I don't mind the looks of the tires though I wonder if I would have to edit them manually or the XML Editor can find and edit them?
For real, It's absolutely insane that they would do this rather than give actually usable numbers. This system has often meant my truck decides gets happy settling down and digs into terrain that should be easily traversable because their descriptions mean NOTHING. The community is the real MVPs here I swear.
The fact that the ANK can have dual rear mud tires with this pack is fantastic; I've tested it out, and they retain the great traction with the benefit of being far more stable than the balloon tires. Also, on trucks that would normally use the OHS tires for offroad, you now have wider options.
@@vladvulcan I actually haven't used the JAT OHS yet; there's a wide single mud tire in the JAT set that you can use in place of the vanilla OHS models. I can't remember the designation, but it's the last one in the list, the VI.

I like to spec my trucks for looks as well as performance, so it is great to have some more wheel & tire options especially for the scouts. have seen a few people say this should've been just added to the next season and not DLC, but for myself if $3 helps Saber improve the game even a little bit I feel that it's quite reasonable.
Thank you for this in-depth overview, Ben. You should be rewarded for enumerating all those tyre acronyms and truck denominations without breaking a sweat! Cheers! //Rick
Love all the addition of new customization options, not so much the amount of scrolling that it has added to the garage UI. The single-file list of tires is getting to be as bad as the ever-growing pile of stickers now.
Yes the hardest thing about playing with friends is all agreeing on what mod to use this helps eliminate the need 4 some mods. I generally only use the trailer packs 4 added options with trailers.
While I haven't gotten the DLC myself, I have noticed a sizeable increase in track width in many trucks, to the point of looking rather silly (the White Western Star is a good example). From what I've heard, this is a bug, not an intentional design change.
Yes but mod tire packs have only applied to mods they have made not every truck. And it's nice to have options when playing a little to no mod playthrough
Honestly the vanilla game needed this. Most of the vanilla heavy duty trucks like the almost complete Western star lineup can be as good as the off-road class with mud tires, but the regular game just didn't let you put them on
I rarely comment, but I have to say I don't mind one bit having this pack be pay content. It's cheap and not OP, but helpful. You can definitely play the game just fine without it, but it's also worth the money.

Its like 7 dollars for both packs. Thats amazing. How many other companies would try to gouge you for $10/20 a pop for these DLCs? I like these tires btw. Hopefully they dont nerf them at all.
@Quakez0r Oh, please. They aren't half as overpowered as any shit the modding community has made. And if people haven't beat most of the game by now, they never will.
Well, it's DLC, so the purchase is voluntary. It's not expensive, but it's nice that Scouts finally got decent tires. Only now you can confidently explore maps with them. For trucks, I really didn't like the big balloons in the mud tires, so I ran on off-road tires. Now I had the option of fitting normal mud tires, including twins on the rear axle. Beautiful thing. I'm a fan of MudRunner and SnowRunner, so I don't regret spending a few pennies on additional content in the game.
I don't know your stance on mods but you REALLY should cover the real life mod, I was skeptical at first but after playing I realized it's a completely different (And FUN) game
It's a great mod, but I dislike the random tires he decided to put in. Makes everything OP and defeats the added realism. Also with unpacked cargo weight mod, the loading cranes become useless. I don't know if he managed a workaround.
It’s definitely a cool DLC that’s worth the few bucks. I’m guessing most of these tires got sent over from SR:Expeditions. A lot of them have the same “futuristic” look that the wheels had in the Expeditions trailer. Just a guess tho.
welp, that also happen to the neo falcon scout add in season 11, it has the same modern roof rack model in expeditions, they probably will port some if not all assets of expeditions to snowrunner in the future
I guess tatarin's comparison goes the same way for the two zikz, as they have the same tires but in diffrerent size ? But i could use them at least for additional stability, or as i see its gonna be only for the Tatarin.
Does anyone actually look at the asphalt or ground rating for the tyres when deciding what to equip? If u gonna move a service trailer or a fuel trailer just on a main road then sure, but if u gonna have to drive through even a small puddle do anyone actually use other tyres then the best mud rated tyres?
I do. When the terrain is mostly solid, I'd prefer dirt rating over anything else. And in rare case when there's a lot of asphalt, I want at least 1.0 asphalt grip.
@@vladvulcan Yeah but there is also the problem that in 99% of the times when u try to do main missions or contracts there isent a decently solid path all the way. Super heavy mud areas and water areas are easy to spot and know u likly gonna need mud tyres. But areas where offroad tyres may get through are a coinflip unless u already know exactly how the terrain is gonna be all the way. I don't really mind the idea of the tires in the pack being better rather than just cosmetic. Because you can't "pay to win" in a game that is non-competitive. And especially when compared to the vehicles you can get completely free by using mods. I use modded trucks almost exclusively and honestly a large part of that is just that I don't like the tires on the stock trucks. Sometimes I use stuff that is objectively better than the stock vehicles but the real goal for me is to find the Goldilocks zone where the difficulty is neither tedious nor boring. My standard go-to are various F750 mods because there's nothing more fun to me than sticking a 2 slot flatbed on the back of one and trying to do hauls designed for "real" trucks. 😁
*WARNING* Anyone on Nintendo Switch in Japan or America will not be able to purchase the JAT Pack. Europe has the JAT Pack, America has the Kenworth, and Japan has neither. Also Ben, I pinged you in the Discord just so you’d mention this in the video.
I was always disappointed by the tire selection. It should be very simple. Limited by clearance but all every tire to go on any vehicle that it would fit. I manually made a mod list of all the tires in the game and paste it across all the trucks I use. Some still don't cooperate but the game does a good job sorting that out itself with a simple copy and paste.
This dlc is priced fair . Holy tits a non greedy fair company desicion . Thats rare guys . And lts something i can get begind to increase the games longevity . I recently had to rebuy this game on steam bc im done with epic . And together with this dlc its a refreshing way to replay the game :P
I always make these videos with a wide range of consumers on mind but ultimately SnowRunner is mega value if it hooks you. Even the worst DLC isn't so bad!
Hey, you do realise there are some really cool wheels included as well? I was waiting for this kinda DLC forever. Even tho to be honest this and more should already be part of the game... oh well. At least the price is relatively reasonable.
For each tyre category you will see different tyre choices. Depending on the truck and tyre type you will see names such as OHD or UHD. The name denotes the type while the number, if there is one, denotes the version. So the OHD II has different stats to the OHD I or OHD III.
Jack Tires What I Liked GMC BRIGADIER 8000 didn't get JACK TIRES. Tyre tread HMD II +UHD II front and rear different profile mud and off-road JAT MMD I+II+II Front and rear profile twisted JAT OMD I+II+III Rear double tyres Twisted profile
Looking forward to the new Kenwood video. These tyres do look a worthy addition to a non-modders arsenal. Any chance of a "busted" or a "spoiler alert" in the next vid? Makes us chuckle a lot.

Its less "pay to win", more "pay to fix egregious balancing issues".
What about new rims? Anything new there?
If a person could only play one of the two games what do you all recommend? MuddRunner or SnowRunner?
Definitely SnowRunner, it's the more complete game.
It makes the 963 viable in mud now 😅
it always was good
is there any mods that make the physics similar to mudrunner?
Still waiting for the tires to come to the switch.
I have prayed to the SnowRunner Nintendo gods.
Dose anyone else tires De-spawn and put the original tires back on so upsetting to have mud tires back to highway tires
Never had that, weird.
I hate that they messed up the beacons, they glow but don't rotate like base game trucks..
I have to find ways to challenge myself or I will finish the new maps way too fast
I was hoping something good for the P16 and P512, but original tires are better than the DLC XD
Yep, some of those unique bonus tyres are impossible to beat!
Whats the truck youre using in the intro 😮
*WARNING*
Anyone on Nintendo Switch in Japan or America will not be able to purchase the JAT Pack. Europe has the JAT Pack, America has the Kenworth, and Japan has neither.
Also Ben, I pinged you in the Discord just so you’d mention this in the video.
I saw, sadly I had written it before I got your ping. But I always appreciate this kind of info!
@@ATribeCalledCarsJATs are on Switch, forgot to ping you about it
@@RevolutionFalls Cheers for the update.
What truck is pictured at 6:22? Any help is appreciated
I believe thats the Step 33-64 "Crocodile", its a dlc if i recall correctly
Any news on season 12
Nothing yet, but hopefully and presumably soon.
I dont know why i cant find these new dlcs in the ps store
The most expensive tire is the best tire
I'm just really confused at what ohd and umd and the likes all mean.
For each tyre category you will see different tyre choices. Depending on the truck and tyre type you will see names such as OHD or UHD. The name denotes the type while the number, if there is one, denotes the version. So the OHD II has different stats to the OHD I or OHD III.
Jack Tires What I Liked
GMC BRIGADIER 8000 didn't get JACK TIRES.
Tyre tread
HMD II +UHD II front and rear different profile
mud and off-road
JAT MMD I+II+II
Front and rear profile twisted
JAT OMD I+II+III
Rear double tyres Twisted profile
I have seen at least ten videos about this pop up in my suggestions, but I refused to watch until you released yours.
Now that is the kind of dedication I love. Thank you for waiting, not always easy to balance all games on one channel!
Looking forward to the new Kenwood video. These tyres do look a worthy addition to a non-modders arsenal. Any chance of a "busted" or a "spoiler alert" in the next vid? Makes us chuckle a lot.
I did the seismic vibrator 'lol', hope that works! Kenworth incoming soon.
They're still making content for this game? Lol, guess I'm downloading it, again!
Until the year 2150 at least.
@@ATribeCalledCars I might as well just leave it on my hard drive, this time. Streaming some music while playing snowrunner is a premium, cathartic experience that other games, with maybe the exception of farming simulator, fail to emulate.
Not loving the 54s for 605
Shows how good this game has been when a technical analysis video of tyres is getting 54k views 😂❤
Best DLC, should have been part of original game.
My tires don’t even show up and I downloaded the DLC
Weird. Try to check it's installed again via the relevant store then maybe quit the game and load it again if you have something like Quick Resume.
@@ATribeCalledCars Thanks, I had to uninstalled the DLC and restart my Xbox completely so it fixed it 🙂 Thank you very much for the reply. I must say? Those tires are pretty sick. Lol.

@@ChrisJones-yu9rz Much appreciated!
any simple summarized explanation to me like explaining to a baby?
So, you're still a Man? Good to hear, mate.
Last time I checked!
Hello
Herro.
Where do you go once you’ve hit the bottom of the barrel….
To another deeper barrel.
I dont understand why this cost money they have added tyres before and cosmetic items already i mena i have bought it becahse its cheap but it still should have been free
I like the new variety, still wont buy it. Devs arent getting my moola till they fix coop
I really don't believe it will happen at this point but it really should if Saber wants as many sales for its next game as possible.
The game is 3 years old and completely unplayable on Xbox series X.
@user-ln2pi6zr7w Sad times. I did notice things improved for me on Series X but I have not touched it for a while since upgrading my PC.
@@ATribeCalledCars you should play this trash on the series x so you can see what we’re dealing with. It’s absolutely pathetic at this point that the devs can’t fix ANYTHING, Not even “minor” issues as they call them, NOTHING.
@@jeffreysmith7417 I shall give it a go. Wasn't so long ago, but only takes one update to ruin things right.
@@ATribeCalledCars mine has been broken for 1 year and 6 months.
Blurry textures, SDR, struggling FPS, video settings don’t read properly/save after starting the game. Now 2 play throughs crash/dashboard immediately upon loading in and I start to see the truck. Another one crashes/dashboards every 3-15 minutes. It’s really getting fucking old with how long it’s been with absolute ZERO fixes for the Xbox Series X platform while every other platform is getting fixed and better. Ours gets worse with EVERY update. It’s criminal at this point.
