Make fresh yeast by leaving potato peals in water. Once you see bubbles (co2) forming, the yeast is there.

I mixed this solution on Saturday, added the wood ash and epsom salt. I didn’t have the egg shell powder. Applied the fertilizer after church on Sunday. Rained last night and this afternoon. I checked this evening:
My green beans that have been attacked by Japanese beetles, now have a ton of blooms
    Pickles have new blooms
Bell peppers and habaneros have blooms
    Ornamental pumpkins are perking up!
We’ve been in drought in East TN and my plants are really impressed!
    I recommend.

Have you tried those pheromone traps for Japanese beetles? They work well. Too well really you'll have all your neighbors beetles in your trap also. But if you don't put it close to your garden it should keep them away. If you have chickens you can feed it them or compost them.

This explains why one of my plants was doing terrible. I added water to a pretty much empty can of beer. I watered my plant with it, grew back even better than before. Beer is high in yeast and sugar. Also my mom is 75. She would make a mix similar to yours. She added blending vegetable scraps and let it ferment. Had the best garden in the area. People would ask her what she was doing. This is a story she told me. This all happened before I was even conceived. So I know your method works as well.

I was taught to take a teaspoon of potato starch, scratch it into the soil. Then water the plant with the yeast water. It gives the yeast something to break down into the nutrients the plants need. I do that when transplanting the plants into the garden.
On the wood ash, I add that into my soil directly at the end of the growing season. It gives it the winter to break down into the micronutrients the plants need for the next year's crop.

It should be pretty common knowledge for people tending to a garden these days, unfortunately it seems it's not. Even an understanding of horticultural basics seems to be an exception in my experience.
I would love to see people use the huge wealth of information that's available to everyone for free nowadays and learn the basics first, instead of always looking for some magical cure-all, one size fits all approaches and jumping on mostly useless anecdotal tips - which could even be very useful at times, if one would understand what's going on.
It's not that hard and there's plenty of reputable professional horticultural resources available online, I really don't understand what's holding people back.

I'm looking forward to trying this to see if it'll help with the store-bought plants I have now. Unfortunately, I lost all of the seedlings I'd started indoors when I moved them outside for the hardening phase. And in the meantime, I'll just support the produce vendors at my local farmers market.
Also, I can attest to the wood ash benefit. Every year since I started adding garden and kitchen scraps to our burn pile spot, I've had one or more varieties of volunteer plants grow in it, sometimes even better than in my garden. This year's big surprise was finding 3 lovely heads of romaine lettuce where I likely tossed the ends after making a salad the previous year. I've had very little success growing lettuces, traditionally or hydroponically, so I was happy that I discovered them before my husband burned the next batch of limbs. 🥰

☔️THE GOSPEL OF THE WORD OF ALMIGHTY GOD "the Salvation of the last day that Christ brought in the second and last incarnation of His new and holy name"
(On earth, all kinds of evil spirits wander endlessly looking for a place to rest, and never stop looking for human corpses to eat. My people! Never act immorally! Never act careless! Instead, offer your loyalty to My home, and only through loyalty can you launch an opposition against the devil's device. No matter what happens you must not act as in the past, doing one thing in front of Me and another behind My back--that way you will be beyond the reach of redemption. Everything I say is for the sake of ensuring your destiny! A foul and dirty place is exactly what Satan needs; the more there is no hope of redemption, and the more perplexed you are, refusing to submit to restraint, the more the unclean spirits will try at any opportunity to enter. No one knows the gravity of this situation; everyone assumed that what they were hearing was idle talk and did not care in the slightest. I don't remember what happened in the past. Are you still waiting for Me to ease you by forgetting again! Even if humanity opposes Me, I will not hold it against him, because man's stature is too low, and therefore I do not demand high demands from him. All I require is--he should not waste himself, and submit to restraint. Surely this is not beyond your ability to meet a condition?)
      Almighty God said
On earth, all kinds of evil spirits roam endlessly looking for a place to rest, and never stop looking for human corpses to eat. MY CITY! You MUST REMAIN IN My LOVE and CARE. NEVER ACT IMMORALLY! 🌹🙏
      NEVER act CARELESSLY! 🙏
INSTEAD, OFFER your LOYALTY to My HOUSE, and only THROUGH LOYALTY can you wage opposition against the devil's creation. ☀️
NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS you SHOULD NOT ACT AS IN THE PAST, doing one thing in front of Me and another behind My back---that way you will be beyond the reach of redemption. 🛑
I've certainly uttered too many--too many words like these, haven't I? It's really because the old nature of man will never change that's why I have reminded him again and again. Don't get bored! Everything I am saying is for the sake of ensuring your destiny! 🙏
A STINKY and DIRTY PLACE is what SATAN DEFINITELY NEEDS; the more there is no hope of redemption, and the more you are perplexed, refusing to submit to restraint, the more you will try---at any opportunity for unclean spirits to enter. As soon as you get on this path, your loyalty will be nothing but empty chatter, without any evidence, and your steadfastness will be eaten by unclean spirits, to be disobedience or Satan's device, and used to disrupt theMy work. Because of that I will beat you to death whenever and wherever I want. NO ONE KNOWS THE SERIOUSNESS OF THIS SITUATION; EVERYONE ASSUMES that what they are HEARING is NONSENSE and DOESN'T care one bit. 🛑
I DON'T REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENED IN THE PAST. Are you still WAITING for Me to ease you THROUGH forgetting AGAIN! Even if humanity opposes Me, I will not hold it against him, BECAUSE THE STAGE OF MAN IS TOO LOW, and therefore I DO NOT demand HIGH NEEDS from him. The ONLY thing I NEED is---he should not waste HIMSELF, and SUBMIT to RESTRAINT. SURE it is NOT beyond your ability to meet a condition? Most people are waiting for Me to reveal more mysteries for the pleasure of their eyes. And even if you do understand all the mysteries of heaven, what can you do with that knowledge? Will it increase your love for Me? Will it ignite your love for Me? ☀️
I do not underestimate the person, nor do I just arrive at a jury verdict about him. If these were not the actual conditions of the person, I would never have simply crowned people with these labels. Think back to the past; Was there ever a time when I cursed you? Any time when I looked down on you? Any time when I looked at you without regard for your actual circumstances? 🙏
Any time when what I said failed to fill your heart and your mouth with conviction? Any time when I spoke without stirring up emotional memories within you? Who among you has been able to read My words without fear and trembling, fearing to be thrown into the bottomless pit? Who does not endure the test within My words? Within My words lies authority, but it is not to simply judge man; rather, understanding the actual conditions of people, I always reveal to people the meaning inherent in My words. At the point of certainty, is there anyone who can recognize My mighty power in My words? Is there anyone who can receive in himself the purest gold of which My words are made? How many words have I spoken, but does anyone value them? 🙏

Nothing special is needed except for time and understanding. In Minnesota, bad batches of home brew or root beer made a great fertilizer.( Didn't pour it directly on the plants, just around them.)

I wonder if I could use a bit of SCOBY from my kombucha as well?? It would make sense that kombucha SCOBY would also promote a healthy soil microbiome; especially seeing that it has the added benefit of the good bacteria. I just don’t know if those bacteria are also beneficial to plants.
Edit: did a quick google search and felt silly almost immediately. I didn’t even consider the fact that the fermentation process will turn into acetic acid fermentation, leading to soil acidity.

From The WORD, Vol. I. The Manifestation and Work of God. God's Words to the Whole Universe, Chapter 10
📩 All who have "ears to listen" are led to what the Spirit of God is saying in His lowered and built kingdom/Church engraved with His new name, His totality, the ownership of this disposition, "THE CHURCH OF ALMIGHTY GOD "💐 fulfillment from what was said He to Peter 2,000 years ago recorded in (Mat. 16:18-19). His Coming is the fulfillment of all that was prophesied in the great book of Revelation, so the last "Salvation" He brought the whole truth, the way for eternal life. So the "victorious" ones who will receive them are the wise "virgins" because as recorded in the prophecy of His return no one knows it except the one who will receive it! So "come" and come to His kingdom/church standing in the holy place in the air/TH-cam! This is also a fulfillment from the book of (Isaiah 2:2/9:6) which He first fulfilled in His first incarnation. 📥

(Rev. 7:10). ... and (Isaiah 2: 2 / 9:6) "On the Last Day, the mountain on which Jehovah's temple stands will stand out above all the mountains. All nations will flock there. " . I found this very interesting. Currently, what I consider the gold standard of what many of the world record holders for growing giant vegetables or giant yields do and that is adding glacial rock dust for micro nutrients with compost made from soft leafy vegetables, fruits and other soft garden waste. Compost from woody inputs is used for trees. It's combined with water and aerated overnight with one of those fish tank pumps with a bubble stone to grow the microbiological population. The end result is strained before adding to a spray bottle for foliar spraying or watered directly into the soil around the target vegetable. I can see the same principles being used here, with the wood ash and eggshell dust replacing the glacial rock dust for micro nutrients and the single strain commercial yeast replacing the wide spectrum of yeasts available in a compost. Anyway, it would be interesting to trial both methods side by side on a variety of plants and vegetables and see what improvements could be made to either method to increase crop size and/or yields.

I'm not sure where best to tell more of my progress, so a new comment it is.
Today is day seven of my experiment. Although I did not see explosive growth or revival, there was enough going on that I mixed up a second batch of yeast water to see that ALL my plants were included.
I've seen renewed growth and increased flower production, and while I wait for those flowers to bear fruit, I await the increase for all of my plants. Which includes, a few corn plants, cucumbers, tomatoes (of course), the pumpkins, the green beans, and my now revealed cantaloupe volunteers. I poured some around my herb plants and began to see renewed growth there as well.
For 5.50 for a jar of yeast, it's a cheap and fun way to help my garden grow. A worthwhile investment. I encourage you all to try it. One guy with one garden is only a start. It's certainly worth the try. 😊

in fact you don't even need to buy it once... just put some nice flour into a covered bowl with some warm water and you will have yeast by the morning..
use some for the garden and feed the rest for tomorrow's batch.. when you don't need any put it into the fridge and it will rest quite happily.. for up to a few years..

How to make yeast at home:
    Take three dates.
    Either dried or fresh dates.
Dried contain more sugar, it is concentrated.
Cut the dates into small pieces, put them in a jar of 500 to 750 ml.
Maybe take an empty glass of peas and carrots.
Put on sugar, one to three teaspoons.
Brown or white sugar, does not matter.
Stir well with 200 ml of water so there is half liquid, half air in the glass.
Cover it but don't close the glass airtight.
It will develop gas and it needs room temperature and air in the glass.
After three to five days it will be foamy water, with bubbles.
This water can be used for baking instead of using yeast from the store.
The dates can be tried of course, some like it, some don't.
Kitchenwaste can be good cheap fertilizer as well.
Just use all you have, peels of potatoes, peels of anything.
Put it in a big bowl of water, wait one or two days, put the water on your garden.
Put the peels on your compost if you have compost.
Even put it on your kitchen plants on the windowsill. Just try, it is great.
