    I did have shorty levers on my 6R but after some time I decided to switch back to stock ones. No big deal they didn't cost much.. But for the better feel, you can get the branded ones like ASV / DMV / etc.

      I may try branded in the near future. I'm always looking for something different. Thanks for watching.

    Thanks for vedio, I have bike and I recently changed to same short levers to make clutch adjustable coz it was a bit far away, but I couldn't use it on 1 which is closest coz it wouldn't disengage the clutch correctly so I had to keep it on level 3

      That sounds cool. These are like the crg but no brand name. I like the way they look and feel.

    I put Pazzo's on mine. They're really nice but cost me more than my first motorcycle did! In all fairness I am pretty old

    Good video's! I have been thinking about picking up a new gsx s1000f and it's nice to see what the mods will turn out like.
    I just need to find one to test ride, if you know any any dealers in Florida that would allow a test ride please let me know.

    What brand is it? Because there are countless possibilities on ebay

  • @Drjfever

    I was wondering how to do this on my GSXS 1000. Excellent video. What the name of the levers?

    • @MotoMerica
      @MotoMerica  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      They are no name brand but were listed on Ebay for the GSX-S1000 and S1000F. They are good quality and have many color choices. These were from US seller so shipping was just a few days. Thanks for watching.

    The levers look great. I really like the look of the power bronze screen. What the name of the colour? Does it help with the wind..or not so much?

    • @MotoMerica
      @MotoMerica  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks. I think it was called dark smoke. I got it off Ebay. It does help move the wind from your chest and head to mostly your head but your head still gets a lot of wind. I think at higher speeds it will be easier to tuck behind. I will do a driving review tomorrow if it stops raining.

    Hey bro, been watching your vids for a minute. We (my wife and I) just recently bought bikes again after selling ours 3 years ago. We both got the 2018 Suzuki GSX-S1000f(damn long name). She is a shorter rider so I had to lower this bike as I have the other 2 she’s had. I also installed shorty levers from The2Wheels specifically for this bike. On the clutch side these particular levers have that piece that is supposed to cover the plunger(as the OEM ones do). Well that piece is much smaller and it doesn’t cover the plunger so it pops all the way out. Did you have the same issue with yours? I know you said you got yours from E-Bay. Would you mind posting the link? I need to get her shorty levers as she has small hands. Thanks man, enjoying the mods.

    On my Ninja 650, there were issues with cheap brake levers which engage the break slightly due to poor machining without touching the brakes. This resulted in front lockup. Do you know if that is a concern with these levers?

    • @MotoMerica
      @MotoMerica  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank-you shin888. Sometimes I forget to explain fully. You bring up a good point as I've heard there are cheap Chinese levers on ebay that are not made well or use poor materials. These levers were from US company. The installation is not for cheap levers and every person should purchase the levers they want and make sure they fit properly. Definitely check the depth of the hole the brake plunger slips into. It should be the same as stock. Calipers can confirm this. This installation is the same for $200 levers as it is for $60 levers - always need to make sure that if you are putting on anything that moves mechanically, you gotta make sure it functions the way it is supposed to as well. Thanks for watching and commenting.

    Are you planning to change exhast coz this bike missing the sound exhast and it has to be full system, I like M4 sound and price, but don't like how it looks

    • @MotoMerica
      @MotoMerica  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes but there are not a lot of full systems yet. Two Brothers racing said they would build a full system for the s1000f if sales go up so i think it will happen. There are some choices but very expensive now.

    where can i get them my self live in sweden but i hope can buy from us or something

    • @MotoMerica
      @MotoMerica  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ebay - just search for your bike and look at the stock levers to see how they attach. Should look the same where they mount to the bike. Thanks for watching. I would love to see your country sometime in my life.

    Hi motomerica, I recently purchaseda set of shorty levers from ebay for my bike (same as the one u ride). I installed them both and I'm noticing that the brake lever feels a bit spongy (need to pull down on it more, not as tight as the original lever) is that something u experience as well is it normal behavior? I can brake and stop the bike but does feel looser than the genuine part. Any consideration is appreciated.

    • @MotoMerica
      @MotoMerica  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for checking out my channel. Spongy feel..... I didn't notice any difference in mine. How does the lever fit? Is there any play in the movement at the bolt? Both levers should activate the brake the same. That's a tricky one. Is the brake lever flexing maybe?

    • @chemistny
      @chemistny 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      thank u for the quick reply I'm planning on buying the same exact levers u have can u give me the name of the vendor from ebay where u got urs I don't want to take anymore chances there're so many on the site and want to get something good and safe. much appreciated. BTW my email is angny0718@gmail.com
