HIV, or human immunodeficiency virus, is a virus which causes the Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome, or AIDS. HIV infects CD4+ T cells and integrates its genetic information into the host cell. The infection of HIV is often not recognized for years, as HIV sequences remain inactive for a very long time. Once enough T cells are destroyed, however, AIDS breaks out. Symptoms of AIDS include recurring fever, weight loss, skin rashes and persistent white lesions on the tongue or mouth. Without intervention AIDS is fatal.
Today, we can treat HIV. HIV treatments, however, have side-effects and HIV can also become resistant. This is why we need a cure for HIV. Scientists are currently trying to find HIV cures. Using genetic engineering, CCR5 can be disrupted in immune cells making them HIV resistant. Another HIV cure could potentially be combined with latency reversal where we try to activate and destroy HIV particles. As a last HIV cure, scientists try to use broadly neutralizing antibodies which help the immune system to destroy HIV. These promising results might lead to an effective HIV cure one day.

This is probably the biggest health issue, alongside cancer, that needs to be eventually cured ASAP. So many people affected by HIV!

It never was an actual pandemic. There is not one scientific study proving that HIV is the cause of AIDS. 'HIV' and 'covid' have a lot in common...HIV hype began in the early '80's before the internet, so very few people knew the real story behind the politics, but in the age of the internet we are waking up to germ theory fraud.
Acording to me, the vaccines are not coming but till then we should give vaccines to improve immune and other cells which hiv damaged so that patients could live longer without any difficulty
I guess the ideal solution would be to combine all three approaches.

Why is the cure taking too long?
It mutates super fast and also it attacks the immune system, often most medicines against infections use the immune system to attack the germ. It’s almost moot against a germ that attacks the immune system.

I am infected with a new strain of hiv that the exams do not detect, I have several changes in the blood count, only 5% of lymphocytes and 85% of neutrophils, I already have AIDS and even so my tests are not positive, my God help me I don't know what What to do, I'm losing weight without stopping. 2 years after risk situation.
Get on antiretrovirals ASAP not sure where you are but you should reach your local health department for help.
