I feel like that icicle level was a half decent example of pick a path with a right answer, 'cause the first two sections of it are "notice the outlier icicle that won't kill you instead of continuing forward" and then that spot is also notice the icicle outlier that won't kill you instead of continuing forward.
That said, considering something like that can just as easily be a bait and often is in worse levels, there's still an inherent mind games that's just annoying to deal with the guessing of. It's a shame levels like that can't exist in a vacuum of "you can know there's thought put into it and not just antagonistic design".
