  • We review, for the second time, the new Harley-Davidson Street Bob 114 motorbike.
    Her's a link to our previous 2021 review - • Street Bob 114 Review....
In this review, we focus on the feelings, style and and emotive aspects of the bike, as well as the practicalities, handling, ride and other pertinent aspects.
There's no doubting that this motorcycle is super cool! But what's it like to ride? any good if you're tall? We put it to the test on a 3 hour ride across England and Wales, before making this film. We even stumbled upon a quaint English village called Harley!
As always, filmed professionally in stunning locations! A feast for the eyes and the soul!

This is one of the best reviews of a motorcycle I have seen on TH-cam. I mean best in the sense that it made me really pause and appreciate the bike in a new way, and want to get it!

Got to admit…if I was to ever have the funds to be able to afford an Harley, always had a soft spot for the Street Bob. Probably because it’s just such a minimalistic Motorcycle (which is why I love the RE Interceptor) and it’s link with the post WWII movement where ex military Harleys chopped down with low seats & ape hanger bars.
Wish I could own this with my Interceptor & of course the RE Classic signals 350 to complete my perfect trio! 👊😎👍

I said it before and I'll say it again, this channel is pure artisanal production (with great video quality). You can feel the heartfelt production with a point of unprocessed rawness and authenticity that matches the poetic thoughts on this iron horse. The no-bullshit unapologetic approach tops it off perfectly. Long live this channel, H-D and this way of life. Thank you Ol' Man!

Hiya, I watch your videos just to see what's new and get an honest view of the bikes that are out there to have, I,M in the U.S. and is looking at buying a farm in Italy to retire too and have found a few that I can buy just to relax and enjoy the life I have left , but getting things moved like my bike and just personal things will cost several dollars , but that's the price of being able to do such things , I got to have my bike , I could get the military's to help but preferer to do it on my own , them bikes you ride look like a lot of fun to run threw the gears love what you do here be safe and happy riding

Hi I am An old school bike rider and agree with you this is how bikes should be, no fancy tech just plain old get up and go. This Harley looks really good to me.
IMO these latest monstrosities with every gadget you can think of, including automatic they are trying to take the fun out of motorcycling for sure. God almighty !!! if this is what you want then buy a car, the next innovation will be a cover/roof over the bike to protect you from the inclement weather.

Have to agree with you, to me modern bikes are lost with all there electronics, rider aids etc, I prefer basic right wrist to back tyre. I waited a life time to pay cash for a new Harley. I just broke my piggy bank and purchased the 2023 soft tail standard. Having a set of dragbars put on and hoping she will be ready next week. The shorter clutch cable was in issue that held it up. I DID PURCHASE my 2023 Softail standard at Twin Cities HD, Lakeville, Minnesota, USA, Diego and all the folks there did me right on the deal. I paid extra to have drag bars put on her before she rolls out. still waiting because a company called "Magnum shield" out of NewYork, USA... makes all clutch cables worldwide for most motorcycles, HD and Indian. They sent an Indian cable so I must wait a little longer. Would have loved to have the Breakout but I am to old for financing anything and the soft tail standard fit my piggy bank...Thanks for the review.👍👍👍

I’ve got the 2021 Street Bob in white with the spoked wheels. I love it. After the first service and oil change at 1,000 miles my Harley was run in perfectly and it now feels extremely powerful. Be careful at over 100mph that the wind does not take your leg and rip it off at the hip, keep your legs tight in to the fuel tank if riding at that speed is my advice!!!

I’m lucky enough to have one of these all be it heavily customised and a 2021 model so has spokes. It’s absolutely brilliant. Bags of torque. I personally prefer the spoked wheels and I have the whole bike blacked out. Can it be ridden on long journeys well I’ve just dome 1100 miles over a weekend, was it comfortable well it’s certainly doable but your back does know about it. My only other moan is the back break is absolutely dreadful and in my opinion needs upgrading or at least put twin breaks on the front to make up for the lack of back break. Oh and one other thing should have a hydraulic clutch not cable. The cable needs adjusting more often than most bikes. Apart from that a bloody great bike. Would I buy another. Absolutely. I’m 6’2 and in my opinion the forward controls I have is a must for longer journeys. Great video. If your thinking about getting one think no more you won’t regret it.

I owned a 2012 Street Bob and the biggest biking mistake of my life was to get rid of it! The bike has moved on substantially since then. For one thing the engine was only a 96. Looking at the specs of the model you've reviewed my one big criticism of the current bike is the size of the fuel tank. It's a lot smaller now. Great review though, I still want one!

i recently got the British classic, Triumph T120. i really wanted the Low Rider S or for a little less $s, this bike being reviewed. i was able to get the Triumph for MUCH less and still get a classic looking bike with nice sound and great handles weighing significantly less than the HD. my bike is somewhat novel here in North Carolina as every other bike you see is a HD. since i got my T120, i have gotten a ton of positive comments from friends and strangers. just yesterday when getting gas, a dude said, 'badass bike'. the older guys recognize my bike as the bonneville was a hugely popular here back in the 60s into the 70s. anyway, nice review of an American classic.

Point made on HD, well made but everyone has one here in the states. I ride a couple Triumph’s 1977, 2001, are my riders. Great sound and hundred plus pounds lighter. I have Iron 1200 and I will never sell it, best bike for me but as it is not manufactured anymore, if I would be buying new bike now, it would be Street Bob.
Btw, why you have put your old "This is why we ride Harleys"-video down? That was my favourite video from You!
Greeting from Finland. Hot summer now but sadly so short riding time in year. Moving to Spain like You are doing is my dream also. Even if I like being here with many ways.

Why would you make the 1200 your favored bike? The weight reduction is the only thing i can think of it. 1200 is a beginner bike, no reason to stay on it.

I just had my test-ride with this bike, even in this same colour! Beautifull machine! However, some things I want to point out. You're calling the clutch "stiff" here, but in my opinion it's too much, it's super annoying in city traffic. Another aspect my opinion differs from yours is the dashboard screen, as soon as there is just a little bit of sun it becomes very hard to see and it looks cheap. Also, the brakes are very minimal for such a heavy bike. Great engine though, a nice 1886 cc i believe! :)

Used to have a 14 fat bob and swapped it for a cbr1000rr sadly missed the fat bob, swapped the cbr for an (18 plate) 2015 xjr1300......now I'm saving up and hopefully going to px my xjr for this model but with spokes, as I've always wanted a chop style bike and this fits the bill

Like all brands, they’ve had to economise in recent years. I live near a seaside Harley dealer in south wales and the used approved bikes are in a state after two to three years. Chrome forks corroded with white patterns, dotted rust on engine covers. They’re not the bikes of 20 years ago but then that applies to many brands. I like them but can’t pretend they’re not built to a price or suitable for the British winter without a lot of TLC. My mate’s CVO isn’t a patch on the R18.

I just passed 12,000 miles on my 2022 (same color as this one). I bought it as my last motorcycle. It's a good old man sign off. I was drawn to the design and I've always preferred naked bikes anyway. This thing has such a retro look. I put zombie pipes on it, a front lift on the tank, highway pegs and a gps on it. This thing has great balance and a good sized engine for the chassis size. I think the look of many a Harley is wrecked by all the stuff they mount on it. This bike reminds me of riding some antique out of a museum. One thing I also did, was remove the padding in the seat and replace it with gel (ooooooooooooooh sooooooooooooooo much better). I like the original seat and didn't want to get some monstrosity.

    • @brianatkinson6600
      @brianatkinson6600 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

@@silverrambo1508 Sorry, actually I don't. I brought it to an upholstery shop to have it done (that's a dying art). The Harley dealer I bought the bike recommended them. It's worth the effort (I can ride this gel padded seat all day now). In my sport bike seats I had it strategically placed, but the way the foam was in this seat it made more sense to just completely replace it with gel. You won't regret doing it. So much better than buying one of those aftermarket monstrosities (looks better too).

Not bad in black, better with spoke wheels and I fancy a sprung seat - maybe. Still, I don’t want to pay for extras should really be inclusive at these prices - someone mentioned locking fuel cap, etc.

I nearly bought one a few weeks ago but i couldnt justify the cost. Ended up with a new Speedmaster and accessories for £4k cheaper.
For me this bike is the replacement to the Sportster and at £16.6k 😱. However, i know it isnt really and the Sportster S and the Nightster are supposedly its replacement. Its closer to a Sportster than the other 2 yet priced out that segment.
