I’ll just be friendly to a guy and he’s asking me out - no not attracted to you like that 👀 I thought I was vibing with this dude at work (-thought he was an ENFP), and then he tried to pick up on me... and he’s (ugh) married (I found out after I turned him down and pissed him off and he started back stabbing me because I bruised his tall ego) 🤨🤨🤨. I got asked out for drinks 3 times this week and one was by a girl way way way younger than me (and I don’t swing that way) (and I don’t drink). It’s hard to just ... be ... me. #pityparty
It stinks. I cannot be myself. I have to walk around with a no nonsense face all of the time bc I dont want to deal with it. That is extremely hard to keep up for an extended period of time. Ya feel me? Lol
Hello Artem! I don't know that much about the Big 5 test, tbh... I took it once, online, and then read their theory. I just remember that their definition of extraversion is kind of limited to extraverted feeling ("wanting harmony" "being open to people" "interested in social recognition"). Which is too reductive, I think... ENFPs, as extraverted Intuitives, have not much to do with introverted feeling. That test didn't bring me much more understanding of myself. But then again, I did it online, don't know that much of the theory itself... What do you think about it? :)
@@Ennpey Big-5 is academy choice. While typologies are popular concept. Academy treat people as objects. People are more useful when unified. In my country a goverment start a compaign aganst all personality typologies. Ignorant and probably corrupted people run it. I don't want cult of human uniqueness either. That's just an excuse to not study human mind and consequently to not make life better. I like to watch MBTI-videos. I can evaluate ENFP related content from my own experience.

So why try to make it? There are no two human minds alike and the efforts to categorise them with an actual objective, systematic approach will be limiting, to me. That's what I personally love about the MBTI and Carl Jung's theories, they leave a lot of space for the uniqueness of each mind but still help understand vast categories of people. Because of that, the MBTI and Jung's theory on psychological types are less systematic and therefore less 'objective'. And they seem less scientific as well, but to me that's the right approach to the study of something as subjective as the human mind. I also don't think we need a cult of uniqueness, but finding uniqueness in each human mind is interesting :) and can answer a lot of questions about oneself. If a lot of people find truth in the Big 5 and it helps them take better care of themselves and communicate with others, that's awesome! I would encourage that 😊 I'm sorry the government of the country you live in has started a campaign against typologies! That sounds crazy... I hope you'll be fine and that the campaign doesn't lead anywhere. Thanks for sharing your opinion here. I appreciate it 😊
