Thanks! Just retired from the military, and growing a beard for the first time! This was extremely helpful, both in techniques and in the capabilities of my new Philips 7000! I appreciate it!
I bought the 7000 pretty much because of this video. The first few weeks have been great. I'm super happy with it. For some reason having the plastic detachable guards are significantly better than built-in adjustable ones on the other model. I still use a different shaver to get a close shave on my neck, but this thing handles a shorter beard (2, 3, 5mm) really well.
Hi, ehhhhhhhhhh. Awesome to hear! I'm glad the Philips Norelco Multigroom 7000 is working so well for you. Thank you so much for the positive feedback and being a member of the GroomReviews community. I appreciate you watching and all your support! All the best!
Hi, c10seth. You are most welcome! Good to have you in the GroomReviews community. I'm happy to hear this video was helpful to you. Thanks for watching and for your positive feedback. All the best!
Hi, GENII. Awesome! I hope it works out well for you and you enjoy the product. Thank you so much for the positive feedback and your support of the channel! I greatly appreciate it. Thanks for watching and being a member of the GroomReviews community! All the best!
I came here to figure out how to remove the metal trimmer and attach the nose trimmer. I got my answer almost immediately. I stuck around to help out the channel. Thanks for the good review. I'll give you a sub as well. Take care, brother.
Watched you vid last week and got the 7000. Amazon had a seller that had it for 25% off so an even better return on my investment. Easy to operate and change cutters. Thanks for you time!
Hi, Dumpster Diver. Awesome deal! I hope the Multigroom 7000 is working to your satisfaction. Thanks so much for your support of the channel and being a member of the GroomReviews community! All the best!
Hi, john. Thank you so much for the kind words and positive feedback. I greatly appreciate it and your support of the channel. I'm so happy to hear that you enjoyed this video and that it was helpful to you. Thank you for watching and being a member of the GroomReviews community! All the best!
Well, I'm sold. Ordering it now. Good job. Also, I can personally attest to the fact that Phillips makes self-sharpening blades that last more than 5 years. Mine is 8 yrs old and still going strong, except the plastic parts and battery gave up.
Hi, Bugumir. Thank you for the positive feedback. I'm happy to hear this video was helpful to you and appreciate you sharing your experience. Thanks for watching and being a member of the GroomReviews community! All the best!
Thanks for your review! Was looking into this model for my husband. Also, thanks for showing the usage! Sometimes I like to help my husband trim his beard, and I've learned a lot about how each of the pieces are used to create a certain look! Can't wait to try it with him!
You earned yourself a sub and I ordered the Phillips Norelco 7000 based on your review. I had the Brio Beardscape cuz Alpha M highly recommended it. But I wasn't happy with it. Thanks for the great review.
Hi, Arjun. You are most welcome! Thank you so much for the positive feedback. I greatly appreciate the support of the channel and am happy to hear this video was helpful to you. Thanks for watching and being a member of the GroomReviews community. All the best!
Hi, Omar. Awesome! Thanks so much for the positive feedback. I'm glad to hear your having a positive experience with the Multigroom 7000. Thanks so much for the support!
This video was incredibly helpful. OMG the number of attachments was frightening, but I just put the hair combs in the black bag and tucked that under the sink and put the other attachments, for trimming face/body hair in one bag with the razor. Very helpful, now I know what's what. Thanks!
My husband just grew a beard for the first time. It was getting long and scraggly because he didn’t know what to do with it. Ordered the groomer, then found your video! 🎉 We followed along and now his beard looks great. 🧔🏻
Hi, theredderthebetter1. Awesome to hear! I'm so glad this video was helpful to you and your husband. Great job! Thanks so much for sharing your positive experience and being members of the GroomReviews community! All the best!
SOLD! I bought this unit based on this video. Thanks for the great review and trimming tips. As a beard newbie, I found this video extremely helpful. As another commenter noted ... going up will leave you at the length stated on the comb, which could be too short for some. So, some caution and experimentation is warranted. I found out which areas I comb down and which areas I'll comb up after just a couple of uses. For example, I'll comb down on the chin where I want it longer, and I'll comb up on my side burns to keep those pesky gray hairs from sticking out. I also find that the additional attachments and the ease of cleaning make this unit worth the extra money when compared to the 5000. Since my wife has now taken over cutting my hair, I can't wait to consult your other video to bring this unit into that activity as well! Thanks again!
Hi, Andres. You are most welcome! Thank you so much for the kind words. I greatly appreciate it. If interested, I just posted a video a few hours ago on DIY Home Haircut with the Philips Norelco Multigroom 7000 seen here: th-cam.com/video/V8g2hpXniFM/w-d-xo.html. Thanks for watching and supporting the channel. Great to have you as a member of the GroomReviews community! All the best!
Thank you for the guide, I have not used an electric shaver/trimmer in 40 years and you made the job much easier. I will need a little practice as the neckline is not quite right but greatly appreciate the video.
Hi, Nick. Thank you so much for the positive feedback! I greatly appreciate it! I'm glad I could help ease your transition back to the electric shaver/trimmer. If you are having difficulty with the neckline, I always recommend taking a practice pass around the neck line lower than where you intend to finish. This way, you limit cutting off more than intended right off the bat and it gives you a second pass to go around and even things out where needed. Thanks, again for your support and being a member of the GroomReviews community! All the best!
Ur video was sooooo helpful i jus ordered this kit now i really appreciate that u showed us step by step how to use it i guess I don’t need to go to barber anymore for my beard trimming thanks bro
Hi, Prince70065. You are most welcome! I'm glad you found this video helpful. Thank you for your kind words of support and for being part of the GroomReviews community! All the best!
You're so precise and your shaving technique is so good. I'm 23 and just recently started trimming my beard with precision tools, I had always used a standard hair-cutter with a guard since when I was 16. I had no idea how these grooming and trimming kits worked, so this year I just bought one and started using it. I've not done anything crazy yet though, as my beard doesn't seem as "full" as yours for example, there are a lot of empty spaces so I'm a bit afraid when grooming, especially when I'm not using guards to maybe refine something. I still wish my beard looked as good as yours though, I'm not happy with how mine looks and I have no idea what I could do to help it grow more "rich".
Hi, leongunblade. Thank you so much for your kind words and positive feedback. It really does mean a lot. I totally understand where you are coming from. When hair doesn't grow in quickly to begin with and takes time to fill out, it can be intimidating putting a trimmer to your face. Cutting too much off or cutting uneven and thinking you'll have to shave everything are common concerns with these devices. As long as you go in with a plan and take it slow, you'll do great. A good area to test with can be on the neck. For example, if testing a precision line, you can leave the cut a little bit longer down on the neck for the first pass to get a feel for it. Then go back for a second run for a more desirable length. Definitely go through my videos and see if you find one where the beard thickness might be closer to yours. For beard growth, you will hear many opinions on the matter. Biotin supplements/vitamins are one of the bigger marketing pushes going around for increased hair growth. There are also some beard oils that claim they increase beard thickness and growth. Personally, my opinion is that if you have areas of absolutely zero hair growth, that have always been smooth without even a whisker, it's most likely hair won't suddenly sprout in those areas. In this case, my suggestion is to allow the hair to grow out around these bare areas. It may be uncomfortable for a while, but eventually, the hair around the bare spots should start to grow long enough where it begins to cover and look full. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching and thanks for being part of the GroomReviews community!
@@GroomReviews thanks for your answer! You have a great channel. I forgot to add that your video convinced me to buy this grooming kit! My previous one just randomly died so I need a new one and your video helped me a lot.
Hi, leongunblade. You are very welcome! Thank you so much for your continued support. I greatly appreciate it. I'm glad I could help and happy to have you in the GroomReviews community. Please feel free to write back and share with us your experience with the Philips Norelco Multigroom 7000,. Thanks again! All the best!
Your video and recommendation helped me pick the Philips 7000 over the Wahl 9818 after my Wahl five star detailer died. I'm looking forward to using my new trimmer! Cheers 👍
Hi, Elliot. I'm glad I could be of help! I hope the Multigroom 7000 delivers the performance you are looking for and provides you with a pleasant experience. Any questions with the device, feel free to let me know. Thanks for watching and for your positive feedback. I greatly appreciate it!

Awesome review just saw this channel and watched like 8 different videos... you’re an awesome personality and very informative. Decided to go with this razor, very excited for it to come in!
Hi, Vahe O. Thanks so much for the positive feedback and kind words. Very much appreciated. I'm glad this video was helpful to you in your purchase decision. Let me know how it works out for you once you get a chance to use it. Again, I thank you for the support of the channel and for being a member of the GroomReviews community! All the best!
As a note, I owned a 3000 series for 6 months... the power button assembly on it is plastic and breaks very easily... I rigged it with electrical tape, but eventually, the silver plastic button assembly just crumbles... Getting a 7000 tomorrow, looks like it is built way better...
Hi, Jim Vick. Thanks for sharing your experience with the GroomReviews community. The Philips Norelco Multigroom 7000 build is superior to that of the 3000 and I think you will see a difference in quality that you will enjoy. Thanks for watching!
I got it all charged up, just need my facial hair to grow a little bit more... Your review was quite excellent. It is also worth nothing all the attachments for the series 3000 work on the 7000... so, I can still at least use the other attachments in a travel bag or something.
Hi, Jim Vick. Thank you for your kind words and positive feedback! Great to hear that the 3000 attachments are interchangeable with the 7000. Definitely a plus when you can reuse what you already have and don't have to toss away. Thanks for sharing this with the community! I appreciate it! All the best!
Yh that looks clean as hell. I love the different attachments for all the tricky areas I've had nightmare trying to find good trimmer over the years will def give this a crack.
Hi, Jet Ski. Thanks so much for your support of the channel and positive feedback! I really appreciate it. I'm happy to hear this video was helpful to you and would love to hear about your experience with the product after you've had a chance to test it out. Thanks for watching and being a positive influence on the GroomReviews community! All the best!
Hi, World Explorer. You are most welcome! Thank you so much for the positive feedback. The best all-in-one trimmer that I have reviewed to-date is the Philips Norelco Multigroom 7000 (amzn.to/2wMcG8f). As you know from this video, this is a great trimmer for face, head and body. To help you see what it can do on the hair, I recently posted a video on DIY Home Haircut using the Multigroom 7000, which you can see here: th-cam.com/video/V8g2hpXniFM/w-d-xo.html. If you haven't already, have a look. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching and being a member of the GroomReviews community! Stay safe. All the best.
Great review! I am happy for that, cause I know what I can read, of course, but I love to see it in action and your comments are really nice and the showcase I love it! Thank you!
Hi, Jose. You are most welcome! Thank you for the kind words. I'm happy to hear this video was helpful to you. Thanks for watching and supporting the channel. Great to have you as a member of the GroomReviews community! All the best!
Hi, Norman. Thank you so much! I greatly appreciate the positive feedback and support of the channel. If you haven't already, be sure to check out my DIY home haircut video using the Philips Norelco Multigroom 7000 seen here: th-cam.com/video/V8g2hpXniFM/w-d-xo.html. You can also check out my video I just posted for a DIY Home Haircut video using the Philips Norelco Beard Trimmer 5500 seen here: th-cam.com/video/zae04BSqivg/w-d-xo.html. In this video, I use this hair trimmer to cut the hair on my entire head. Let me know what you think. Thanks for watching and being part of the GroomReviews community! Stay safe. All the best!
Such a great review, I have a question 🙋, The direction of your trimming is not against the hair so how does it differes from the way I do it, I go against the hair (My beard is around 7mm). Please I need to understand this point. Thanks 🌹
Hi, nirvana a. You are most welcome! Thank you for your support of the channel. I'm glad you found this video helpful and found the Multigroom 7000 for a deal. Thanks for watching and being a member of the GroomReviews community! All the best!
Thank you Paul! You looked sharp man haha. I’ve been looking around for a new beard trimmer as I wasn’t satisfied with my previous devices, the latest being the lower-priced Philips QT 4005. I’m willing to spend more on a beard trimmer but there are tons of options out there and I have to say that I appreciate the efforts you put into making these review videos and giving honest opinions about different products. So for an under 70$ it appears my best options are the Philips multigroom 7000 and Wahl lithium Ion, but since I’ll use it almost exclusively for my beard I’m inclined to go with the Philips.
Hi, Captain Krieg. You are very welcome and thank you for the positive feedback. From the products that I have reviewed to-date, the Philips Norelco Multigroom 7000 is the best all-around performer on the beard based on its quality and range of attachments. It currently sits at a price of around $59 on Amazon, which is very reasonable and should provide you with a positive experience. One thing that you should consider is the size of the handle. It's a little longer than the Lithium Ion, which may feel odd in a smaller hand. But other than that, it should perform nicely. Thanks for watching and for your support! Good Luck!
GroomReviews I don’t know about the handle, my hand is probably just below the average size but still at that price and the positive reviews it just looks the trimmer to get. I’ll buy it soon and try to give my take on it here after a couple of uses. Again, thank you for your fantastic videos and helping your bearded bros everywhere.
Ayoo this review was celan af, my beard is very light, so I know exactly what are its strength a weakness. My baber never gets it, I will definitely get this one so I can start trimming it myself. Thank you very much!
Hi, pepetti bonardo. You are most welcome! I'm glad this video was helpful to you and I appreciate your support of the channel. Thanks for watching and being a member of the GroomReviews community! All the best!
Great video. I ended up going with the Multigroom 9000 (or MG7770 as it says on the device) for an extra $20. Essentially the same as this, but an extra hour of battery life and rated as showerproof.
Hi, Dustin Tolsma. Thank you so much for the positive feedback and support of the channel! I greatly appreciate it. I hope the Multigroom 9000 has worked out to your satisfaction. Thanks for watching and being a member of the GroomReviews community! All the best!
Thank you so much for this video, this helped me out so much. I got these clippers for xmas and watched your video the first time using them. Not all heroes wear capes.👍👌

Hi, Audito Canarsie. Thank you for the positive feedback. I greatly appreciate it! Thanks for watching and being part of the GroomReviews community! Have a great day!
Hi, TeeVees Greatest. Thank you for your question. For the Philips Norelco Multigroom 7000, Model MG7750 seen in this video, you can use the full size hair trimmer without a guard to trim hair as close to the skin as 1/32" or 0.5mm. At that point, you can go in with the foil shaver attachment to smooth out the hair to an even closer finish. If you are looking for a true zero, I a razor would be recommended. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching and being part of the GroomReviews community. All the best!
Thanks for the informative review. Am looking for a beard trimmer for the hubby and the result after using the trimmer speaks for itself. You look great post shave - the word handsome comes to mind!
Hi, dulcineahong. You are most welcome! Thank you so much for the positive feedback and your very kind words. I greatly appreciate it. I'm happy to hear this video was helpful to you. Thanks, again, for the support of the channel and for being part of the GroomReviews community! All the best!

Hi, Roberts Firearms. You are most welcome. Thank you so much for the positive feedback. I greatly appreciate it. I'm glad you found this video helpful. Thanks for watching and contributing to the GroomReviews community! All the best!
Great video! Have you used it on your body? I’m interested in getting it for manscaping. I usually trim short, so not concerned about shaving but want to make sure it’s safe and that I won’t get nicked.
Hi, Gerardo. You are most welcome! I'm happy to hear this video was helpful to you and appreciate your support of the channel. Thanks for watching and being a member of the GroomReviews community! All the best!
Hi, Pranit. Awesome! I hope the Philips Norelco Multigroom 7000 worked to your satisfaction and that this video was helpful to you. Thanks for watching and being a member of the GroomReviews community! All the best!
Hi, J. Adame. Thank you so much for the positive feedback! I greatly appreciate it. I'm glad you found this video helpful. If you haven't already, I posted a video on the OneBlade Pro Hybrid Styler seen here: th-cam.com/video/vFIM-glkvDg/w-d-xo.html . As you will see in the video, the OneBlade Pro gave me problems trying to cut into the thicker hairs of my beard, which I found very disappointing, considering that's what the Pro version is meant for. The blades were just too small and not sharp enough to do anything. It definitely does not compare with the cutting power, sharpness and ability of the Multigroom 7000, not to mention the vast array of attachments that come with the 7000, allowing you to create precision lines and detail for a clean, crisp look. Thanks for watching and being a member of the GroomReviews community! All the best!
I have this exact shaver in my amazon cart. Think i will buy it today. Thanks the video. I would definitely look into to buying a little decent microphone for future videos.
You are welcome. Thank you for your support and suggestion. I have recently tested out a few lapel mics that have disappointed. If you know of a particular mic that works well, please let me know. Thanks again!
Hi, Disaster. Thanks so much for the positive feedback! I greatly appreciate your support of the channel. Thanks for watching and being a member of the GroomReviews community! All the best!
Hi, this video was super helpful! Quick question: was the foil shaver good enough to use on my whole face? I’m looking for something that I can use to shave my face with (since normal shaving gives me super bad acne) and that I can use to trim other areas, I just don’t know what I should buy.
Hi, Matthew. Thank you for the positive feedback. I'm happy to hear this video was helpful to you. If you haven't already, I suggest taking a look at my video on the Braun Series 3 vs Remington F5-5800 seen here: th-cam.com/video/fSO8QSST0C4/w-d-xo.html and the Braun Series 9 seen here: th-cam.com/video/bpm_qDeuJck/w-d-xo.html. These are the foil shavers that I have tested to-date and recommend taking a look at to see if one might work well for you. These electric shavers will shave down to the skin and you may find they cause less irritation as compared to a blade. Hope this helps. Take a look and let me know. Thanks for watching and being a member of the GroomReviews community. All the best!
GroomReviews thanks for your response, your the only TH-camr I’ve ever come across that actually replies to every single comment, even if the video is months old. Keep it up!

Hi, Marco. Thank you so much! I greatly appreciate the positive feedback and support of the channel. All of the hair guards (black guards) are compatible with the T-Blade (wide sized blade). Hi, sara vanan. You are most welcome! Thank you for the positive feedback. I'm glad you found this video helpful. Here are the cleaning directions, according to the manufacturer instructions: After every use: cleaning under the tap 1 Turn off the product and disconnect from the power outlet. 2 Remove any guard or cutting element from the product. 3 Rinse the hair chamber under a warm tap. 4 Clean the cutting element and guard under a warm tap. 5 Carefully shake off excess water and let all parts air dry completely. If there is a build up of hair in the hair chamber, you may use the supplied brush to clean that out first before rinsing with the warm tap. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching and being part of the GroomReviews community! All the best!
Hi, Jose. I contacted Philips Norelco and they have indicated that the blades from these two devices are not interchangeable. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching and being part of the GroomReviews community! All the best!

I have spent 4 hrs looking at and reviewing trimmers thank you so much this is one for me.
Is you trimmer still working ?

You earned yourself a sub and I ordered the Phillips Norelco 7000 based on your review. I had the Brio Beardscape cuz Alpha M highly recommended it. But I wasn't happy with it. Thanks for the great review.
I also learnt about trimming process as a whole! Nice video tutorial and editing! Thank you!
Hi, Arjun. You are most welcome! Thank you so much for the positive feedback. I greatly appreciate the support of the channel and am happy to hear this video was helpful to you. Thanks for watching and being a member of the GroomReviews community. All the best!
Very nice review. I actually learned how to use the trimmer properly from your video.
Best review for the 7000 and beard trimming tips. Great work! Thank you
I bought this device because of ur reviews. Thanks man, im enjoying the trimmer alot.
Hi, Omar.
This is the best tutorial video about Philips Multigroom trimmer of beard that I have watched ever. Thank you so much!
@@GroomReviews I decided to subscribe to your channel, 'cause of your great performance. Congrats!
Thank you so much! Great to have you in the GroomReviews community!
This video gave the tutorial for grooming my beard with the MG 7720 that I had forgotten in a drawer, thank you so much!
Thnx for the review and showing what blades to use!
I am new to beard growing and your review is a great help. You got another subscriber. Stay handsome dude.

Awesome review just saw this channel and watched like 8 different videos... you’re an awesome personality and very informative. Decided to go with this razor, very excited for it to come in!

Very precise and well explained video . Couldn’t get better explanation . I am buying this tomorrow

Well done. I am going to watch other videos of yours and will find out which beard trimmer will suit my needs, Thanks and awesome work.
Such a great review, I have a question 🙋, The direction of your trimming is not against the hair so how does it differes from the way I do it, I go against the hair (My beard is around 7mm). Please I need to understand this point. Thanks 🌹
does this support a close shave? thank you!
Thanks buddy for walking us through this product i bought one of this from Costco for like 45$ ish CAD
You are most welcome! Yes, please check back in to let us know about your experience with the product after using. Thanks again!
Ayoo this review was celan af, my beard is very light, so I know exactly what are its strength a weakness. My baber never gets it, I will definitely get this one so I can start trimming it myself. Thank you very much!

FROM NOW ON... NO MORE BARBER!!! ONLY THIS VIDEO!!!
Great video. I ended up going with the Multigroom 9000 (or MG7770 as it says on the device) for an extra $20. Essentially the same as this, but an extra hour of battery life and rated as showerproof.

Brilliant review. Are the guard sizes the same as the Philips 7000 mg7736
Good job man you do well on your reviews good luck ever
IDK if anyone will answer my question.
Do this series have option for private area?
Great review of what all of the different attachments can do.
Hi, Audito Canarsie. Thank you for the positive feedback. I greatly appreciate it! Thanks for watching and being part of the GroomReviews community! Have a great day!
can i trim to a 0, like If I want to take all the hair off to skin level?
Hi, TeeVees Greatest. Thank you for your question. For the Philips Norelco Multigroom 7000, Model MG7750 seen in this video, you can use the full size hair trimmer without a guard to trim hair as close to the skin as 1/32" or 0.5mm. At that point, you can go in with the foil shaver attachment to smooth out the hair to an even closer finish. If you are looking for a true zero, I a razor would be recommended. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching and being part of the GroomReviews community. All the best!

nice video man, I think I will go for the multigroom 7000 instead of oneblade pro which I was originally going to buy
Hi, J.
Thanks for the great review video!

How to clean this trimmer
Hi, sara vanan. You are most welcome! Thank you for the positive feedback. I'm glad you found this video helpful.
Here are the cleaning directions, according to the manufacturer instructions:
After every use: cleaning under the tap
1 Turn off the product and disconnect from the power outlet.
