I know it has been 2 years and counting to comment. Earlier I have also made. As it is mentioned that spices have been absorbed by the rice. It makes chicken spiceless. So when it is the time to put the rice in the pressure cooker I took out the chicken and fried separately. Rice is cooking at 1 stove and chicken is frying another stove. During serve, rice look delicious and put fried chicken at top of rice.

Amazing recipe. Tried today and loved it. The outcome was a very restaurant type taste. Cooked chicken to 125 F before closing the cooker lid.
