This video saved our lives today!! After getting lost trying to find a way back to the US (with no help from maps) we were able to make our way back thanks to this video!
you have no idea how helpful this is . I've gotten into centri on accident 2x already. I'm surprised there isn't more videos with directions like this !Thank you for taking the time !
@@danielrose6288 luckly , no . They will scare you and say next time this and next time that . Although, I was in a different car , Im not sure if that matters?…
Same happened to me! 2x in the same car but it happened 4 years apart haha so I guess they didn’t care. They said to not do it next time. They checked my car, made me open the trunk, and then let me through. I was kind of scared lol
Awesome video..... VERY well put together with the video VISUALS and VERY CLEAR directions - without including non-necessary or confusing details. Thank you much.
Thank you for this video. I have not driven in Tijuana in about 6 years. The last time I drove in Tijuana, I was in Colonia Libertad. I used Google Maps to get to the border and ended up being directed via the Sentri Lanes. Huge mistake. I was held for about 2 hours and warned that if I ever did it again (without a Sentri Pass) that I would be fined thousands of dollars. It was my one time warning. Since then I only walk across the border
These are great (along with your other route video). I *really* could have used these a few weeks ago when I was "Crossing North" for the first time in my car. HOWEVER, I was trying to find the READY lanes (not Sentri, not All Traffic) route because I had a Global Entry card but hadn't registered for the Sentri program yet. I found myself easily funneled into the Sentri lanes, and the other time I got funneled into the "All Traffic" lanes. Any chance you could do another video for the READY (non-Sentri) lanes route too?
If I apply for a passport card, then I can use READY lane? Do all family members in my car have to have passport cards, or just me a primary driver so my only card can be scanned at the border?
This video at 22 seconds shows the qualifying cards that the driver and all passengers need to be able to use the ready lane: th-cam.com/video/KQ9R4vhybBM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=vbmFO9UOIFfZ4lCJ
Do you have to paid for using this fast route? Some people complain about the police stopping them and charging money for that? Please let me know what is happening?
You don't need to take the international from Playas, just take la segunda (Benito Juarez) and it will take you to the same place where the lanes start. Good luck
You just need to navigate to the street at 1:40 where they show the correct lane to enter. If you type in “All Traffic (Regular Lane)” on Google Maps it should take you to that spot, then just follow the rest of the video from there
Making a left turn while the stop light is red is not legal in Mexico. There a lot of one way streets there. I have seen numerous people get pulled over by the Mexican police for making a L while the light is red.
Please don’t thank the city of tijuana this is a total MESS what they did to fix this?Absolutely NOTHING its super confusing and people get on the wrong lanes all the time to this day.I got on the sentri last time by accident next will be $5000

Do you have a video for Otay Mesa entrance to the U.S using the all traffic or general lane?

You'll be happy to know we have one for the ready lane too! th-cam.com/video/KQ9R4vhybBM/w-d-xo.html
😂😂😂❤
can you do a video coming from the south or east directions to sentri lane, not just the ocean west direction
Very helpful
If I’m in the Zona Rio area , can I just take Paseo de Los heroes north? Or do I have to head to playas de Tijuana and then come back?
Thanks!
What happens if I have a readyline and enter through all traffic? 😟
Nothing. CBP will ask you for your passport just like the readylane.
@@Inkironnrum thanks! 🤗

Yes to your first question.
All passengers in a car must have their own passport.

I hope some day Mexico improve the traffic signal in Tijuana

Took wrong turn and ended up in costa rica. Send help please

Hi question. So I went thru sentri by mistake. They got soo mad lol. What I need to be looking for is ready lanes right??
@@gabrieladeleon3830if you ever enter the sentri lane by mistake again, there is an exit on the right side where the busses enter.
