Just watching this now, but the part when Adam says "midnight society" made my day. That was what they called the club on the TV show Are You Afraid Of The Dark which is a true Canadian classic.
Im not certain if I've missed them or not, but im pretty sure Adam missed his draw step about 4 turns in a row. When he had eidolon of blossoms and starfield. He was drawing a card from the eidolon trigger, then not drawing for the turn.

I love how Cameron plays his pauper deck. My playgroup also changed to pauper because of how boring the try-hard combos were in normal EDH
Thermopod/vexing devil/blood artist effect is infinite damage with the haakon combo. The game should have ended at 1:42:00 ish. Just an fyi
The card that made creatures cards in Ben's graveyard into knights had been destroyed by that point. The Haakon combo wasn't online anymore.
as soon as the bug was revealed i saw it and thought how cool that combo was. i've never seen thermopod before and thats defintely a cool and niche 5 piece combo with haakon, thermopod, vexing devil, blood artist, and arcane adaptation.
Anyone noticed that Serge messed up at 1:28:16 on the triggers? He has search trigger first then ETB trigger after. He could have changed the game.
this is my favorite FNPF commander night. it has such good decks and so many good moments. GHOSTLY PRISON!

My playgroup finds it hilariously fun and enjoyable to have Commanders as ANY Uncommon or Common creature, while the rest of the 99 being all common, makes for fun brews with peoples favourite non legendaries as essentially legendaries.
Regardless love the game guys, Praise your lord and savior Serge, keep it up :D

Yeah Serge was supposed to search first, then draw because Conduit is a cast trigger and Discovery is ETB

I don't care about the small misplays, it's just going to happen playing unfamiliar decks live on camera for the first time, but I do just want to friendly point out at 1:28:10 Serge can (and rules-wise, should) have done the exact line he wanted, which was search for and then draw Ulamog. The search was on cast, but the draw was on ETB. Adam/Ben had him dead any way to Sunday regardless, but getting UwUmog to exile the Starfield of Nyx (and probably Adaptation) would have been a good way to go out.
Nice transition from wide to top down to ((Paul) I think.) Only 4 mins in I'm sure someone will mention it.
The trick to Cruel Lore is maintaining a midrange or control build. The goal is then to just play Living Lore with an exiled Cruel Ultimatum.
Missed opportunities time!
Ben could have used Mimic Vat to exile and create copies of any of Adam's enchantments that had been made into creatures.
For instance, any of the times Adam sacrificed Seal of Cleansing while Nyx was making it a creature, Ben could have captured it and created a copy, then sacrificed the copy to destroy Starfield of Nyx.
Serge will never not put Kitchen Finks in his commander decks, Ben making it is the only way to stop him.
Things that need to happen: Serge with a Relentless Rats commander deck, but speaking most of the time in his Mickey voice

I don't think Ben could have responded to Serge sacrificing spawns for mana? Mana abilities don't use the stack. Not that it mattered because Cameron misfired crypt rats

So obviously its easier to see lines watching videos than being in the moment but I REALLY wish Ben had Perplexed Kozilek after its trigger resolved. Wouldve been a sick play and a hell of a decision for Serge. Ive always loved Perplex and wanted to see it be good/difficult to choose

So i want to play other formats of magic but i dont have very good cards to build a commander deck and how many packs does it take for a 4 person draft
If you want to play commander don't buy boosters packs beacause you will waste 2 times the money you need to buy all the separated cards from your local game store or online.
I think you should buy a starter commander deck from the "Commander Anthology 2".
The decks are sweet and powerfull.
I've played the Ooza's deck since it came out and i never changed it (obviously i did some upgrades but i'm talking about 10 bucks)

You know the derogatory comments about Adam is becoming extremely tiresome and quite frankly you can see that it’s taken an effect on Adams mental health. Let’s not forget that while you might be acting friendly towards a streamer and that a person might not show it comments like most recent ones hurt, they erode and they can cause permanent harm. Just lay off them immediately no matter who it is
I know I'm late to these videos, but god there are soo many videos where people attack Adam trying to be funny. What the hell is that about? Maybe when it was happening live people don't notice it, but binging these old videos really makes you feel for Adam...wow.
