It`s hard for you guys to grasp Messi`s greatness since you didn`t watch him since the beginning and it was a beautiful ride, but just imagine in terms of Basketball to have a player that has MJ`s skillset and scoring ability , Magic`s passing and vision , Lebron`s longevity ,Bill Russel`s winning achievements and Wilt`s record stats , imagine having an NBA player that has all that, Now that`s what Messi is , he made the impossible a routine he is the most complete player in history and definitely the greatest , anyone arguing against that only make themselves look foolish

You are overstating Messi's case. He doesn't have Russel's thropies, Wilt's records... If Messi was an NBA player he would be like Steph type magical shooter with Jordan's scoring numbers, Magic type passer with Lebron's intelligence and by far the best ball handler in history (no true equivalent in NBA), but also a small liability defensively.

Messi literally has no reason to not be known as the greatest to ever do it.
He has more trophies than everybody, he has better stats than everybody besides Ronaldo in goal scoring.
But most people consider MJ or LeBron as the goat not Wilt even though wilt averaged 50 ppg and had a 100 point game in the nba.
Literally Messi is better than everybody that has ever played the beautiful game.
Not one person comes close in all statistics like Messi.
Maybe there was the greatest passer, or a better scorer, but Messi is all together the best package as an attacker.
Dribbling, passing, scoring, he trumps literally everybody.
And it’s not like Ronaldo playing 100 more games and scoring like 70 more goals mean anything.
In terms of winning Messi is like MJ, Bill Russel, LeBron and Curry. -always winning, he scored like MJ, LeBron, Wilt and curry (statistically he is better than Ronaldo within 5 yard, in the box, and outside the box, -basically his conversion rate is like curry outside the box, MJ and wilt inside the box)
And he has the longevity of LeBron.
And passing of the greatest like LeBron, Magic, Jokic
The game iq of LeBron, Jokic, Steve Nash.
He dribbled the ball like Kyrie, AI, and other greats
    He’s the complete attacker.
Whether it’s passing the ball, Scoring the goal, or dribbling.
You think about how in other sports you can really be the best at 2 maybe 3 things. But Messi is the greatest at everything attacking.
The only fault you could consider is the fact that he can’t defend like a defender. -but I imagine his goal contributions, whether passing or scoring, were way better than him trying to put effort into defence.

Goalkeepers are the only position where you can be the best even at 40. Imo the more offensive a player is the sooner he will decrease in skill. Good 40 year old strikers are rare, but there are quite some midfielders and defenders I can think of. If you lose the offensive spart you become a completely different player but thankfully Messi has many more talents other than his speed, and anyone that watched him when young can see he is a completely different player now.

Maradona was almost 50 when Messi was showing up. It would’ve been hard for him to show the skills he once had. Also, maradona was considered a genius and I doubt he’d be able to explain it. I don’t think Messi could really explain how to dribble past 8 players either

So someone's Goatness can only be measured by the amount of goals he scored? What about goalkeepers, defenders and midfielders? Ballon d'Or was always a European prize. In 1995 George Weah was the first non-European to win that award. And then you still HAD to play for a European Club. Legends like Maradona and Pelé were never eligible for winning a Ballon d'Or. Never! What most Messi fans always fail to mention is that Messi, for Barcelona, always played in a so-called superteam: Messi was always backed up by some of the best defenders and midfielders of that era and in the case of Iniesta and Xavi, the best of all time. Messi was always given an opportunity to score and he basically never had to defend. Messi is perhaps the greatest of his generation, but he's not the GOAT. Maradona, Pelé, and Johan Cruijf, who invented Barcelona's Tiki-taka playstyle as a manager and introduced the world to total football as a player, are the true GOATS of Soccer!

It usually starts mid May till preseason training snd matches at the start of July Unless there's an international tournament. Then some players get less of a break. They usually let these players start pre season a little later

This youtuber needs to get his facts straight. The 8-2 loss to Bayern Munich was when Quique Setien was the coach, not Ernesto Valverde.
Ernesto Valverde won 2 straight Liga in his two seasons in charge, and was long gone before this 8-2 defeat.
