I lost my daughter in 2021. You don't realize what that feels like until you go through it. You never really get over it. It's always there. You just have to try to live with it and find a place in your heart to put it. I don't understand how Priscilla could not have spoken to Lisa for 8 yrs, only speaking when they had to. That's a tough one. Riley says she's going to finish Lisa's memoir, and what a grand thing for Riley to do for Lisa. I remember Lisa, when asked about Riley taking over, she sang her praises and said, "She'll do a better job than I did." :-( Lisa would have done a better job had Priscilla turned it over to her and allowed her to do it while she stepped aside. I don't understand why, Priscilla felt she needed to take money from her grandchildren, and not be willing to step aside. Riley is not taking any money for being a trustee. She has to still pay Priscilla for the next 10 yrs. Navarone was given part of Graceland. He comes out and says he's glad Lisa is gone. Lisa is Riley's mother. This young woman has had an immense amount of things to deal with and she still does it with a smile. There is so much acrimony between Graceland, Joel Weinshanker, and Priscilla, (Joel fired Priscilla in 2020 from EPE) Riley has to pay Priscilla whether she does anything for Graceland or not. God Bless Riley for taking the high road. She is truly Elvis' Granddaughter. She puts people about their greed and she obviously is not going to argue about money.

It's hard when a mother loses a child, and a child or children, loses their mother. I'm sure Priscilla does love and miss Lisa in her own way. It's good to see Riley reaching out to her grandmother and trying to be closer as a family. After all, Lisa is gone, and they may need each other desperately for comfort. Grieving for one that dies is never easy, but they can take comfort in knowing, Lisa Marie is now in a much better place now and she is freed of all of her personal pain. She is also, reunited with her beloved father Elvis and son Benjamin. They say, when a person dies, it's like they take a whole universe with them when they go. So, I can pretty much understand this saying, as one person can become the world to their family and friends. Lisa was the world, as well as meant the world to her mother Priscilla and her three children. When Lisa lost her son Ben, she truly suffered from his loss, and now she is free from any pain and sadness that she felt. She shed some light on the life of Lisa Marie and I have to say the most astounding and horrific revelation was that this animal--Priscilla--permitted her live in boyfriend, Michael Edwards, to sexually abuse Lisa Marie and continued to let him live under the same roof as her and Lisa and continue to assault that child. I will probably get negative feedback, but let me tell you what I know, as I iive in the L.A. metropolitan area. In the mid 1980's I was friends with a flight attendant (Christine) who seemed to be friends with the Beaulieu family (maybe Priscilla's sister). Christine knew I was a EP fan, so she gave me some original, kodak photos of Elvis & Priscilla holding Baby Lisa at Graceland (when she was tiny), so she was definitely credible. In 1968 Christine & her girlfriends were driving down the L.A. freeway & saw EP. They yelled out, "Hey Elvis, how's the baby?" They then all went somewhere and Christine said she was very stunned at how EP was heavily kissing her friend. Christine commented, " I felt so sorry for Priscilla, with all of that crying." Unfortunately, EP was a player, which Anita Wood found out.

Beaulieu still can’t act. LOL It seems that Riley is trying to help Beaulieu gloss over the cancel Elvis movie she made, and make amends with Elvis fans. She won’t be able to foist her on us. Elvis may have died not knowing who Beaulieu really is, but we know. Riley was a no-show for Elvis’ birthday proclamation. I don’t think Riley appreciates her grandfather properly - she seems lukewarm and aloof when speaking of him. I also don’t think she cares for Elvis’ fans any more than her Grandmother does, either, and I also think she shows more homage to Beaulieu than she does Lisa Marie, who was abused by and estranged from her mother. I lost my daughter in 2021. You don't realize what that feels like until you go through it. You never really get over it. It's always there. You just have to try to live with it and find a place in your heart to put it. I don't understand how Priscilla could not have spoken to Lisa for 8 yrs, only speaking when they had to. That's a tough one. Riley says she's going to finish Lisa's memoir, and what a grand thing for Riley to do for Lisa. Went to Graceland last Oct. I would like to go again one day. Such a moving experience.
It's hard when a mother loses a child, and a child or children, loses their mother. I'm sure Priscilla does love and miss Lisa in her own way. It's good to see Riley reaching out to her grandmother and trying to be closer as a family. After all, Lisa is gone, and they may need each other desperately for comfort. Grieving for one that dies is never easy, but they can take comfort in knowing, Lisa Marie is now in a much better place now and she is freed of all of her personal pain. She is also, reunited with her beloved father Elvis and son Benjamin. They say, when a person dies, it's like they take a whole universe with them when they go. So, I can pretty much understand this saying, as one person can become the world to their family and friends. Lisa was the world, as well as meant the world to her mother Priscilla and her three children. When Lisa lost her son Ben, she truly suffered from his loss, and now she is free from any pain and sadness that she felt. She shed some light on the life of Lisa Marie and I have to say the most astounding and horrific revelation was that this animal--Priscilla--permitted her live in boyfriend, Michael Edwards, to sexually abuse Lisa Marie and continued to let him live under the same roof as her and Lisa and continue to assault that child. She even blamed Lisa Marie for the assaults. My heart absolutely sank when I heard what this child was subjected to. I will probably get negative feedback, but let me tell you what I know, as I iive in the L.A. metropolitan area. In the mid 1980's I was friends with a flight attendant (Christine) who seemed to be friends with the Beaulieu family (maybe Priscilla's sister). Christine knew I was a EP fan, so she gave me some original, kodak photos of Elvis & Priscilla holding Baby Lisa at Graceland (when she was tiny), so she was definitely credible. In 1968 Christine & her girlfriends were driving down the L.A. freeway & saw EP. They yelled out, "Hey Elvis, how's the baby?" They then all went somewhere and Christine said she was very stunned at how EP was heavily kissing her friend. Christine commented, " I felt so sorry for Priscilla, with all of that crying." Unfortunately, EP was a player, which Anita Wood found out.

It seems that Riley is trying to help Beaulieu gloss over the cancel Elvis movie she made, and make amends with Elvis fans. She won’t be able to foist her on us. Elvis may have died not knowing who Beaulieu really is, but we know.
Riley was a no-show for Elvis’ birthday proclamation.
I don’t think Riley appreciates her grandfather properly - she seems lukewarm and aloof when speaking of him. I also don’t think she cares for Elvis’ fans any more than her Grandmother does, either, and I also think she shows more homage to Beaulieu than she does Lisa Marie, who was abused by and estranged from her mother. I wouldn’t mind being wrong about all this, but I don’t think I am.
Now that I see the lay of the land, so to speak, I think it is okay that Riley not attend all the ceremonies, etc., (like the Elvis birthday proclamation) since her heart doesn’t seem to be in it.
Elvis will always be loved the world over, no matter who presides over all the shindigs, memorials, and ceremonies.

She probably invited herself to be with Riley at the Golden Globes because it was just announced Lisa Marie's memoir is coming out this October and Riley is helping edit it.
