- This is by far, my longest animatic to date. Im sorry it took so long and that I havent released art in 4 weeks at all, but it was to work on this! I hope you all enjoy it. I know i usually post evangelion and danganronpa, but im really proud of this one. I enjoyed utena dearly and just really wanted to make something big for it, to show my appreciation.

the funniest part for me is that several of the characters involved here- juri, touga, kozue, and debatably wakaba- are canonically gay/bi themselves.
Oh absolutely, but most of them also have internalised homophobia so heavy that if you asked them what they think of gay people they'd get so nervous they'd throw up and pass it off as disgust, so 😭😭
Thanks for blessing us with this. I consider a Gay or European? animatic a rite of passage for most fandoms. I’m glad ours is such high quality.

Why is it so funny?! I saw a lot of animatics for Gay or European song but this one is brilliant. And also I totally love how Juri is gay and other characters refer to her.

I wanted to put as much of the characters in because I think the cast of utena is so fun, and entertaining; they all deserved a spot!
And as for tsuwabuki, I am happy you think so :] it's partially because I realized nobody fit this role more than him, considering he's the only character that anthy makes a direct jest at referencing that she and utena are gay ("we do plenty of adult stuff don't we, miss utena?"
SCORE. Ok, we got the "Gay or European" animatic, now we need one for Joh Mulaney's "The One Thing You Can't Replace" bit and the fandom is officially established on TH-cam.
Don't have plans so far on making that, but im currently working on a breezeblocks animatic for utena, so hopefully if I release it, that will be enough to establish us🙏

I love Wakaba being the one to lead this and thus get all the thirstiest lines
Also Anthy getting to be all big and loud, it's really funny and I wouldn't be shocked if she set this all up because it's easier (and funnier) than actually getting Utena to admit it in a normal conversation

I WAS WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO MENTION i love this online joke where people draw komaeda appearing in spaces he shouldnt be in at random, and we all laugh (undertale, homestuck, etc) so I thought "I dont have enough ideas for random character designs, i mean, what harm could it do to make a lil funny komaeda"
