So not only is United performing poorly, they're actually quite fortunate to be as high up the table as they are.
Obviously we’ve been so lucky and it’s ran out and look how bad we are without Bruno and he gets the blame he deserves so much better than us
We’ve also been showing relegation form for a while now
Man United are undoubtedly the luckiest team this year. Just on pure stats, they are one of the worse teams in the league. But they've managed to sneak many points their performances didn't deserve.
quite? Even very is an understatement yet alone quite...
hard to believe they are anywhere near the top 6.....theyve had horrific results all season
Ashley Young there to state the obvious repeatedly
He really offers no insight does he 😂
Stating the obvious multiple times with every synonyms possible 😂
nice guy but yeah he's really out of his depth here.
Yup. Ashley Young getting paid to repeat what the others are saying 😅
I feel bad for him though. "that just can't be right can it for Manchester United?"
Like, what do you say to that? What's he supposed to say there?
Fascinating insight from Ashley Young.
😂
as you can see they are down there so it's no wonder they are down there
When it's a 20 mark question but you can only think of one point
The hell is pro-grass?
It's a group of people in favour of grass. Their opposition group are anti-grass
@@Don_Dewitt We actually call ourselves pro-astro, we think that "anti-grass" is a term used to refer to us turfers negatively
It's people who approve of ratting folk out.
@@Mankind081nice
Pro grass put that on a t shirt
Carragher: "This is as bad as it gets."
Man Utd: Nope
Man Utd . we will beat that lol
Man city will be fun in the final 😂
Ashley Young has got to be one of the worst pundits going. Giving Owen a run for his money.
isnt this his debut as a pundit?
he sounded really nervous.
But remember... he knows the baaaasssics of footbawlll 😂😂
It's his first time doing it lmao, cut him some slack
I thought he was good for his first time don't be a c*nt
He's still Young after all
Deep tactical insight there from Ashley Young
They just ask Ashley to say the exact same thing the dude just says lol.
Here after the 4-0 L😂😭, Palace should’ve won by 7goals🤷♂️.
This did come out after the 4-0 loss to be fair so I’d be surprised if you weren’t here after that
By 7 you say, just shush.
@@tokyosmitsubishipalace literally hot the post and utd were lucky on other occasion so who shush?
@@tokyosmitsubishi yeah could have been 8
This Palace manager looks decent. Let's not forget one of the few managers in recent years to win at Liverpool and has the team well set up. Might be difficult if they sell their best players in the summer but looks good so far.
he also won the europa league few years ago
A huge part of it is those front 3. If they are playing they nearly always win. The problem has been keeping them fit.
Funny how much united fans want to keep him. Every one of their rivals feels absolutely no threat from utd while 10hag is at the helm😂
The reason we don’t want him gone is because we sacked Moyes, Van Haal, Mourinho, OGS…they can’t all be the problem.
If we sack ETH, okay…then what? Another manager trying to work with players who don’t care?
I’m genuinely asking this isn’t sarcasm…but what do we do?
For me, the club needs to empower the manager to start sacking/selling players in order for players to actually take him seriously and to run, to actually try on the pitch.
Klopp & Pep are respected and feared by their players but honestly, with our current squad…no manager on the planet will get that.
You could assign Guardiola i promise he won't get better results from this squad
Ten haag doing a great job 😂
@@dylanlyons6 so even if you appointed Idk Ronald Koeman, you wouldn't sack him simply because sacking managers hasn't 'worked' for you?
@@arthur_168 issue is that no matter who we get as a manager, they aren't able to push united to winning/competing for the pl and ucl. So what do man utd do from here lol?
As a utd fan for 30 years, this is the worst ive seen. Mid table team at best.
It is a mid-table team atm. How many world-class players do we have? Bruno & Martinez maybe? Both injured and out of the game. Playing evans and casemiro at the back was absolutely criminal. They shouldve had younger legs over there. My heart sank when Case got pushed for the 3rd goal. He is selfish to turn up for the games when he should be in physio. He literally limps on the field.
Yeah, people as in mainly pundits need to stop calling United a top table/ top tier (top whatever) team. Mid table (as you say) at best. Frankly United are lucky to even be in the top half. If United somehow finished bottom half (not saying relegation) next season, I’m not sure if we should be surprised.
mourinho : this is the worst ive seen them
olly : this is the worst ive seen them
Emperor ming : this is the worst ive seen them
@@93CamiSS Martinez and Bruno aren’t even close to being world class either. It’s insane how much has been spent to how bad they are..
you’re lucky to be mid table
Ashley Young aint no pundit thats for sure lmao.
Hiding behind Brighton haha
I didn't get that bit
@@jeffreygoujon9359 They're rivals thats why.
@@JB-bu2lw didnt even know palace and brighton were rivals until now. wonder why
@@callumf1761 yeah its a strange rivalry

Ashley Young had no idea what he was looking at 😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂
Prograss.😂
United fans trying to defend their team do a better job than their team defending 🤣
You mean the team with no defence all season isn't doing well in defence...?
This was before Palce beat United 4-0.
Crazy that the team without a back line is conceding goals wow well done carragher
Tbh despite the poor defensive statistics, Maguire has been quite solid throughout the season. The man has a POTM to show for his efforts 👏🏽
Unfortunately he's been injured
A small club facing most shots. What's so shocking in it? I just don't understand 🤷♂️

It's like having 30+ defensive changes in a single season effects your defensive ability, Who would have thought that?
Does anyone else think our “injury list” is predominantly players that just don’t want to play?
What about the field tilt, scan rate or ribs & dibs 😂😂
Anyone know where Jamie carragjer gets hit jumpers. Nice fit
Long may it continue
guess what, it's the injuries excuse again
Why not? Is united immune?
@@Maxtee77 Because every single team in Premier League had injuries but they dealt with it. You hear Man city or Liverpool or Arsenal crying about injuries? they used youth players and bench players to rotate the squad.
@@Maxtee77Exactly. Ten Hag should be given more time. Rival fans fear him deep down. An injury free season and Man United might get top 4 again.
@@KeeperCharliewhich other team is missing two of their best players from the back for for 3/4 of the season if not more?
@@Big_flizz32Who cares, Shaw and Martinez both stink. Both started in a 7-0 drubbing and United fans still try and make out they're any good
Currently 4 down at Palace
Ngl them first 2 graphs point to Onana maybe not being as bad as everyone thinks
At the end of last season, Saliba got injured. Arsenal then lost 3-0 to Brighton. They lost 1 nil to Forest. They drew 3-3 to Southampton and they drew 2-2 to West Ham. That's the impact 1 player can have. United haven't had Martinez all season, and haven't had a left back all season.
Dalot's been better than shaw
@@tvna231he’s a right footed right back, not a left back
Hahahahahaha just nonsense excuses
All teams have injuries and most teams have a style of play whether they are losing or winning. Uniteds midfield is a shambles and wasn’t great last season when you look at some of their defeats.
the problem with United is still their CDM, it doesn't matter who are their CBs partnership If the gap between midfield and defense still wide open, United would still have a lot of shots against them. I don't recall Liverpool getting this many shots against them when they had Phillips and Williams as their CB
Definitely Ronaldo's fault right?
And de gea's
Good point!
Was a problem that season ye, at least they had a squad back then
Let it go, kid.
Not all ronaldos fault but he had an impact
I would love to hear what the ETH defenders are gonna say!
Carra rocking the full gold Skydweller with a Blue Dial
Who caught the Brighton joke 😂
Indeed
Huh that stats looks bad did United have lots of injuries at cb 🤔 that might explain it
Exactly what a stupid video like obviously 😭
Not really those kind of stats are about the team, the CBs are left exposed
Yup, agreed. Get ETH a new contract. People can’t recognise class.
@@yester9037 It matters alot when u have to play ur 5th choice cb with a midfielder at cb
Shhhh! When it's United it doesn't count 😁
Sir Spitsalot breaking down a bizarre graphic is the content all Utd fans want… Sky gets it 😂
This really highlights how great Onana has been this season
That graph is weird. The x and y axis are decreasing.
It's like Ashley Young wasn't told they were gonna be rinsing his old club
We currently lack a fit center back, having tried over 30 different combinations. It's been the worst season for Casemiro, and expecting us to maintain an xG below 1 seems unrealistic. While it's easy to blame Ten Hag, any manager would struggle with the amount of injuries we're facing. I'm not defending Ten Hag, and I even question his decisions at times, but sacking him isn't the solution. The real issue lies in the structure of the club and support he has. I hope Ten Hag gets the opportunity to work under a better structure. One thing is certain: if we do sack Ten Hag, he'll likely find success elsewhere with better support. It's time to address the root cause of our problems. not sack yet another manager.
Newcastle have had more injuries and never once complained
@@Matty-kellyive definitely heard Eddie Howe complaining about injuries this season on more than one occasion along with their fans. They’re 2 point higher than United with similar amount of injuries. Can’t deny though that the amount of injuries across the whole league is ridiculous this season, no matter what team you support.
@@Matty-kellythey've added a settled defence for awhile though which included squad players. Ours has players who are designated u21 (Evans wasn't signed for the first team but has somehow been the first choice)
Wow… that was 3 minutes of just… vital info.
honestly funny how the media always calls out our horrible defensive performance this season but forget about how good we were at the back last year. literally just look at the lineup… not much more to say. no coach on this planet could get that back four and midfield setup to perform its simply not possible. everyone’s expectations need to be checked i predicted a 3-1 loss but today could’ve been 5-6 to 0 easily.
Oh Nottingham Forest! Almost equal Liverpool, City, and Arsenal when you map shots v xG. On the goals conceded and losses 5th and 4th respectively, meaning they have conceded a bunch of shockers this season.
It certainly shows the potential of the Forest squad though and no doubt Sels coming in has helped too.
Poor lad, didn’t help him at all with that question
Swapping varane for evans was as eth said "tactics"
Why do these people always wear the same shoes
This is the first time I'm hearing Ashley talk and I was not expecting that voice
how to make something simple way more convoluted and complex than it is
Why do they not also show avg shots taken and expected goals for? This is only one side of the coin
Say what you want about caragher , his Monday night analysis is spot on 👍
Hilarious insight from Ashley Young. To be fair, being a pundit is not easy.
Onana playing hospital passes to the defenders doesn’t help. They are all counted as completed passes but all he is doing is putting the defence under pressure. He doesn’t play the whistle either putting his hand up for offside multiple times and stops attempting to save the shots
Ngl comparing seasons makes no sense as each season teams are very different so you can’t just say it’s better or worse. United we’re average last year in a weak season
Should've made this clip another minute longer. Carra showing United make Burnley look like prime Barcalona was a thing of beauty
It was just as bad under Rangnick and Ole before they got fired. It's not the manager, but the players and the leadership in the club.
ETH in!!!!
“Be careful what you wish for” they say to West Ham fans
We play defensive football, look at that record!!!
It's almost like their entire backline has been injured all season. Must take a genius to figure out their defense sucks
pundits ashley young paul scholes michael owen/ what great pundits for insomnia
I did not expect Ashley to sound like that.
it’s a trifeca of calamities for UTD:
1. We play an end to end game under ETH which leaves us open to counters
2. Our best defenders aren’t great covering one v one or with their backs to goal
3. All our best defenders have also been injured all season
This has combined with a general high water point in premier league quality to create the worst defense I’ve ever seen as a UTD fan.
35 year old Evans and 32 years old cdm with no legs, what do you expect, and no left back!!
there is no way sky sports are producing these stats....
I just got back on line after sieng this thumbnail I knew Cristal palace had cooked United 😢😢😂😂😂😂😂
We love stats but someone doesn't believe 😂
Called the maguire effect
So, if I read this correctly, either Onana is the greatest keeper of all time or Old Trafford has really thick posts and crossbars.
No pattern of play, to slow in possession, counter attack or nothing, No top team plays without control of the ball time for a fresh start
It's almost like they have 1 semi-fit 36 yr old centre back and no left backs.
@1:27 "ashley's everton" ... ok mate
I think any notion Ten Hag would still be there next season is now well and truly over after tonight...
Palace were immense
When he comes to Jamie about ETH comments about his analysis being about "one moment in time," Id have just pointed to the screen and said nothing. 😅
Losing 4-0 at Palace and they showed no fight. But it's just the newest low so far.
Proving expected goals means nothing
Carragher talking more sense than most United fans.
Ever since the Gary Neville/Ten Haag interview Carragher just couldnt let it drop
Liverpool lose klopp end of the season.. they'll be having the same issues as united are having since fergie left as managers like fergie and klopp are irreplaceable
This has aged quite well it seems, 4-0 vs palace!
Video ended more abruptly than my marriage
Get Keane in, seriously, get him in there.
all these bots is crazy
I’m no united fan, but judging them on their defence is slightly harsh given they’re having a Liverpool 2020/21 level injury crisis
And other fans wonder why we wanted Moyes to go 🙄🙄
This is Manchester United Football Club we’re talking about here!
Man united can had this issue for a long time. They've been quite lucky to end up high in the table and this gives a sense of false security. It's the same with the Ronaldo case. Man utd's season before they were second. Their team didn't really change all that much except they got a proper striker. The poor performances during that season showed the problem that was being masqued by luck.
“We don't stop until 8 gols I want the revenge” *InMyArtetavoice*
Cost of selling Fred in Central midfielder.
Ok man we get it
Why is the presenter and ashley young wearing the same trainers?
Ten Haag Masterclass 😂😂😂😂
Looks like they're wearing the same shoes
They concede more not because the defence sucks but because the midfield sucks they dont control games and pressure so they concede way more. Sign 2 proper CMS not more AMs and man u will be fine next season if a your a man u fan and dont see them sign any cm your screwed.
Ashamed to say i didnt even know there was a mayoral election until the day. I don't watch mainstream tv and nobody seemed to talk about it. I had no idea who was running. If maher ran i would vote for him. Lets do this.
Look at West Ham! And there’s still people who are Moyes in
This os MIND BOGGLING
This looks like really bad news, but for who Chris Kamara?
I think people need to stop using this saying of "This is manchester United"
The facts are there and it doesn't matter if your forest green or real Madrid, if you are having a bad season your having a bad season.
Where as in uniteds case they are on for a record 20 years without a major trophy. So United aren't a big team anymore they aren't.
They are a mid table club fighting for conference every season. That's what they are. And United fans need to start expecting that.
Lol no😂 The fact that there are countless videos of Man Utd all over the internet, people talking about how bad we are, shows how big of a club this is, and, I don't know how you don't know this by now😂 There are no videos on Brighton for instance. We're a big club just going through a tough season, just like Arsenal for like 15 years and Liverpool for like 30. No one said they're no longer big clubs when they were going through tough times
And still some people wanna keep Ten Hag
Can’t believe some united fans actually back him aswell
Because it’s the players fault the same thing would happen under every manager in the world getting a new manager would just repeat the same process since saf left
