I just got a nice Olympus Stylus 120 from a lady who sold me "all this old camera stuff" she doesn't need anymore for cheap. That was my Christmas. I got a Minolta XG1 in there as well.
@@BadFlashes It was actually a Stylus 120, the Minolta XG1, a nice little Vivirar point and shoot, some filters and a Rokkor MD mount 50-135mm for $170.
Prescription pill bottles (2"/6cm tall) make great 120 film holders. Clear enough to see what film is in there. Rigid to easily stack in the fridge. Get different colors (come in green & orange) to quickly identify color v. b&w, or fresh v. used.
Last November, I got a Mamiya 645 afd body, Mamiya 645df body, the good 80mm f/2.8, the ok 80mm f/2.8, the 55mm f/2.8, 2 film backs, a 22MP leaf aptus ii5, some super old digital back, and a bunch of other crap... for $900.
@Bad Flashes Not exactly $5 at a thrift store, but still good. I bought the 150mm on ebay when I saw a deal. I don't use it too much because I have the Contax 645. The only issues are that the leaf back needs to have it's internal battery changed and the Mamiya 645df can't use film backs.
Def on my toilet, happy thanksgiving. I like ProImage 100 for real, never have shot it in 120 though. I still need to watch Grand Budapest, I am late to the Wes movie lineup for real. Also, I didn't know there was boots of movie photos... def looking into that. I will def need a flashlight to ward off the cinestill hunters while I am in Tulsa tomorrow night chasing them Neon Dreams. The tripod hammock would def come in handy more times than not, so going to grab one of those I think. Have a good one!
