Had other uncle's that served in Korea and Vietnam and they made it home. I was in the US Navy on the USS NASSAU LHA-4. I mourn with you Laakona. Our Shipmates, fellow Marines and Soldiers, Airmen and Coastguards men ( As well as all of the Rosie's and Nurses and other Women that did their part and in some cases paid the ultimate sacrifice. Related or not , They are ALL FAMILY.
