- This week we're exploring more with sublimation! This week we're going to show you two methods to sublimate on dark colored t-shirts! We love the option of printing our own images and infusing them into the t-shirts with a cotton blend, but what if you wanted to sublimate on 100% cotton or even dark fabrics?! You could.use the all purpose flour technique lay image down trace with flour an outline then go in and paint the areas to be bleached with bleach paint on with a paint brush. Skip the whole vinyl step.. But like always love the videos you 2 are Great...

Great job... I do agree, oversize the sublimation helps to avoid lining up... although if any bleach spotted outside your design.. it might pick it up.

I’m going to try this bleach technique but on a stubby holder and don’t care if it bleeds, just for the effect I won’t use peroxide :) hope it works. Thanks for the i soo I enjoyed watching this video

I love your content! Thank you for posting all of these helpful videos! I have a question. Is this really sublimation? The reason why I am asking this is because I worked at a vinyl printing and screen printing shop and both those print methods sit on top of the material which I would like to avoid because they don't wash well. When I see your final product, I can see it has a glossiness to it and I don't know if it is because the ink is on top of it or if this is just the look that it gives as the end result? Thanks!

I just came across your video, love it! You might have come across with my options to do this so I am wondering if you might have an option for what i am needing. I am doing a logo on a black tanktop. My issue is that it is not all one piece and also has white writing in it. The logo will only be 3"x3" so it will be difficult to do the print/cut feature. Any ideas? Anyone?

Have you tried a partial / peel-back liner technique, rather than having the whole piece exposed before placing down. May help with easier positioning. Interesting processes and both turned out well.

What your best recommendation of sublimation ink for Epson Eco Tank printer??
I use Hiipo and love it.
I also use Hiipo brand and love it, of course, it's my 1st time using sublimation and I've not tried any other brand, but just watching youtube and seeing other brands I will most likely stick with this brand when I need more ink.
And Easy subli, I can finally understand!!! May I ask what size is the easy press mat? That’s a really nice size
We have the Cricut 20 x 16" mat.
Kim, can you explain how you got your image to print larger than is allowed in design space or were you in the guideline? I really don't like this part of Cricut. Why do we have a 12"x12" mat or a 12"x24" if you can't design and cut on the full mat? Sheesh!
I bought Silhouette and you can just change the size in it. 😁

Great video! Will a blow dryer work as well to help with the bleaching process?
Hair dryer will work, just takes a bit longer than a heat gun. Just be careful not to get the heat gun concentrated on one spot or you may get a burn hole in your shirt!
When the area started to turn brown on the 1st T-shirt. What were you using to wipe away the brown?

Great video but how did you get your sized design? I can't bypass Cricut's restricted size for print/cuts.
Hey guys I have a question! If I have an Epson 2720 and an Epson 2760 they are both Brand New which one would you recommend for sublimation to be converted and which one would you recommend for stickers

We cut it in two pieces and ironed them on seperately
Which setting did you use to cut the easy subli?
Great video as always! So, I saw on another video where it showed that you couldn’t print directly onto the EasySub because the ink wouldn’t dry. Instead it was recommended to print onto sublimation paper first, heat transfer the image onto the EasySubli, and then onto the shirt. But you printed directly onto the EasySubli! So…what’s best?

I have a few questions! For the one Garrett did do u use jus a cheap vinyl for stencil?
For Kim’s does the image feel like vinyl and peel eventually like vinyl? Or does it feel like sublimation?
I have a job I have to do for a new business in town and they picked black for their clothing color and I am nervous on which technique is best.

I think easysubli is cool and all but not professional. I want our Products to last and I’m just not sure how long the easysubli will last.
