for the white montofole feathers, you can jump and get a lock on its head, which guarantees the feather drop, from the front of the aeviter you could target the wings and likely get two of them per fight, and can actually target wings in a skell, vigents heads are also targetable from skell, from the front, slightly harder to do since it also likes to target his hands, head is actually two breakable parts, not completely sure which is the part you need to break as so far broke both i think, but should be fine. but for all the stuff that is based on a part drop, breaking that part all but guarantees it will drop for you.
advice for farming the grotto mortifoles. if you find yourself not getting any of the white mortifole feathers, try letting your skell auto attack each one, simply lock on from afar. it appears to actually break off the petals if you lock from a distance, it also shows a seperate lock icon from the close-up top view of the mortifole. approaching one and killing it with only auto-attacking then waking the other ones up by gliding near them during the fight will drop at least one white feather per respawn. the most i got at once doing this method was 5. was able to reach 90 within an hour. please lemme know if it worked for you as i simply found this out on my own
Thanks for all these videos. I finally finished farming all the gear other than the ether sword, so I just need to start making my augments. Starting with these since they're pretty important lol
after grinding for this i've found that the mortifole have two appendages for the feather (same one breaks twice just like the vigent's head) so it's possible to get 3 feathers per mob if you 2hko. also the aeviters drop wings for each arm and tail if you break them all, which can get you 4 wings per mob if youre lucky or have a huge treasure sensor percentage... not sure if the head drops it too, i never got lucky enough to get 5 wings for one. i just used skell insectoid slayer XX augments and auto attacked with sidearms so i wouldnt ohko them. went a ton faster for me :3

The red vigent is the worst for it since only one (2 if you include the tyrant which also drops them) are in the area and is based on time of day. Then of course there's the usual RNG bollocks. Isn´t it just easier to farm Yggralith Zero parts and sell them to get tickets? I just cut of his parts and then let him kill me. So i´m finished at halve of the given time. And i think i get about 700+ tickets in one run.

Imo, that augments not as strong as putting 3 ranged attack tp augments on your ranged weapon.That's 620 TP from one clip, and you could string in your non TP arts in between. If you're a ranged fighter, put your Ranged weapon augment buffs on your melee weapon, or vice versa, since it doesn't actually matter which one its on.
+ShadowX012 Weapon attack + XX would be better actually, ranged/melee attack dont benefit TP arts. Weapon attack only buffs the weapon they are attached to, but you usually do most of your damaging abilities on one weapon anyways, and the support arts/tp gaining arts on your other weapon.
jlandejr And no, I have four TP arts, Killing Machine, Thirsty Edge, Stream Edge, Hundred Shells. With four non tp arts, Seventh Edge, Back Slash, Shadow Strike, Side Slash. I auto between arts, and mostly use my TP to revive party members. You can play this game very aggressively, or extremely passively. The game doesn't reward or punish any play style over another.

And in that time you are doing literally almost 0 damage. Your TP generation would be so incredibly slow compared to these augments. Maybe for gatling gun but the support arts aren't nearly as good as they are on dual guns. You'd be missing Primer, Zero Zero, Ghostwalker, and Early Bird in some builds. I wouldn't sacrifice those to get a little better TP generation + lower damage output + lower survivability. But to each their own!
+Arcyne if your team doesnt have treasure sensor or having bad luck, you can fight them on the ground and break the top flower point. You'll have to jump and lock on to it.
If you equip 3 party members (I haven't tried it with 2) with treasure sensor (the light C&C armor) and fight them on ground targeting their top, theill drop the feather with a 100% chance. The three armors cost about 2,5M gold, but they will help you a lot with anything you may want to farm.
I would just take an ares 70/90 to the yaggralith zero thing and grind tickets till you're maxed out and use them on whatever you need. I think it's a bit easier because you don't have to worry about any RNG and you won't have to go into your menus or check back to the AM console to check how much more you need.
+Kaldaryn I'm late in the reply but 5K tickets is nowhere near enough even for 1 augment. Augment requirements are a little stupid to be honest. Yes i'm aware this is an RPG but not even monster hunter, one of the grindest heavy games out there, is that bad with its gem system.
+Misha Okay, i got six stars now too and it is their heavy armor set. You don't need them at max level, jsut enough to acces that armor set. (Which is Rank 3 i think.)

yeap and if you have tickets you can just buy one of each to unlock it. also there are a lot of guides out there that say to farm telethia for tickets but if you have an ares or some good lv 50 skells farm the nemesis and break its parts and get almost double tickets

+IronFabianSteel Flying over the mortifoles will let you target their heads as well. I found it far more consistent than getting distance from them.
Yeah I was able to auto attack them and break the pedals by aggroing all of them and then flying up to target the pedals.
