Great show guys. Thanks for backstory Matt. What about HC&C on scent strength? Usually noted as pretty robust. I unfortunately can’t do a few artisans with higher scent strength such as A&E and goodfellas smile due to skin sensitivities. I think it’s the citrus scenting they use. A couple PAA same way. I realize my skin is more sensitive than most so nothing against those brands - classic YMMV. Plus others in my house have a more sensitive nose and robust strengths cause them issues.
Great talk guys! I think certain artisans (like Declaration Grooming) I’ve noticed keep most of their scents at a low strength. Likely to avoid fragrance burn like you guys mentioned. However PAA (in my experience) seems to have figured out how to make strong scents without them causing a fragrance burn which is interesting.
Many of us swapped to DE shaving to "save" money and initially I did for the first 6 years and then Covid came ... the rest is history. Personally it was like Ben mentioned the shaving hobby replaced some other hobbies I had so there is no real increase in Hobby budget. Great interview and "thoughts" on scent strength.💖🤠👌
Yes Matt, American vintage is one of my top winter scents. Blended very well. Don’t hear it mentioned much.
Good discussion, Peeps! Very happy to learn that always to save money is the driver for some of us!
Yeap, saving money big time. I think I could easily buy 300 cans of Barbarsol and 300 carts for what I spent on software and hardware.
Awesome discussion Gents!! 🪒💈🍊✌️
