Hakeem lost 9x in the first round of the playoffs & got his 2 rings when MJ decided to bless the league with a break lol.. he's in my top 3 centers of all time & he has the best footwork ever, not just for a center.. but I give the nod to Kareem.

      Lebron led his team in every stat In 2018 and scored the second most points ever in a playoff run behind MJ but yet stats don’t matter? Lebron led the only team in NBA history to comeback from a 3-1 deficit in the finals. @belak1551 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      hahaownedXD I’ve heard it all. And I got a rebuttal for anything you try to say. And I never said stats don’t matter but you can’t rely on them to determine who’s better than who. Lebron may have better stats than Kobe but Kobe is better than Lebron in nearly every facet of the game besides shot selection. Kobes offensive arsenal is maybe 2nd to only MJ. I watch prime Kobe and prime Lebron and Kobes peak was clearly better than Lebron. Stats are for novices who don’t understand the ends and outs of the game. Hence why people like popovich, Pat Riley, Barkley and others laugh at analytics.

I follow the NBA like no other person for at least 25+ years now and just remembering like yesterday the OMFG you would get from Kobe during games. It's the same thing you said when you saw Jordan play. THe point he made about Wilt and Russell is so On Point that people tend to forget their competition and who they played against. Tim had an opportunity to prove everybody wrong when he was on the Olympic team when they won the Bronze As a captain it was on his watch with A.I. We saw Tim not be able to adjust his game to the international rules or shoot free throws. But Tim is still an all-time great.

      Seems to me like Tim Duncan kept himself out of the spotlight by his own choice. His statistics and accolades speak for themselves, he was a great basketball player. If he wanted to be talked about the way these people are talked about, he would've approached the game in a different way. My Top 5 as of November 10th, 2019
    1-Kobe Bryant
    2- Michael Jordan
    3- Tim Duncan
    4- Wilt Chamberlain
    5- Shaq
    Rest of my TOP 10
    6- Larry Bird
    7-Magic Johnson
    8- Kareem
    9- Scottie Pippen
    10- Hakeem
    TOP 10 Honorable Mentions
    Iverson, KD, Lebron, Russell Westbrook, Bill Russell, Karl Malone, Dirk, J.Kidd,
    WOULD BE IN MY TOP 10/15 if they didn’t have all the injuries, or Drug/Mental issues
    1) T-Mac (woulda been somewhere 8-10)
    2) Grant Hill ( would have been outside 10)
    3) DWade (woulda been outside top 10)
    4) Pistol Pete (idk due to drug use hard to know how good he could have been)
    5) D-Rose (Still would prob pick Westbrook ahead of him)
    6) Cweb (without injuries prob would have been top 15 or Top 20 player
    7/8) Greg Oden & Brandon Roy (who knows how good either of them would have been without injuries )
    If injuries were off, & no Mental/Drug issues, & I was selecting someone to start my team with & you get them at the beginning of their Career to play in any Era
    *Note im not including Greek Freak, Embiid in the pool of players available*
    1) Kobe
    2) MJ
    3) Bird
    4) Duncan
    5) Wilt (him & Shaq flip flop, basing having wilt ahead of Shaq based on Rumored 40yrd Dash time & Bench press Lol )
    6) Shaq
    7) T-Mac
    8) Scottie Pippen
    9) KD
    10/11) Westbrook / Iverson
    12) Kawhi
    13/14) Grant Hill/ Lebron
    15/16) C-Webb /A.Sabonis
    17) KG
    18/19) Pistol Pete/ Magic
    19/20) Hakeem / Kareem
    20/21/22) DWade /GP/ Charles Barkley
    ***Notes
    My List is very adjustable after 10/11 Lol
    ~~~A) Why Bird jumped up into the Top 3 is he would have been an incredible asset & even better in today’s NBA along with the no injury Factor, he would be the perfect Shooting PF, especially 3pt Shooter like a Way Better version of Dirk or a 10x better version of Kevin Love Lol
    ~~~B) why T-Mac jumped to into Top 10, he is an elite Offensive Player & is 6’8, he has all the Talent of a Kobe or Michael, he basically is the better version of Lebron Offensively, & T-Mac is cool not to big of an ego & can pass like an Alltime great passer as well as Being Equal to Kobe & MJ scoring the ball, as well as being an Elite Athlete, if he woulda been an all time great Defender like Kobe & MJ then he would have been right up there with them
    ~~C) Why Magic & Kareem dropped down, because they would not have been as great in today’s era due to being an inferior Athlete along with their limited Offense scoring, Cuz Kareem unlike Shaq & Wilt, he is not the Athlete that they were & unlike Tim Duncan he doesn’t have the vast Offensive scoring abilities & that’s why for 2 years in Kareem’s Prime he missed the playoffs, Cuz he is limited & had to have a guard be able to get him involved, & for MAGIC he is an Elite passer but isn’t the Athlete & isnt a Shooter, & while his passing is Elite he can be replaced by a Bird/Lebron who may not have the passing he does but are close to him in passing but are far superior in other aspects such as Shooting (Bird) & Lebron who is far superior than magic as an Athlete, Offensive Scorer etc
    ~~D)Why Lebron isn’t in the Top 10, his attitude just isn’t the kind of attitude I would want on my team, that whole if we win it’s Cuz of me & if we lose it’s Cuz my teammates, as well as his him being overrated, he hasn’t made any superstar teammates better, they all had better years without playing with Lebron, & For ppl saying Lebron is a passer he is one of the biggest All hogs ever, dribble dribble dribble wait for shot clock to go down n then shoot drive or kick it out, just so he makes sure he gets an assist if he passes, & he is too much drama especially when compared to these other guys, I might be a tiny bit blinded by my bias towards him but I for sure would never ever pick him over a Kobe, MJ, Shaq, Duncan etc!

    • @vigusdna3760
      @vigusdna3760 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Plus Lebron Cannot Play Off The Ball, he has to have the ball in his hands all the time, & even Kobe & MJ Who Get called Ball Hogs didn’t have to bring the ball up & have it in their hands all the time, they did when they ISO but were also way better lockdown defenders than Lebron for far Longer than Lebron, & neither were overwhelmed by the criticism they received from others..Lebron is an all time Great don’t get me wrong but he is a tier Below guys like Kobe & MJ, Timmy D, & Shaq

    The mistake Barnes just made is the same mistake many make when making an all-time great list. Comparing players of the past to players today. If it weren't for the players of the past, you wouldn't have the advancements he talks about now. in 50-100 years, they will say the same about today's players. Rules have changed as well. If you're going to make a list, don't mix eras. Make a list of greatness based on how great they were in the era's they played in and try to find a balance. Or else, forget a fucking list.

Wilt played against, Willis Reed, not the limping Willis, the one that knocked 3 guys out in a NBA fight. Zelmo Beatty, an East Texas athlete that can run like a deer. 55 rebounds against Bill Russell. Nate Thurmond and Walt Bellamy. ALL ARE IN THE HALL OF FAME!! So what are you talking about??
