When I get a new deck I like to do a side by side card comparison against my trad RWS deck so I can note the sames and mostly the differences in my journal, along with anything else that comes up especially ones that may not follow as closely as lots I'm finding lately are "loosely RWS based" p.s. I just got Ember and Aura and can't wait ❤ Be well
It's Forest of Enchantment. :-) You can blame Llewellyn for the confusion, as they put the wrong name on the book! But by any name, it's always fun to watch you working with it. We (Meraylah and I) are currently working on a Forest of Enchantment Oracle, too!
Hehe oh good, I'm glad its not just me. I think it's because it's one of those decks that I actually use the guidebook quite often so I always see that title and then have to remind myself: no that's not right! 🙂 It's such a treasure to work with, I love the depth and versatility. Oh that's so exciting about the oracle! I'll definitely keep an eye out for that! Thank you for watching. ❤️
For me, my decks have all different characters. I definitely do personify them. I have the feeling that way I can connect better to them. And as people are speaking and behaving differently so do the decks. I always think of my decks as a story in a picture book. The story about life itself. It's always the same story but told and shown differently by each deck. As 10 people always describe the same situation in 10 different ways. It's totally fascinating to me. Love this topic. You're doing a great job 😀
I really enjoyed the way you approached this topic... it is hard to explain, but I think you showed what a wide variety of 'personalities' decks can have!
I wasn't even entirely sure what I was going to say when I sat down! I just figured I'd ramble and hope something worthwhile comes out because it's such a hard thing to articulate into words. 🙂 Thank you for watching. ❤️
I bust out the Barbara Walker Tarot when I’ve been pushing shit down…when I’ve been upset & let it go or put it aside in my mind…when I feel like I’ve lost my voice, to myself especially. I don’t know if it makes sense…but she calls me out & puts everything into words & I just let it all flow… but in an empowering way! I have been wanting The Forest of Enchantment & Greenwitch I think it’s called…I just wasn’t sure which. I’ve been leaning more towards Forest of Enchantment because of the various ages & I need a deck that won’t let me hide or sugar coat anything. I love my Modern Spellcasters also & think of it pretty much the same way lol…I swear I feel the same about my Morgan Greer! I never knew my real father besides pics & meeting in person once when I was 9 & never again. He looked like the dude working with the mustache too! It felt so familiar like I must have seen it or held it before in my life…I was born in the spirit of ‘76 baby! This is one of my favorite videos you have created! I always want to pick your brain! I just feel like I always understand what you are saying & u help me understand a lot…I feel your vibe! You know if I have a question your the first person that pops in my head…I think it’s because I feel like your part of my little spiritual fam, like someone I can trust & gets what I’m trying to say every-time…I don’t feel silly or like the stuff I’m nervous about is not a big deal…I’m the only one that’s into any type of thing like reading cards here, my grandma was the only other person within friends or family so when she died I felt like I would never be understood again. Okay woah that shit went deep fast for me lol! I was just gonna say I loved this video lol!
I am so glad you enjoyed it and that my thoughts resonate with you too! I have the same experiences with the Barbara Walker, it's my truth teller! Thank you for watching. ❤️
I so agree with you. Different decks have different "characters", nuances. I do a great deal of journaling with my decks and ALWAYS work with the card on the paper with me, its an energy thing. That's how I bond with the cards. I talk, they talk!! 🙃💜🤗
This is so interesting, thank you. I compare decks to books - they're only ink and paper, too, after all (or e-ink), but they have their own voices and personalities. Personifying a deck is just a metaphor for how we react to it. It's also my experience that different decks give different kinds of readings. After a while, I know that a reading with the Housewives Tarot will give me snarky answers, which is sometimes what I need, but if I need a reassuring deck, I won't choose it. Thank you for this video.
Personally, I try not to personify my decks too much. I view my decks as text, first; tech, second. I learn more about the deck's 'thesis' and/or 'argument,' if it has one, and then, I'll assign it to whatever I would want to use it for. And, of course, that assignment can change anytime. I plan to talk about this more in-depth, someday, but the Zombie Tarot, for example, is a Cold War text; I use it for tense situations that need a little lightening up or smoothing out. Although, I've had a hard time reaching for it in the last few weeks, based on current events. It seems like we--including lots of folks in the comments--use similar approaches, but different language, which I can very much appreciate. 🤖🖤 As always, thanks for sharing your experiences!
I do personify my decks, too. When I get a new deck, I look at the cards several times, I (most of the times) mod the deck and I always read the whole guidebook before I start using it. I do a deck interview before I use it for a couple of weeks or a month to get to know it. And I enjoy this whole bonding phase with a deck so much. Of course I think about how a deck would fit in my collection before I buy it, I watch walkthroughs and I think about what season I'd like to work with it and what oracle I could pair it with. But after working with a deck for some weeks, using it for daily readings, I start to 'understand' the deck and it's personality and energy and how I can best work with it.
This is an incredibly interesting video. I tend to personify my decks as well, for example my Tarot of a Hidden Realm and my Tarot of a Witches Garden, both decks are incredibly deep and emotive and they encourage me to go inwards, and they both take me on a journey where I meet different characters along the way. However, both decks have different personalities, The Characters within the Tarot of a witches garden feel more familiar, they appear throughout the cards, and at the start of the book we come to find that our magician, is our guide through the witches garden, she’s going to hold our hand, giving the deck a very gentle, supportive energy, like a close friend whose going to hold your hand and give you sage advice. Whereas the characters in the Tarot of a Hidden Realm feel more mysterious, like you’ve got to dig a bit deeper to get to know them.
So much yes! I brought the Forest of Enchantment based on its forest images and expected that it would be a grounding soothing deck that I could use in high energy times as an anchor, but I soon learned that this deck didn't really occupy earth energy, its very Water element, and you described that so well. It's oftentimes almost illusory, and really picks up on what is hidden in the shadow. It has a very specific style that is great for helping you understand your own illusions. Another great video 💗
I had the exact same thoughts when I first got it. I thought it was going to be a hug deck, but it's so much deeper and darker than that! Thank you for watching. ❤️
I'm just starting to learn and I'm taking lots of notes on each card in a big sketchbook. I've been thinking I should look at the same card in each of the decks I have to intuit the differences. This has inspired me to take the time to do it!
That's a wonderful a practice, I did the same when started working with different decks. It will really help you broaded your understanding of each card. Thank you for watching. ❤️
I too, personify my decks. This was a great video and I think you explained your thoughts perfectly. I passed on my Morgan Greer because it was to bossy, it told me what to do vs working with me to find out what I should do. The voice that came with the Morgan Greer was very "toxic masculine". Again, this is how the energy was for me. Tarot of the Gnomes is one of my decks with a very sarcastic sense of humor. It is however a clear reader, kind of like a Lenormand deck in a way. It is so interesting how a voice of a deck changes from person to person. Tarot is the best!
I agree, tarot is the best!! I have had that experience with a deck before too (not my Morgan Greer but another) it seemed to have hostile masculine energy and I just couldn't deal with. It's so facilitating how the same deck can read so differently for people. Thank you for watching. ❤️
Excellent explanation! I have the same experience. The art on the cards is different and it evokes different feelings and thoughts, so each deck has its own unique characteristics. I like to compare decks to books. Let's imagine a bunch of different writers wrote "the same" novel. By "the same" I mean that it has exactly the same plot, the same characters, and even exactly the same general themes are discussed. But because every author has a different style of writing, our experience as readers of reading those books would be completely different. Moreover, all the small details and nuances could add up to even completely different interpretations. For example, one author could make us empathize with the villain, creating an image of a complex human being who is struggling to act right because of their character flaws or because the world isn't black and white, while the other author could focus heavily on the evil that they cause and the suffering of other characters. Cards act in the same way. The artwork influences my experience of working with them and it shifts interpretations into different directions. Loved this video! 💜
I do exactly the same thing. I know they are paper and ink however they all carry within them a different energy for me. All artwork emotes different feelings for me. Perspective and perception are so individual. This is why I never look at the way one person reads the cards as right or wrong, but rather whether or not the way they read is right or wrong for my preference. This was so wonderfully expressed.
Due to this video I got interested in the Forest Of Enchantment. I had always perceived it as just another nature deck but taking a closer look revealed that that isn‘t what it is at all and I agree it has quite a shadowy dimension to it, which I love. I sometimes struggle with reading rather light-hearted/challenging cards in a negative/positive position of a spread. Usually, I will then use the shadow meaning of a card but often that doesn‘t feel quite right. I would really love to hear about your perspective on this and how you deal with that so maybe this would be an idea for one of your future videos.
I'll make a note of it, that would be a great video. The Forest of Enchantment is a wonderful deck, I don't think people realize just how deep it can be. Thank you for watching. ❤️
I think you did a fine job explaining how you relate to the different decks while still keeping in mind the RWS basic meaning. I have 4 Llewellyn decks, and I have classified them by the elements. Mystical Cats is my air deck (all those fangs and claws). Green Witch is my water deck (best for tender feelings); Forest of Enchantment is the fire deck (the Ace of Spells wyvern personifies the deck for me). And Everyday Witch is my Earth deck, because it seems very practical, to me. Also have Modern Love and Modern Witch for that more contemporary vibe. Modern Love is probably also a heart deck, yet it has some quite tough emotions depicted, so it can hit hard. Just got Modern Witch, so I'm still exploring its vibe, but much of the fun of tarot seems to be the way artists and writers can find so many ways to adapt RWS imagery and meaning for new but related slants echoing the original. Fascinating 🙃 Didn't realize there's a Hanged Man emoji 🙂
I love these convos :) my first thought of the Forest of Enchantment eight of swords was that something terrible was happening in front of her, and she is essentially forced to cover her eyes. or at the very least she is compelled to cover her eyes for some reason. Even though there’s nothing to indicate that there is something terrible around her. it makes me think of the reasons why someone would be blinded, perhaps it’s an automatic response
Every one of my decks definitely has its own unique personality. Whenever I get a new tarot deck, I like to look at it and ask myself, "What does this make me think of?" For instance, the characters depicted in the Tarot of Vampyres feel like ancient wise creatures who are here to teach me things.
That's interesting about the Tarot if Vampyres, I just got that one not too long ago and haven't gotten a chance to get to know it yet. Looking forward to it though! Thank you for watching. ❤️
I feel the same way about my Forest of Enchantment tarot. It's one of my absolute favorite decks, but I can't use it all the time. It really tells me what I need to hear, even to the point of tears sometimes. I didn't buy it intending to use it for shadow work, but that seems to be where it fits in my practice. I really enjoyed this video! Thanks for sharing your perspective!
I am so glad you enjoyed it. I bought the Forest of Enchantment was going to be a hug deck when I first got it, I never expected it to be so dark and deep. Thank you for watching. ❤️
I got this deck a few weeks back to get back into it and even though I completely understand the feelings other get from it, the first 3 times a card either fell out or I picked one, it was the 3 of visions (aka 3 of cups), and my interview with them gave me such soft, tender, warm answers, I felt instantly safe. I think maybe my default tarot work is shadow work because I expect to be confronted with my most buried self when using tarot.
@@marlyd I feel similar as well. It makes me feel safe but, I think why it makes me feel so emotional, is because it does shine light on those things I don’t want to see myself, those shadows…covered in spider webs. And I find, it does it consistently with every reading in such a beautiful way. When I’m ready to hear those things, it’s definitely my go to deck. ❤️
One of my favorite videos coz I understand what you're saying about personifying your decks! Very informative and found some decks to add to my list of wants! Thanks!
I have been working with Tarot now for 9 months. I agree each deck has a personality to it and I work with my decks based on how I feel at that moment and the question I have. I did my first deck mod after watching some of your videos. 😁 It is the Everyday Witch Tarot and I used sharpie to color the sides in a blue color that compliments the back of the cards. It looks awesome actually. Since the deck backs are a darker blue and not a lot of light color on the front I didn’t have too many mishaps. I keep alcohol swabs on hand and on the cards I had a marker line on, since the fronts are a slick texture, I just rubbed the marker off with the alcohol swab and then wipe the card on a cloth. I wouldn’t do that on any deck without a somewhat glossy type finish or one of my indie decks. ☀️☀️☀️
It's so true, they do (and I do the same, always have just out of habit, by feel, etc) I also did some mods thanks to Dawn! Going to do some more with metallic Sharpies on glossy stock like you did and hope they do as well 😊❤
Thanks for the video! At first I was feeling kind of embarrassed for personifying my decks because of people always around me saying “They're just tools, inanimate objects” which is true (but kind of exhausting reading it from day to day) but personifying my decks added that kind of fun in my practice with tarot and by personifying them I know what decks I will reach out to for what kind of readings I want to do. It is more clear for me in that way. That's just how the variety in art, that we are supposed to work with in these specific topic, works 😊. At least for me.
I think that it really adds a deeper layer to my practice and I enjoy interacting with their different "personalities". You are definitely not alone, a ton of us personify our decks. 🙂 Thank you for watching. ❤️
Thanks for addressing this topic. I really enjoyed hearing your POV on using different artwork within the overall system of tarot. My practice is very similar as I also personify my decks for different practices, moods, and needs. Yes, they are paper and ink in consensus reality yet within a psychospiritual reality they are so much more!
🏆 So well done. Please rewatch this to deepen your connection to your deck and to develop your reading skills. This is priceless guidance and instruction. I'm really enjoying and appreciating these videos. Thank you for them.
Dawn Would you be interested in taking part in a YT discussion on my channel discussing the different genres of traditional and modern contemporary tarot decks? I’m looking to have a few other guests to take part in this discussion. Take a look at my previous community posts to see my announcement about this discussion.
I personify things. The other day I said the trees were shaking in the wind like they were scared. (They weren't whipping around in the wind they were shaking really fast, like shivering.) Anyway, I'm also an animist. (Idk if that's the world for someone who believes in animism) So I do think everything had a soul. I think there is an over-arching "tarot soul" and individual decks have their own souls, or spirits or whatever. So there's that! Lol.
Actually, this was very interesting and helpful. It made a lot of sense and it was great to get a window on your particular personifications of those decks!
I personify my decks as well. The Zombie tarot is one of my favorite decks, and it's always felt a bit snarky/sarcastic to me, but it's also a reliable, straight-forward reader. I have decks I go to when I need a gentler approach (Lightseer's, Everyday Witch) and decks that are more than happy to give me a metaphorical punch in the face (Les Vampires oracle, Murder of Crows tarot).
Wonderful explanation, its a very personal connection each reader has with their decks. I love the thoughtful way you have verbalised your experiences. I havent got to the stage of personifying any decks but i think that may come with time. However i do pull decks depending on how i feel and how the deck feels like it will respond to me for example if im feeling fragile and need a bit of gentle loving advice i might go for the Light Seers or the Green Witch but if im desperate for an answer on a deep seeded issue that has got my goat i might pull a more challenging deck like the Clover Tarot, Tarot of the Abyss or a traditional Rider Waite deck. If i want to read for someone and get a really good reading i might go for a clear reader like the Spellcasters tarot or the Witches Tarot. I think youve described your process really well. Thank you for sharing 😘
That was a very interesting video and I really enjoyed watching it. I think on some level we often project onto our decks either aspects of our own personality (may that be the “nurturing” or “sassy” aspect for example,”) or our needs ( the need for healing or humor in a situation)
I loved this. I remember many conversations we have had about the personality of decks. Yes they are paper and yes they have distinct attitudes to me, both things are true. ha ha ha. I was thinking of doing the sharp shooters deck VR as well. thank you Dawn.
I absolutely love how your decks always seem to read when you do side by sides or pair them - it always seems so perfect. Loved this video, and totally get what you were saying about personifying your decks - you explained it wonderfully. Thank you for sharing😊
I am so glad it made sense, I wasn't sure exactly how to approach this topic. They do behave quite well for me on camera, it's like they are showing off! 😁 Thank you for watching. ❤️
Thank you for the video! It helped me understand a bit more what people meant when they would post about x deck not holding punches or something like that. It also made me realize that I personify at least some of my decks! I thought of the Pole Ka tarot that I noted to someone when I first saw pictures of it that it looked like it would give you sarcastic, dark humour and sharp type of answers....I got it and I haven't even opened the box yet and I still think it'll be sarcastic! Lol Then there's my Lo Scarabeo deck that I call Chatty Chatty or Miss Chatty Chatty, because cards will fly out without fail as I'm shuffling, and I'm not that clumsy of a shuffler! It's like that deck throws out cards conversation style, like we're having a chat. Also my Ostara deck I've nicknamed the Justice deck because when I did an interview spread with it, Justice and Judgement came out as well as the Queen of Swords and a handful of swords cards... So yeah, I do personify my decks and in a sense, that's how they read as well! It was a great video :)
That's awesome, I think it really added a wondt layer to working with tarot to explore the different energies or "personalities" of each deck. Thank you for watching. ❤️
@@DawnMichelleTarot You Aced it Do you think maybe you could do something like this but reading using numerology. I bought the Wooden Tarot tonight but I get hung up with Numerology of 6s and 8s for some reason
I am hoping to continue this series with a discussion on how I read the individual cards as well, so keep an eye out for that this eyar hopefully. 🙂 Thank you for watching. ❤️
Interesting video! It's great that you present such a range of topics on your channel! As for your question, most of us probably "know" the right deck to work with based on the factors you mentioned - I have a few decks that love to send me jumpers before I've even finished focusing; a few that love to poke me in the eye, always; a few that politely trick me into looking at things differently, etc. Or maybe that's what I tell myself to justify having them! Appreciate all the thought, time and effort you put into your presentations!
Great explanation on energy of Tarot decks. Oracle decks being unique work within that deck creator's mind, don't have a "one size fits all" Rider Waite base line. Nevertheless, on the whole they seem to link with some multi-universe information source which that deck creator has had access to. Personality-wise they do seem to indicate which Tarot deck they would be good to work with, as you often show in your videos. I find they amplify the message, artwork and interpretation of the Tarot and at the same time, encourage more interest in their own area. For example using gemstone cards with a Tarot deck, I found myself intrigued to find out how many valuable qualities such as healing, they actually have.
I love this video! I'm gonna do a VR, y'know, at SOME point 😂 but it's really interesting to hear your reflections. I've tried a number of approaches and I've found that while I always think of decks as people, some decks really do just start to speak to me in a specific way that is hard to describe, and those are the ones I start thinking of more like "ah, this is a close friend" or "this is grandmother deck" etc. And the more I lean into that, the more beautiful the practice becomes. Though with some decks it's more like... I don't know how to say this exactly, but they're kind of channels for an energy that isn't the deck itself, but the deck is part of that energy? So concrete example, I've had the Muse Tarot forever, never really read with it, and then in starting to explore a relationship with Venus I was going through some stuff and wanted a tarot deck to speak with her and the Muse found its way into my hands. And when I opened the box and saw that the backs are almost identical to an altar cloth that kept calling my name in investigating a Venus altar I was like "OH. Yeah okay." 😂 And it reads fucking phenomenally for this specific work but it's like... become a part of the Venus archetype, almost like one of her faces, rather than it being its own thing kind of.
I think I know what you mean, I have some decks that function in that way too. I would love it if you did a VR! I would love to hear more about how people interpret the energies of their decks. 😁
Thank you for this I had not worked with my Forest of Enchantment Tarot for awhile but I did get it out again. Have you ever seen or have the Tarot of the Holy Spectrum? I did not know how I would work with it but it is a deck I reach for allot and it speaks to me on a level no other deck has. Love and Light to you and your family and fur babies.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on your decks. I really appreciate your videos. I have the White Sage Tarot. I find I best use it when I have questions regarding my children. I have used the Forest of Enchantment as shadow work. The zombie tarot is so much fun for me but it gives me honest answers and doesn't hold back. I am not sure about the morgan gareer tarot deck. I still haven't found a place for it yet. I do want to get the ember and aura tarot as well as future ancestors tarot. one of the tarot decks that surprised me is the Everyday Enchantment tarot. it has huge obnoxious boarders . I LOVE the deck. I am not quit fond of the art work either. I have gotten solid reads and hard truths out of it. I absolutely love reading with it. the boarder and art work don't bother me anymore. This is my "friend who i accept just as they are" deck. :0)
I have TRIED twice the Modern Spellcasters Tarot, but something about the suit of Pentacles turns me off. It's dark to me and does not have the grounded effulgence I like with Pentacles. I think I'm going to give in and rehome it!
I was gifted this deck by an amazing TH-camr, and let me tell you the type of reading it gave one of my clients, He told me that he didn’t really know anything about tarot but that he was intrigued and didn’t have a question in particular but to just give him a general reading, I told him there is a little girl who really wants me to acknowledge her, and he said, excuse me? I repeat myself and said, she’s adamant that you give her the attention she demands, and is your wife expecting a second child? He was blown away, he said it, nobody knows about that little girl! She is my secret love child!!! The baby on the way I didn’t know about, I’m newly wed, I said check with your wife then, he did and she confirmed she was pregnant. He was in a bind cause the love child’s mother was taking him to child support court. So he was flabbergasted to say the least. He said I don’t know how you found out all of that stuff about me, but my respects. To me this deck has crone energy, very motherly. She’s kind but also tells you what you need to hear. I love this deck for family readings.
Do you have any equivalent oracle decks? As of now I just go with what I was working on at the time that I was drawn to the deck for example divine circus for my beginning of shadow work or inner child. And I have a duck that specific to energies but then I have decks that I’m not sure where they fit or what to do with them so would love any insight
When I was a teenager, learning to type... I remember often thinking that the letter e was stuck up. Lol. My brain personifies pretty much everything. Tbh... i think it's normal but we teach ourselves not to do it because it seems "weird."
I personify all kinds of things too. I also talk to things, my computer, the tv, car lol. I probably sound like I'm off my rocker some days. 🙂 Thank you for watching. ❤️
In the forest in enchantment deck. Can you help me do you know what the Faery Wind is compared to a traditional tarot deck? And same with the forged in fire meaning? Don’t have the book and can’t find those cards when I searched it. Thanks so much :)!
Enchanted Forest taps into universal subconscious archetypes, great deck

It seems like we--including lots of folks in the comments--use similar approaches, but different language, which I can very much appreciate. 🤖🖤 As always, thanks for sharing your experiences!
That is really cool. Just a different way of expressing how we work with each deck. I like it! Thank you for watching. ❤️
I have a pretty similar process and I always enjoy getting to know a new deck.
Thank you for watching. ❤️
I love the way you put words on something I do intuitively without being able to explain it. Thank you! 😁💛
Hehe I had no idea what I was gonna say when I sat down! I'm so glad it made some sense. 🙂 Thank you for watching. ❤️
That’s so cool, I always love to hear about how people personify (or don’t) their decks. For me, it’s really helpful to connect with them. 💚
That is such a great way to look at it! I often compare my decks to book as well. Thank you for watching. ❤️
I agree, no right or wrong way because it's all viewed through our own personal lens. Thank you for watching. ❤️
I have lots of elemental decks as well, love tapping into those unique energies as well. Thank you for watching. ❤️
I get the same kinds of feelings from the Morgan-Greer Tarot. Very paternal, fatherly.
I think of lot of us have that connection to that decks it's so cool. Thank you for watching. ❤️
@@DawnMichelleTarot It's one of my absolute favorite decks. I hope you enjoy spending time with it.
Going to do some more with metallic Sharpies on glossy stock like you did and hope they do as well 😊❤
I love the personalities that comes through the decks. So glad you enjoyed your first mod, it's such a fun process! Thank you for watching. ❤️
Thank you for watching.
That they are! I love the deeper layer it adds to my practice. Thank you for watching. ❤️
🏆 So well done.
Please rewatch this to deepen your connection to your deck and to develop your reading skills. This is priceless guidance and instruction.
I'm really enjoying and appreciating these videos.
Thank you for them.
I loved this video! pls do more of these, clicked so much for me, especially when comparing to Rider Waite
Oh I’m so glad you enjoyed it!

Would you be interested in taking part in a YT discussion on my channel discussing the different genres of traditional and modern contemporary tarot decks?
I’m looking to have a few other guests to take part in this discussion.
Take a look at my previous community posts to see my announcement about this discussion.
I'd have to check my schedule and see how my health is, but I'll definitely check it out! 🙂
@@DawnMichelleTarot Thank you, Dawn.
Let me know when you see time opening for you.
Of course, please take care of YOU. 😊🕯✨
I personify things. The other day I said the trees were shaking in the wind like they were scared. (They weren't whipping around in the wind they were shaking really fast, like shivering.)
Anyway, I'm also an animist. (Idk if that's the world for someone who believes in animism) So I do think everything had a soul.
I think there is an over-arching "tarot soul" and individual decks have their own souls, or spirits or whatever.
So there's that! Lol.
Loved your relatable reads on energies of certain decks💯% You had me at mustaches though😂
I don’t know… but the knight of pentacles riding on a giant squirrel is pretty funny.😉
That it is! 🙂 Thank you for watching. ❤️
Actually, this was very interesting and helpful. It made a lot of sense and it was great to get a window on your particular personifications of those decks!
I am so glad you enjoyed it and that it made some sense. Thank you for watching. ❤️
I love that different decks have different "attitudes" it really adds a wonderful layer to the practice. Thank you for watching. ❤️
I am so glad it made sense and that you enjoyed it. Thank you for watching. ❤️
They really do! I'd love to see your sharp shooters, I hope you get a chance to do that tag. Thank you for watching. ❤️
Thanks for sharing your insight. I could never connect with the Morgan Greer deck. I enjoyed watching and hearing about your perspective.
I am so glad you enjoyed it. I resisted the Morgan Greer for a long time, now I love it. Thank you for watching.
Lol
Then there's my Lo Scarabeo deck that I call Chatty Chatty or Miss Chatty Chatty, because cards will fly out without fail as I'm shuffling, and I'm not that clumsy of a shuffler!
Such a great video! There are so many varations within a reading depending on the deck. You explained this so well.
I am so glad you enjoyed it (and that it made sense!) I wasn't entire sure how to approach such a huge topic. Thank you for watching. ❤️
Great video on a fascinating topic.
Love and totally agree with your point of view!
I am so glad you enjoyed it! 🥰
Thanks so much. This was really helpful.
You did a superb job explaining , made it very clear for me. Thank you . I do personify my decks. Each deck provides a unique energy
I am so glad, I wasn't entirely sure how to approach such a huge topic.
Great video! I feel the same way about the Green Witch Tarot and Forest of enchantment:)
Glad I'm not the only one! Thank you for watching.
I'm so glad you enjoy my videos! I love that decks really seem to "come to life" as we work with them. Thank you for watching. ❤️
They certainly do, I have certain oracle decks that feel like they almost demand to work with a particular tarot. Thank you for watching. ❤️
Loved this video!
Zombie deck is my go to for reads about current events lol
Its a straight shooter with no added drama despite the zombies 😆
Oh I could see that being the perfect deck for current events! It's one of my favorites too. Thank you for watching. ❤️
This has been a really interesting video. I do much the same with my own decks, but I love hearing other perspectives and ideas.
I think it really added a wonderful layer to the practice. Thank you for watching. ❤️
I really enjoyed this subject! Thank you
I am so glad you enjoyed it.

I have seen that one but I don't personally have it. I do think the concept of that deck is really cool. Thank you for watching. ❤️
I definitely needed this! Thank you so much ❤️

Thank You Dawn Michelle

I love that! I have a few decks that I just accept as they are too. I'm so glad you enjoyed the video. Thank you for watching. ❤️
I have TRIED twice the Modern Spellcasters Tarot, but something about the suit of Pentacles turns me off.
It's dark to me and does not have the grounded effulgence I like with Pentacles.
I think I'm going to give in and rehome it!
I could see that with the pentacle suit in that deck. I don't use mine too often but I do find it be a good reader for me. Thank you for watching. ❤️
How interesting! I love the different energies of the decks. Thank you for watching. ❤️
I tend to just use whatever oracle deck fits the type of reading I'm doing and compliments the tarot deck I'm using. Thank you for watching. ❤️
The Faery Wind is the Chariot traditionally and the Forge is Temperance (if I can remember off the top of my head.) Hope that helps!
@@DawnMichelleTarot you are so kind to reply. Thank you!! :)
I was born in 1968! Lol I’m 10 years older then you. I see the 70’s in that deck as well.
It's such a good one to represent that time. 🙂 Thank you for watching. ❤️
