I see the thumbnail. I read the title. I like it but I'm not getting that done in a day
Ah it's so easy! No doors or drawers. Pocket hole joints. So quick! 🤣🤣
😂
Feels so good knowing I’m not alone 😅
took me about 5 hours because my kids wouldn’t leave me the hell alone while I was trying to build it 😂
@@MWAWoodworks for an experienced wood worker, sure it's easy. With all these fancy and hella expensive tools, ya piece of cake
Love how tight and concise it is. It really holds a lot without looking messy.
Matt, your videos are amazing. My students recently built this charging station for our scene shop and we are loving it. Thank you for all you do
Wow! That's awesome!
Nice job man. I like everything you did. :) The work shelf/station is so practical.
Looks good. You should make a battery dispenser for all the batteries. Then each are separated and stacked neatly
I’ve been looking online for about a year and have built one of these type of storage units I really like the design of yours it is very simple but also very attractive to look at I really like your design has give me a lot of ideas on the one I’m going to build next
Thanks!
excellent work matt! always love seeing your shop projects
Thanks brother!
Nice work. I'm thinking of doing something similar, so thank you for using un-fussy workshop construction techniques.
Good to see that you've called it quits your drill collection habit by making a rack with no more space. A healthy solution to a real world problem. : p
Wow. Impressive in so many ways! Fabulous design, great use of space, customized to your own needs with flexibility to expand or change; as you did on the fly. Every once in a while the algorithm drops a really great channel into my view - and this was an easy, subscribe, like and comment! I'm looking forward to looking at the rest of your catalogue! Well done Sir! Why don't you use glue as well (on the cabinet)?
Excellent cabinet work and you even have on the right baseball hat! I will build one or more of these cabinets thanks for the idea .
Awesome! Plans are available if you need them!
Awesome, man. Thanks for taking the time to share this!
Fantastic work, Matt! 😃
Really great design! Well done!!!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thanks!
I love seeing table saws with a riving knife installed!
👐
I think it's a cool idea. Love what you did with the fasteners.
Thanks David!
thank you for this idea, i see you as a very organized family man,
Thank you!
Thank you for this video Matt. It truly inspired me. I purchased your Whole Enchilada Bundle.
This will be my first cabinet build. Of course I will be modifying the plans slightly for the space on my wall. My plan is to use 2 recessed French cleats anchored into 4 studs.
You did a great job with the plans. And I love how you included the diagrams at the end showing about how the cuts would line up with the sheets of plywood so that I can plan my cuts efficiently.
You gave the length of the screws. But, being my first build, Do you use #8 screws on the cabinet? And what screw should I use for the French cleats into the studs?
That’s bloody awesome man! Totally inspiring! Another great vid
Thank you Paul 🙌
The world's dullest forstner bit... 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Great build - can't wait to adapt it to my shop!
Ha! Thanks man. Hope you get it done! 🙌
9:30 - First time I have seen that type of Dominos in the shop!😁 I love this! Guess I need to go buy more plywood!
🤣🤣🤣 yeah well it wasn't the fun kind of dominos!
Really excellent organiser and video - thanks for sharing!!!
Thanks!
Nice! I'm adding your drill storage to the bottom of my shelf.
Woo hoo
This is exactly what I’ve been looking for. Simple and cost effective.
great job thanks much!
Organização perfeita!
Very nice 👍
i never thought i would find someone that has more drills and impact drivers than me 😂
It's my secret shame.... Well, it WAS my secret shame 🤣🤣🤣
Great video and super nice cabinet. I think I need one. Thanks for the idea.
Thanks Dennis! I have plans available if you need them!
Really like your method of building the drill holding rack out of wood strips rather than using 2"-3" pvc pipe. I will build a drill rack like that in the future.
Awesome
Best one I've seen yet
Just got mine finished up messed up some of my ply so I had to add an extra trip into the plan but all in all very simple build and now my wife can stop telling me to find a place for my shit 😂 Awesome video man.
Nicely designed and well presented.
Thank you!
Awesome man. Hopefully one day Ill build one.
I keep looking at my station and thinking it needs to be updated. Thanks for the kick in the pants!
Happy to help motivate 🤣🤣
What kind of TH-cam Award do you have on the wall.
You have a lot of nice equipment to use for this project. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome video as always, Matt!
Thank you Thomas!
Amazing work. I subscribed 😊
Sweet build!
Ha yep 👍
Do you have a tutorial on how to build your Kreg jig case?? You showed a glipse of it and I want one!
Just found you. Love it! Great job explaining your buildout. Thank you 🇺🇸
Awesome! Glad you're here!
It turned out great. Love it. 😍
Thanks!
Cool I need to build something like this. My shop is a mess right now
It was a quick build!
I love the build, but is it a good idea to conceal the wires from the chargers that much? They draw very little current, even with a battery in place, but it still seems like a mildly risky mixture of heat and wood. That said I will be building something very similar for my shop soon.
thumbs up for a fellow cards fan!
Go Cards!
Looks amazing
Beautiful! This would take me a week to build…. 😅
Nah it's really not that hard to build.
Hope 1 day you will also sell Softgle comfort as this is very in demand items ow. Yesterday I tried to purchase from the nearby shops at my place but its out of stock. So I guess this item is always sold out. Hope when I visit your shop I can buy one.
great video, which brand do you recommend for edge banding?
Well done ! 👏👍💪🔥
👍
Perfection! 😍
🙌
Beautiful work.
Thank you Electrician Ron!
Well done sir!
Worlds Dullest Forstner... LOL! I Hear Ya!! Excellent Video and Great Work!
Great ideas! Thanks 😊
Thank you brother!
Loved this video thank you. Where can I purchase the fold out “table“ legs you used at the beginning. They’re brilliant!
There's a link in the description! It's called a Centipede
@@MWAWoodworks thank you so much! I’ll use that link. :)
Fantastic!
Nice and Easy.
That is a fantastic build. I was wonder what exactly are those storage bins called. I am looking for the exact same thing to reorganize my shop as well. I cannot seem to find them on amazon.
The link to them is in the description 👍
Very inspired by your work, this will give me ideas for when I get my Woodshop going, my nickname Woodshop Jeff.
Love it Jeff!
Do you have a video on how you made the kreg jig box?
Only concern I can really see is the false wall encasing the surge protector/power strip used to power the battery chargers. If there is ever an issue or emergency, that could be problematic. Personally, I would use a hinge on one side and just sandwich the other to keep it looking nice, but would give access to that power source is needed. Otherwise, beautiful and simple build. I'd like to incorporate this into my own work area. Great job.
Yeah that would be a good idea 🙂
Great ideas
I would like to do the same but I would like doors, could you share how to?
Love it good job
more team red and less team yellow! ;0) I was wondering what you were going to use the pull saw for. Nice!
I'm slowly changing over 🤣
LOVE this!!!! BTW, what was the yellow thing you used when youwere using the table saw? I did not see it listed.
Microjig push block
Cubs fan here .. still think you did a nice job, StL fan. =)
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Love those hardware bins!! Can you share with us where on Amazon you found them?? Or the brand name!?!?
Already a link in the description!
Really cool
great video
Plus tell me about our clamp rack.
This is a cool shelf. Maybe one day I'll have $10,000+ in fancy tools in my shop too. 🤞 Great video.
It doesn't happen overnight. If you buy $2000 of tools a year, that's only 5 years, which will go by in a blink of an eye :)
You could always get yourself a TH-cam channel and start creating content! Before you know it you'll be collecting tools from sponsors and building a beautiful collection of tools for yourself. You could also be opt to become an Amazon reviewer and collect some of those Chinese branded tools. If you create a video making a charging station such as this using lower end tools and very few fancy schmancy type tools, and i your video is much slower with not such high expectations from your viewers, I think I might also try to build a great charging station with you!
I love this build, it's gorgeous, I may even be drooling a little 😝 but this is so out of my league. I'll never have the tools used in making this video, nor would I want to. I couldn't justify owning them. However I do have many drills and other battery powered tools that I would like to organize. I guess I'll look for a more beginner friendly build, or perhaps head on over to Amazon to purchase my very own charging station to get better organized. First I'll look for an affiliate link.
I really did enjoy this video, but something like this is just out of my reach, unless of course I buy it instead!
Great job!! Where do you source your pre finished ply from?
Nashville Plywood Co
Awesome!!!
Great video what's the make of your set-blocks and where are they from
There's a link to them in the video description 👇👇👇
Looks good!
Thanks!
I need this but attached to a rolling tool box bottom
Thank you for this Video Matt!
Question… what’s the expandable table legs called you use for your track saw? Also what is the pad called you add on top to use as a top?
Thank you!
It's called a Centipede. I think there is a link to it in the description of several of my TH-cam cabinet videos. The pink stuff is house foam insulation board.
@@MWAWoodworks thank you 🙏
That pre finished plywood has gotten real pricey around here!
Yes! It's almost $100 here in Nashville!
1:55 What is that Kreg jig box/jig? have a video on it?
Good Show kind Sir.
Thank you!
Awesome cabinet sir! How deep did you make it? Looks like the same depth as your cabinets. I caught your video just in time for my cabinet build and have been tossing around optimal cabinet/bench top depth, but just can't seem to decide on depth for the two.
Yep same depth as the other cabinets (minus the face frame)
Look's great! What is the Milwaukee drill stored all the way to the right?
A brad nailer 😂😂
What is the expandable table base and where did you get it? That's an awesome idea!
Link in the description 😃
Hey my friend I see you have a disc Sander in your shop have you ever thought about making one of them downdrafts sanding tables that would be very interesting to see you make just another idea for you
Good idea 👍
@@MWAWoodworks your welcome boss man
What is that contraption you use under your foam board when ripping ply!? I need that!!
A Centipede. Link is in the description
My OCD Jenga is very happy with this project…. 🤓😂
Glad I could help 🤗
Great video and editing. Maybe add some background music to make for a more professional video. Overall A++
Wait! There IS background music! 🤣🤣🤣
Great build Matt!! New subscriber here! Was that plywood prefinished?
Yep!
@@MWAWoodworks where do you buy that?
Nashville Plywood Co
@@MWAWoodworks thanks!
Were the Tapcon screws used in hollow block? Or are the block filled with concrete?
Hollow block however solid mortar as well as solid ribs between the hollow spaces
3:09
Yellow tool, whats the name of it?
How it works?
what is that angle drill you use called
How much to make one for me don't have all tools like u
When breaking down plywood what on earth was the crisscross table legs you used that expanded???
A centipede. There's a link in the description if you want to check it out
What tape measure is that?
what i like is your bora centipede
That's what I like too 🙂
Do you have plans for the charging and tool organization
Yes. Link is in the description!
You need all those tools to make sll the storage to keep all the tools in.
What is that plywood called? I never see it all smooth and finished at Menards.
It's pre-finished plywood. I doubt Menards would carry it.
hello, is the plan only in imperial units or did you think of us Europeans as well and it is also in the metric system? :)
No sir, not enough demand to pay to have my plans redrawn in metric. Sorry! Perhaps one day when I am a larger.
Would you please come and make this for my garage, oh by the way, I live in Australia
I have 3 power drills and its already too much in my humble opinion lol
