope and pray she finds some peace and stability in her own life and takes comfort from her daughter's and loved ones, I'm certain her daddy will always watch over her and his beautiful granddaghters from above,and that he and Ben will be will be catching up on the years they missed out on being together also. Thanks for this Michele, as long Lisa knows she was loved by her daddy, and I'm certain she does.

When you consider Lisa`s life right from the start it`s been a rocky road for her, some of her own making but having the Presley name is a lot to live up too. She has stepped into the spotlight with some great music and with a style of her own this song is my second favorite by her, Lights Out is my favorite. We know she cannot deny her heritage but her passion, songwriting and musical ability are hers alone and she deserves so much credit for that. Great reaction as always Michelle well done.

Have got all of Lisa's albums and do like some of her songs although some are a bit "dark" for me. Wonder if she will ever tour again or write/record more music - she obviously is talented being able to play many instruments but so did Elvis. I assume her ex-husband Michael has left the band but her other ex-husband Danny also played in her band is living in her house but not sure if they are together again as a family as obviously he has been through the sad loss of his son as well. Elvis never did duets except once with Charlie Hodge. If he wanted a duet, there were plenty great singers at his time.He never did duets. The other singers ruin his songs.

I'm not sure if the Elvis fans will accept my honest opinion if it's not all that positive, but here it is anyway. I tried to like Lisa's music, but I really just don't like her style of music, nor her style of singing because I can hardly understand what she is saying when she sings. I also don't think she has that great of a voice quite frankly, or much stage presence. And I'm not saying this to be mean, but even though I am a huge fan of Elvis, I cannot pretend to like her music just because she's his daughter. Some people say that her music never got the recognition it deserved because of her father, but sometimes it's the opposite. Like myself, I tried to like her because of who her father was, but if her dad wasn't Elvis, I probably would never have given her music a listen to more than once. I feel bad for even saying this because I love Elvis, and I know Lisa was his world, so I want to respect her. And I do respect her as a person, and I'm glad a lot of you like her music, but this was my own personal honest opinion of her as a musical artist, which might not be very popular.

Love the show and you are wonderful but I'm an elvis fan. This will sound terrible but I have no interest in Lisa. Her father was unique. A one off and a music and culture icon.. Lisa made it because of her name. There are better singers than Lisa. Elvis stands alone.. just my opinion.
Lisa seems like a nice lady & does a good job of helping run Graceland BUT she doesn't sing well. No disrespect intended, but I think the reason she did so many of those duets is because her own career is lacking.

I love this and I love Lisa Marie. I think she is a fabulous songwriter, musician and singer. I love her style…she really doesn’t get the recognition she deserves as a musician and as a human being. Jac was so lucky to see her wasn’t she. The bit where Lisa plays the drums at the end always reminds me of her Daddy at the end of the I’ll Be Back track. The first thing that struck me Michelle, how she willingly gave her time and autograph to her fans, if her daddy taught her anything it was to be kind, gracious and respectful .
Now on to the performance, wow that first note, boy can she rock and belt out a song, her daddy would have loved this, the drums at the end, she appears to have her daddys mischevious and playful streak, bless her.
The arrangement was a very similar to what Elvis,s studio musicians would have provided, workng alongside and complimenting her style every step of the way. Loved the way she was determined to get it right or start again, now where have we heard that before, a chip off the ole block right there, I can hear her daddy's infectious laughter as I type. 😂
As a song writer she draws on her life, incorporating, angst,saddness and pain and hurt in equal quanties. To her as a little girl growing up Elvis was simply her daddy, she had no real grasp or context of the complexities that not only encompassed her daddy's life but that of hers and her moms too. As a grown woman, she understands the gravitas of it all, and this song is her explanation of it all as she sees it now. The lyrics though heartbreaking and profound , she delivers with a childlike sincerity, her daddy would have been so proud of her of becoming her own person.
I've heard the track many times, Lisa has a voice that is captivating, its raw and unashamedly honest, does she sound like her daddy, not at all, I would image that was a conscious decision, it would have been yet another stick to beat herself with. Elvis did Elvis, Lisa does Lisa, and good on her, she inherited her daddy's looks , but she developed her own talent, for which she is NOT given enough credit in my opinion.
A little girl who lost her father way too soon, and a father who never got to see that little girl become the woman, the mother and talented artist she became.
Lisa herself as we know enduring many difficult, sad and heartbreaking events in her own life , none more than when losing her beloved son Ben.
Is it true that Lisa can no more persue her singing career? I just hope and pray she finds some peace and stability in her own life and takes comfort from her daughter's and loved ones, I'm certain her daddy will always watch over her and his beautiful granddaghters from above,and that he and Ben will be will be catching up on the years they missed out on being together also.

When you consider Lisa`s life right from the start it`s been a rocky road for her, some of her own making but having the Presley name is a lot to live up too. She has stepped into the spotlight with some great music and with a style of her own this song is my second favorite by her, Lights Out is my favorite. We know she cannot deny her heritage but her passion, songwriting and musical ability are hers alone and she deserves so much credit for that. Great reaction as always Michelle well done.

Have got all of Lisa's albums and do like some of her songs although some are a bit "dark" for me. Wonder if she will ever tour again or write/record more music - she obviously is talented being able to play many instruments but so did Elvis. I assume her ex-husband Michael has left the band but her other ex-husband Danny also played in her band is living in her house but not sure if they are together again as a family as obviously he has been through the sad loss of his son as well. Whatever she does I hope she finds peace in her life 💕 Thanks for sharing as well x

Elvis said Lisa Marie had a better voice than he did. Wrong, Elvis. Nobody beats yours. Lisa has a great voice. The songs I do not like are her duets with Elvis. Elvis never did duets except once with Charlie Hodge. If he wanted a duet, there were plenty great singers at his time.He never did duets. The other singers ruin his songs.

I like lisa but I don't think she sings that good I don't think she has a great singing voice like her father elvises son sounds just like him
I'm not sure if the Elvis fans will accept my honest opinion if it's not all that positive, but here it is anyway. I tried to like Lisa's music, but I really just don't like her style of music, nor her style of singing because I can hardly understand what she is saying when she sings. I also don't think she has that great of a voice quite frankly, or much stage presence. And I'm not saying this to be mean, but even though I am a huge fan of Elvis, I cannot pretend to like her music just because she's his daughter. Some people say that her music never got the recognition it deserved because of her father, but sometimes it's the opposite. Like myself, I tried to like her because of who her father was, but if her dad wasn't Elvis, I probably would never have given her music a listen to more than once.
I feel bad for even saying this because I love Elvis, and I know Lisa was his world, so I want to respect her. And I do respect her as a person, and I'm glad a lot of you like her music, but this was my own personal honest opinion of her as a musical artist, which might not be very popular.

Love the show and you are wonderful but I'm an elvis fan. This will sound terrible but I have no interest in Lisa. Her father was unique. A one off and a music and culture icon.. Lisa made it because of her name. There are better singers than Lisa. Elvis stands alone.. just my opinion.

Lisa seems like a nice lady & does a good job of helping run Graceland BUT she doesn't sing well. No disrespect intended, but I think the reason she did so many of those duets is because her own career is lacking.
