For completion's sake, the time stop comes after 5 (I think) big vegetables are pulled up, and you can ride those ladybugs (at least, I could, but I was playing on Advance). Also, baller moves with the key. I usually just threw it at enemies and then picked it up again when the mask left.

The main reason I liked Mario 2 was because it changed up the formula a lot and added all kinds of neat features, music, etc. It's just kinda weird knowing that none of that was actually meant to be affiliated with Mario

The slots actually have different rewards in the SNES remake compared to the NES original. I forget how it is on the NES, but in this SNES version, unless my memory is failing me, each cherry from left to right without a gap gets you one life, three of anything else gets you two lives, and three sevens specifically I believe is 10 lives.

If you push a or b when the 7 is rolling across the front position of the slot, youll get a 7. Do each slot individually, and you should have over 100 lives after 1-2. 3 cherries is really easy to get cuz its the only thing in the slot machine with text. So as soon as you see txt, hit the button and youll get at least 2 out of 3 every time

To stop the mask from chasing you drop the key and the mask will fly away Mask will reappear once you pick up the key.
