@@moto.obsession For sure. I'm on the same boat too. Looking to pick up so Rosso 3s when I get back home. R3s are good commuter bikes. I switched out the clip-ons and rearsets for mine so its more aggressive.
I had a cbr3 for my first learner and honestly loved it but did not like the handling as much as the R3 . Plan on learning more advance stuff on the r3 then upgrade to an r7.
I know this is about 2 years late, but be aware of local laws pertaining to integrated tail lights, many US States have laws against them.(this is more of a visibility issue as some folks can't differentiate brakes and turn signals with some kits) When on the streets, stay legal, and stay safe. Live to tell the Tale.
46 tooth rear sprocket (43 is stock) has been my favorite mod. i do mainly city riding and some curvy roads occasionally. it provides me with more acceleration in the corners, but taking a 15 mph top speed hit (top speed 95ish mph) that is fine with me because i don't go on the highway often

MotoObsession i actually just finally installed them on my r3 like a week or two ago. I had the same ones from tst. And saw the video a couple times before doing it my self. I didn’t like that I’d have to remove the inner fairing piece that looks like fine but made it work without having to remove or cut them but making an extension bracket on the 2 screws that hold it higher. The one plastic clip still does its job too since its basically like a swivel. My curiosity at the time was you didn’t mention them too much and thought you might not like them after install. But I just wanted the protection Incase of a tip over.

Both are great choices I think so I would just go for whichever one you can find at a better price where you are at. All the Ninja 400’s around me at the time were only at dealers whereas I bought this R3 from the original owner with less than 1,000 miles on it and saved all those dealer costs and deprecation costs.

I live in NY and aroun me I see some Ninja 300-400 and R3 for sale with 2000-7000 miles on them but the asking price is almost like brand new($500-$1000 less than brand new). Hi,i saw one r3 mod that looks like an r6 head,,is there really head cowl kid for this new r3?? Also will it be too bad to thicken the rear a bit like one bit?just for looks and will it effect the performance too much?
Hey what’s up, I wanted to ask you something about your bike. I have the 2020 R3 and about 2 weeks ago I started to notice a leak on my fork. I really didn’t think nothing of it, just cleaned it and that was it. But fast forward to current day and it’s doing it again. Of course I opened a browser and searched and found out the 2019 model had two recalls related to brake oil leaks. Have you ever experienced anything like this?

I never measured the db, it's a full Yoshi Alpha-T Race exhaust with the baffle installed.

Those levers are terrible... The reach to engage the clutch is awful. I’m going back to a stock clutch lever, albeit painted black.
After more time with them, I think I’m siding with you on it, I went back to the stock levers
