I will say he was very shy until Neymar and Suarez showed up their chemistry is unmatched they got close like brothers and they both is like jokesters personality wise so they loosen up Messi a bit you could see the celebrations, fights on the pitch, and his body language in general and recently WC he was diff not shy he was maradonna disguise respectfully, nowadays he is calm and quiet but not shy he you can see he is changed compare 2010 Messi to now but he is little awkward but it’s nothing wrong with that, but as you get older you get mature and used to media and people too cuz he is always on spotlight even if he does not like it. I cannot describe the joy that we felt here in Argentina that day. I was one of those out in the streets celebrating, the party went on for days. However I do not wish to repeat the anxiety we felt during some of those games, especially the penalty shoot-out against the Netherlands, and of course those last minutes against France. I thought I was going to have a heart attack, I had to sit in the bathroom I could not watch. My only signal that it was good was hearing the screams from all the neighbors at once. The city erupted in joy. I will never forget. Messi deserved it. He is a good and humble person, truly the best.
It meant so much for us in Argentina. Many of us just wish we could go back to December 18th, 2022 just so that we could live the happiness that surrounded us that day and the ones that followed. We have been suffering a lot with the percentage of poor families rising with every passing day so seeing everyone in my city go out and celebrate together with the colors of our flag no matter what their social status was brought me to tears. These past years have not been easy for us but Messi and the others brought us the joy we all needed as a nation that loves football. At lwast for a little moment. It was definitely one of the happiest days of my life and that's why I have the date tattooed on my arm!

Messi has became the captain of Argentina at the age of 25 yrs just solely on his footballing ability
But because of his young age coupled with his shy and introverted personality and him losing 3 finals in a row, caused him to get a lot of criticism on his leadership and people demanding he steps down from the Argentina national team completely
But as he grew older he became a better leader which helped him carry his Argentina side which was full of young players to the world cup trophy

To be quite frank, I don't understand the Gvardiol (15:00) comparison with money and age. If anything, I find my memory lacking of any player being able to stick that close to Messi for that amount of time. Especially, without committing a foul.
