It teaches you how to create a deeper connection using your own body weight therefore is a great complement to the sliders as it mixes things up so the Abs don’t get comfortable to one movement. Hopefully that makes sense.

Will this pike movement develop the abs faster than a pike with sliders (a non Pilates tool)?

I don't own chair yet but I am 5'4" 68 years young, will this machine lean out my legs and abs? Always carried more weight in butt and legs.
With consistency and depending on your bodies genetics using the Pilates equipment can sculpt out the overall body.
Do I need to do any sort of warm up before this workout?
You shouldn’t have to but if you feel like your body might need a few minutes of a warm-up then I would recommend taking the time to do one.
