  • In this lesson I have explained all the leg muscles anatomy in the anterior compartment including their origin and insertion which also easily explains the function of the muscle.

    Here we have tibialis anterior, extensor hallucis longus, extensor digitorum longus, fibulars tertius. These muscles have the function the foot inversion and eversion. They also preform the dorsiflexion of the foot.

    Helou.. It's a good thing that you write and do these kind of videos.. Thanks about it.. Hey my head came across with this idea that if it's possible to write each muscle or bone name while the certain muscle is pop it up and you talk about that muscle or bone and it could be written on the video with the pointer or stripe as well I would be glad and i believe that others might benefit it as well.. Anyhow keep up the good work.. =)

    Is the the deep fibular nerve not the same thing as the deep peroneal nerve? as in its just another name for the deep peroneal nerve? @2:53 he says the tibularis tertius is inervated by the deep fibular nerve whilst the extensor digitorum and extensor hallucus longus are inervated by the deep peroneal nerve

    the tibialis anterior inverts the foot. it does not everts.

      Mam this part is concern only for the anterior compartment of tibia ...
