Man I still havent caught my big jewy,Cob …. this winter ill be sliding live mullet …I find it hard to fish mono because I loose too many small shark takes Im addicted to fish mate carbon coated its like the Ferrari of fishing wires hahah, gotta commit to the Kob I can feel those head shakes from here ….

Hi, What braid are you using to slide there? And how many lb? Are you using a mono leader because when i slide it sometimes gets stuck on the leader, how can i prevent this?

Awesome mate, I use live mullet for them in the Estuary here in South Australia,. I use a technique which incorporates a sliding float and has the livey suspended just off the bottom. Cheers.

Awesome video love your work I’m going to start using circle hooks off the beach just a quick question in relation to your drag setting due you just fish the reel with a very light dragging setting and then slowly turn your drag knob to increase pressure when you get a strike and then just begin to wind the reel handle, kind regards Dave Australia
hi when the rod is in my hand That drag is basically set to where I will fight the fish and not touch it during the fight. basically soft enough for the fish to pull line when it wants to. when it is in the sand spike it is a bit softer, soft enough for the fish to pull away till I get to the rod but not too soft so that the hook will set. once I pick the rod up I wil gradually increase the drag tension until I feel happy.
@@zoolookfishing Thanks for getting back to me I’ve caught heaps of Mulloway in Australia on bait and lures but never off the Beaches. I’m loving whole new world to explore. Love your work so fascinating the way you approach your bait using the dangles, softening the squid using latex cotton. I’ve already adopted the Dacron loop and cable tie for live bait.
