So the issue is...although it allows setup via email, it really does NOT allow anything but using your phone number. You MUST use your phone to sign up or it won't complete registration. How stupid.
i looked around a bit trying to figure this out, tried all the things, then saw this comment and tried using my number, and of course it worked. welp, so much for having any kinda privacy.

ya same I got banned for minor safety I had one video and it wasn't even closely relating to minors at all then a second one because they though I was under 13 sent in my liscense and everything and they still said nope then tries to make a new account and no matter what I try they won't let me diff email and everything most corrupt and stupid app ever
@@sarahasiimwe288 I had to make a new Google account and use it to make a TikTok, everything else was using my normal account just used the new one for tiktok. Hope that helps! P.s don't post anything like you posted for getting banned, I got banned for rdr2 content.

I made an account 2 years ago. Posted one video where i dropkicked a rugby ball. Left the account for ages and forgot about it because i didnt give two shits about tiktok and when i went back to use it i was banned and the window for appeal had passed meaning the only way i can make a new account is if i get a new phone
EDIT: I fixed it. What i did was redownload tiktok from another app store (the one i used was APKpure) and it let me make a new account just fine

same! but i had no posts. i was banned for literally no reason and when i told them they responded basically saying no we are keeping it banned because of a "violation" when i asked for proof of that violation they pretty much just said no and left it at that :(

I think if you want tiktok then you’ll have to get an entirely new device with completely different information either that or just not have TikTok
I've done all of of these in TikTok never responds. I've even set up a brand new email address and tried logging in with that and it still says account band when they're literally is no content to that account.

If you can, use a VPN. It won't let you make an account for a while, bc your ip is blocked.
