This is BRILLIANT! 👍🏻 Most of my friends suffer from a PULL or a SLICE. But, I have all but eliminated these two swing faults by focusing on SQUARING up the SHOULDERS at setup ☝🏻 You can see your feet, knees and hips by looking down, but you can’t see your shoulders. And since you setup (with driver) with the ball just inside your left foot and the right hand is lower than the left on the club, this promotes open shoulders. Then if you TILT, there’s a tendency to open the shoulders again. Lastly, (I’ve noticed) other guys take one last look at the target, which again opens the shoulders. Since I’ve been focusing on squaring my shoulders at setup (or even slightly closed) I’ve been crushing my drives! How come no one ever talks about this? I found this (your video) from THREE years ago. … Maybe time for a refresher 🤷🏼♂️ Keep up the good work. You’ve helped my game a ton! 👏🏻
That's definitely one from the archives, @Parski, but I'm glad to know that it continues to resonate. Nice job with this important setup key! I have made another lesson video along these lines that will soon be published as a KFC Club video for online school members. Am I going to see you there sometime soon? There are plenty of seasoned, low handicap players enrolled in the school who are really enjoying the diagnostic/repair tools as well as the advanced level courses on shot shaping and power/distance. Anyway, keep on crushing it!! TS
It's really easy to say 'square up your shoulders', but what's the best way to actually accomplish this without changing other key set up factors? Remember that ball position, grip and drawing/fading also affect shoulder alignment. Also, the natural tendency is to set up with the shoulders open, simply because the right hand sits below the left hand on the club when you take your stance. The more forward the ball is in your stance, (see driver), the more the shoulders will open up, requiring further setup or downswing adjustments to hit the ball straight. It would be nice to get a more complete instruction on all of these factors. Thank you.
The level of detail you seek is best found in the comprehensive, sequential learning platform of my online school, and it will make for a far more efficient and enjoyable learning process rather than haphazardly trying to piece things together through these channel videos that jump around randomly from topic to topic. The school is where - among many other courses and lessons covering various aspects of the game - you will find in-depth instruction and drills that take you through the entire swing step-by-step, position-by-position from setup to finish. Plus, all my short game courses (putting, chipping, pitching, bunker play), advanced level content, diagnostic and corrective tools for resolving common swing, contact, and ball flight issues, and much more. Thousands of men and women from across the globe - including many seasoned, low-handicap, competitive players and spanning all age ranges from junior to super-senior - are now enjoying the best golf of their lives as a result, and I'm happy to let their unsolicited testimonials tell the story: saguto.golf/p/sagutogolfreviews For a good starting point, here is a link to my FREE mini course “The Top 3 Things You Need to Be a Great Ball Striker” where you can learn some key aspects of the swing system I teach in a more structured manner: go.saguto.golf/ Tom

@@SagutoGolf Ever the salesman lol. I’m just saying it’s an earlier video and you’re a lot different now. Just wondering if you were still developing your own swing feels at the time this was made, or if you feel you had already perfected it back then.
I actually just released a video to my members titled "My Old Swing vs. My New Swing" in which I did a detailed side-by-side comparison. There are certainly some very noticeable differences and improvements. We all pursue that "perfection" thing, tightening up our shot dispersion, adding a few more yards, etc. It's one of the truly great things about this game that keeps us hooked on it. As for "ever the salesman", well - this is my business and a lot of time and energy goes into producing my videos. If I did it all for free this channel would cease to exist. 😎 (But still, what I "sold" to you was a *free* course nonetheless...)
@@SagutoGolf Hey I meant no hate whatsoever. I wish I could have such a business lol. I admire what you’re doing. Keep it up. I’ve been watching a good chunk of your content and I feel like I might make the full switch over to your style. I’m a little hybrid swing right now. Good at certain concepts, terrible at others lol.
No hate taken, LOL!! If that were not the case you wouldn't have gotten this guy - 😎 - in my reply.... There's no harm or "hard sell" in the free course. Give it a look. And if interested here's the story of my “conversion”: th-cam.com/video/PM8lNNrMPEk/w-d-xo.html
Hi Anthony, I don't have that particular "floppy" hat available at the moment. However, you'll find plenty of SagutoGolf apparel - including the "Bora Bora Booney" hat and others - on our online store page: saguto.golf/p/store Thanks! Tom

Bang on the money.
Was this before or after perfecting stack and tilt? Hard for a noob like me to be able to tell from this view. Swing is clean.

I know, alignment is crucial, it's easy to double cross if you take your shot without taking your time
