    Got a number 9 flex head torch from them a couple of months back and it’s hands down the best ever. The superflex hose is miles ahead of the stock torch that came with my welder. Since then I’ve bought a 26 torch as well, and can’t get enough of it. Absolutely wonderful. Luckily there’s an official supplier here in Russia. The price is fair for the quality you get too. The 9 just lays in your hand like a pencil. I found that I don’t even notice the hose, where I was always trying to find a comfy position for the hose with the stock one. As for sheath/cover - I just plaited over mine with some paracord like you would do a whip. Seriously great gear. Thanks CK Worldwide for making such wonderful stuff.

    I’ve been indecisive about whether to buy the 17 or the 9 style torch, but after watching your video I realised I should just get them both since they hook up so easily to the same line.

    CK are the best. I have one for my (WP-17F) torches, makes life a lot easier when going at it all day. The silicone hose with nylon over-braid is quite light weight and super flexible compared to the standard hoses.

  • @herronleslie

    I’m going out on a limb Dusty when I throw this out there but I was wondering do you have anyway you can do a learning video on a valve torch & basic. By that I mean no foot pedal/ no switch on torch.
    Asking cause myself & a lot of people out there but themselves a half decent wee stick weld machine with lift start TIG welding cape abilities, buy the rest of what’s required to get going and then all the vids show experts with foot pedals & switches.
    There has to be good knowledge that can be passed on about this subject.
    There’s many situations when TIGG’n with a valve 😉 only comes in useful. Thanks Buddy 👌🏼 Just love your work by the way 👏🏻

    • @baldwindigital
      @baldwindigital 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Pacific Arc Tig Welding and yeah the unit bundled with my primeweld ct520dp is a 17 series and actually not bad! ...but it’s sure not a CK 17 flex. I guess the ac/dc 225 they sell actually comes with a CK torch, which is pretty darned cool. For my next trick I’m taking a harbor freight welding cart I scored off Craigslist unopened for $20 and beefing it up with real wheels (with bearings lol) and adding a scrap sheet of fairly heavy gauge underneath that will strengthen and widen the chassis a bit so I can store more goodies and roll a K size argon tank, weight max now is 100 and I’m thinking it will hold 400 easy when I mod it, not that I need that much. Will be into it for $40-50 tops when I am done ✅

    I don't know what the difference is between the 9 and 17. My machine came with a 150A torch with gas shut off on handle. I was wanting to get a CK but trying to get the right one. Tried tigging years ago, I mig welded. Wanting to learn more so got a titanium multiprocess 200.

    The description of torch hose and how you like it better is like me with compressor hose. Using a spray gun with horrible hose isn't cool. Makes a lot of sense to be welding with a hose you don't have to fight.

    Where can I get a setup like you have there with the negative connector? I looked on CK workdwide and nothing only touch and hose no combos? I just bought an Everlast 255EXT here in europe, they don’t supply an air cooled touch no flow gauge no pedal only a water cooled touch. So basically you can’t use the welder from the word go. Learnt my lesson it’s cheaper to buy from the US. My shipping would be less that the cost of the missing items

    My new 200 amp DC tig/stick welder just arrived today, I am new to tig welding so all this info helps a lot, thank you.
    A question about the back cap that you made, do you have a list of the parts I would need to make one, like the brass fitting that goes in and any O-rings that it uses? Also, did you use just a standard acrylic to make it or is it a high temperature type material or ??? I have a mini wood lathe and would like to make my own, I think it gives the torch some nice flair. 👌

    I purchased 2 cables from them for my everlast welder, when i got them the first one looked ok. The second one looks like a China production, the only difference i see from the one that came with the machine is that CK puts their name on it. The handles and torch bodies are the same. Come on CK get your shit together. Very unhappy with what they sent me, i paid for it.

    Last year bought a torch for my Everlast from them, they said it would fit, have the large dinse plugs, they where slightly smaller to the point they would wobble & turn possibly arc so I contacted customer service, they told me they knew some of the Everlast machines would not work correct with there torches but tried by e mail talking my into trying some kind of shim on my new machine, told them forget it I want a full refund, begrudgingly they gave me the refund after the torch was returned, after this the fact that they knew of the problems, lied to me about the fit then tried to talk me into some fucked idea I will never buy anything from these clowns!
