  • Why should you buy this 2021 Road Glide Limited 131 Stage 4 instead of a base model 2024?
    You could buy this and buy a 2024 and swap all the parts off and then sale again and gain all the part and 131 Stage 4 off this bike, 21" wheel and fenders, bags, bars, foot controls, seat, etc. Part list below.
    To avoid confusion please know that the 2024 Road and Street Glides that are for sale at the dealerships right now that are the BASE models (Not a Special, Limited, ST, or CVO) bare naked starting price of $25,999 just like HD has done for years.
    The obvious indicators are the flat black inner fairing, no tour pack, no lower fairing, only 2 basic speaker, old recycled parts from models 7 years ago, basic grips and bars, base wheels, and absolutely No upgrades at all.
    Wait for a 2024 RG/SG Special or a 2025 RG/SG Limited.
    The 2024 Road Glide LIMITED (which is the comparison for this bike) is starting at $32,499.

    Additionally the 2024 RG Limited is the same model as all the previous models for the last several years with Rushmore Traditional Fairing and M8 114 engine.
    Please don’t compare the bike that I’m selling to a basic based line 2024 Road or Street Glide model.
    My 2021 has enough parts to remove and install on your 2024 the cost more than buying a new 2024, and would cost you less to buy this bike and us it to upgrade your 2024 and still have two bikes.
    The 131 engine alone is $7,300 without install.

    That’s a nice build. Gonna be tough to sell her off but I get it. Struggling with the same thing right now. Finally got my FXLRS dialed-in, but the new CVO ST is on another level.

      I don’t like the CVO ST. I think it’s a waist and money is better spent just buying the CVO. It’s suckering people by calling it a CVO. It has all the luxury CVO parts removed and it a mock track bike. Still tops out like any other HD and still has to be modded.

      That’s a lot of disrespect tone in my statement about the ST but ST’s are meant to be made not manufactured commercially to trick HD addicts like us into buying something stripped down with fancy color accents. I mention this because even though it’s each individuals choice on what they do with their money; it disappoints me to see people trading in a CVO that they just purchased to buy and lose value on a bike they fought and waited for to lose thousands and then have negative equity for something called and “ST” which is stripped down and just because it has a track mode; especially when you can build your own custom modes on screen and with the Bluetooth tuners that are out anyway. You can also remove your own parts and add add the parts from the ST on the HD parts store. Your value as the owner is in the VIN #. Don’t fall for the dangling carrot 🥕.

      No way. The 24 CVO ST is the Same bike as the 23.5 CVO’s but with less. Can custom tune bike for same results. Cosmetic’s are all for sale on line and people turning theirs back into the real CVO but have less. Cheaper to just get a real CVO and ride in comfort.

      Great minds think alike. I hear not so many good reviews on BMW and worst things on the Tesla Cyberbeat. They are off the list. 25 Goldwing must have touchscreen or no way, and 24 CVO Toad Glide Limited Edition must come with more than what I have now and something I can’t make myself.

    It has everything that you like. Buying a modded bike is buying the sellers desires. Best off just keeping it and getting what you want. Replacing OEM body parts with over priced plastics from advanblack is crazy.

      Thank you for your reply I have no comment to you bike my reply is for this looking to see what I would say back. This bike build and any bike build I do isn’t about me. It’s for the TH-cam channel. I will buy everything and anything just to review it no matter the price or brand. I have purchased at minimum 7 NEW HDs in past few years. Some I didn’t like the looks at all. I build based upon what’s trending and what the viewers will recommend and suggestions from those who follow my channel. In reference to the remarks by the person commenting above regarding its crazy to buy Advanblack: OEM body parts actually cost more than any aftermarket parts and they aren’t made of plastic by the way. Additionally, What I pay for Advanblack is not what everyone else pays. If you can afford a top of the line HD limited bagger and several other bikes and cars then money is not a matter anyway. Since I was 14 I have customized bikes and cars and kept for a year or so and then only sold them for what I owe. It’s never been about the money for me. The amount I’m selling the bike for is half than less than the amount of parts and labor time put into it. It’s a give away. I’m blessing someone else who knows the value of this bike and who has been following this bike on my channel for two years now. People complaining about HD cost and HD parts upgrades are simply venting or they aren’t really part of HD culture. People who can afford real Gucci don’t buy Michael Kores and then complain about the price of Gucci. They realize that you can’t put a price on anything that’s iconic, legendary, and the American Dream; the American Piece of Pie.

      Let me ask you this: what do you ride and how much do you know about Harley-Davidson? The 2024 Road Glide Limited is starting at $32,499, and still has same Rushmore fairing and parts that I had before upgrading yet mine originally some for more based on upgrades. I don’t have a Road Glide basic which is what you are trying to compare my bike to which is the 2024 Road Glide basic with nothing at all on it for starting at $25,999. They do not even have navigation without paying for a subscription now. Old foot controls old bars, basic grips, no vvt, it’s basically a 107 changed to 117 and a new fairing. The 2024 LIMITED still has the Rushmore fairing and set up like mine STARTED and based on my model and color my base price was more than the 24 limited. I have more in parts and labor than both bikes. Parts that are modern and can be used on the new models if someone purchased it and just used it for parts on their new rip off road glide or street glide. Do your research before you jump out here with comments that could hinder what I’m doing. I’m not trying to make money of this deal I’m simply trying to bless someone. I’ve been doing this since 14 y/o and anyone who purchases any bike that I have owned certainly walks away ahead. If that wasn’t the case the past purchasers that I have sold bikes to would be here commenting or complaining. If you have better input then comment if not then well comment too. I’ve got time today.

    Should have sold it before the 24s came out. The value just went way down. It’s nice though. It’s going to be a hard sell at that price. You will have to take a big loss or just keep it

      The 24’s are basic. They are less than the models that are normally the RG or SG special. They are wack. It’s a new bike with old foot controls and basically only added feature is a new fairing and infotainment. It comes with flat black inner fairing. The reason it sells lower than they have sold is because they are providing less. There is no free navigation on those now. When you hit navigation a QR code pops up and you have to buy nav. The 24’s have old wheels, old brake technology and is wack. I can’t believe you would compare a 24 basic RG or SG to any year Limited or Ultra. In fact the 24 RG limited is made the same as the one I’m selling and still has the traditional Rushmore fairing because even HD knows it’s a better bike. I have both so I personally know. If someone could have both free but could only pick one and they selected a 24 RG basic over what I’m selling they would be confused. My engine and parts cost more than a new 24 RG basic. You get what you pay for. Anyone buying a 24 RG/SG basic will regret it when the mid year H-D’s are released. There is a reason why they are at that price point. There nothing on them.

      So true. The new fairing on the 24 Roadglide looks very cheap. It’s not even gloss black like the specials. It’s cheaper for them to drop the physical analog gauges and only have the digital. And you’re right it has cheaper wheels. I pulled up at the HD dealer with my 2021 billiard teal customize RoadGlide Special. This guy had just bought the new 24 RoadGlide and looked envious of my 21.

H-D has always had a base model, a special, a limited and a CVO. The 2024 that’s out in a limited still has the Rushmore fairing and the base starting price one is more and also additional for two tone.

    Put the back to oem and you will probably sell it faster. You are trying to recoup some of the money you spent on the mods you ain’t slick.

      Never about the money. I need garage space so I can build another bike. Can’t make content without a bike to customize. This bike has been on the channel forever and it’s time for something new. I never keep bikes or cars longer than a year.
