I didn't realize you could pop the main head off. I kept trying to put attachments on top of it. Thanks for showing the nose hair trimmer. I just tried mine. Incredible.
Purchased MG9730/40 at Costco Dec. 28/2022. Different box states "Advanced titanium blades". Trimmer is black, not stainless steel. All else appears same. $39.99.
I got one at Best Buy the other day. Just tried to use it the blades are not zeroed out leaves a lot longer hair then I like . Just Boxed it back up. And got my old cheap clippers out to redo it. Will be returning it this week
Hello. I guess you bought 8000 series product. I wonder if the machine works with the charging cable plugged in? Because it was working on the 7750 model.
Neither did I. If you look at the instruction fold-out General Description (Gig.1) the #6 says "Full-size hair trimmer", but the thumbnail shows a smaller trimmer head. They saved on that to provide Costco discount :)
It seems like this is ideally for people who have shaved heads and like a 'stubble' beard effect. For me, I have a longer beard, so I still have to use scissors. Too bad. I like the unit for other uses, but trimming longer hair and beards, it's scissors for me.
It’s fine. Especially if you plan to only use it in your bathroom. There’s no way to defeat the power button so it’s constantly getting turned on in my luggage and draining the battery, not to mention the unwanted attention at the airport. Silly design.
Yeah I just got the 9000 series that comes in the hard case, but I can see maybe the attachments possibly hitting the power button? I know the 9000 (meant for face and beard only) prestige has a feature where you can hold the power button for three seconds and lock the trimmer power button. I just got mine today and haven’t used it, but I don’t think the 9000 multi groomer has that feature. It doesn’t have a built in guide like the prestige but you get way more blades and attachments, including the T-blade for shaping up your beard etc. I’m excited to use it because Wahl had dropped the ball with their power switches sticking it seems. Also, DO NOT rinse or dunk the battery part of the razor in water… I don’t care if it says wet/dry!!! It will eventually cause problems with the switch… could be 2 months or 2 years but it will happen. Notice it says “water resistant”! Trust me just use the included brush to get the hair out of the razor… the attachments you can submerge in water. But submerge them in alcohol after to remove excess water and oil the blades at least once a month… if not more. You can use mineral oil. I use Ballistol oil for everything. It’s like WD-40 without harsh chemicals that degrade plastic or rubber… it’s meant mostly for cleaning your guns but it’s basically just mineral oil. But yeah, watch the handle and keep it away from water if you can.
I have had this one for 5 years and still running strong and quiet.

I've been in the same boat for a few months. Manual didn't make it clear to my quick scan... Thanks for the video!

Dude the little pieces won’t click in on mine. They just pop out and clearly aren’t secure. Maybe I got a lemon. But definitely gotta return it.

“This is all in millilitres which is a little weird”
Pretty much the entire world except the USA uses the metric system.
Great!
