Yes I purchased a Tarot deck and a beginner's book from Amazon about a year ago. I can confirm everything you said in this video is absolutely correct. I also do an opening and closing ritual with my Tarot, I come into the session with intention of a clear question and respect... the readings are amazing and on-point... then I close the session with gratitude. Tarot consistently amazes me with confirmations. I still do not understand HOW this happens. I do the Celtic Cross spread the most as it digs into the energies the best. One more thing: I enter each session being open, and you have to have integrity to read what's there not what you wish for. Also, I don't explore other people's energy without asking permission... I assume that it is proper etiquette. I'm still very new to all of this... Maybe someone has more information or advise for me
@@tashwuzhair The opening and closing thing is something that I came up by myself, I didn't read it in a book, but I thought long and hard before I made the decision to buy the book and deck that I would respect the Tarot as something that is not a game or toy to play with. Maybe it is my approach that gives me the results that I get? The other thing I do before I take the cards out is I make sure the table surface is clean. Again it is focus and intention that you start the session... after all you're reading energies, set the energetic tone! And when I'm finished I say "thank you Tarot for the reading, I now close the session" and I put the cards away in the nice bag that comes with the deck... I don't leave them out after a reading is complete. Again, this is how I do it... The Deck I have is the "Magic Seer" (Large Tarot cards borderless Tarot) the book is "How to Read Tarot - A modern guide" By Jessica Wiggan... there's probably better books out there, but I figured... you have to start somewhere this is my starting place. Hope all that helps you on your journey should you decide to take it.

Yes, I have been using tarot to help me interpret my dreams. I write my dream in my journal, then pull 5 cards asking why I had the dream, what issue was brought up, what I am being asked, and what actions to take to heal or solve the issue. Then I notate the cards I got in the journal so I can access them later. It is helping me learn the meanings of the cards and the language of my subconcious!
Yes🙌 tarot cards found me and never left. I used them long before the understanding that I’m in a spiritual closet. And, exactly understanding that I want to build my career on the tarot readings a few years later swung opened the door of my spiritual closed for me 🙏

Many years ago, I was Greek Orthodox and I had a tarot deck. I mentioned this to my spiritual Father and his answer perplexed me for quite a long time as, he knew I was psychic and needed to learn to listen to my higher self. He said: " you don't need them, through them away or put them somewhere that you won't think about them". Now at the time I was offended and a bit annoyed.... But now I know why.... Bless him, he was right.. Everytime I have been drawn to my decks... I already know the answer... the wonderful thing that people don't know about GOC is that they do recognise gifts; healers, clairvoyants etc all receive teaching and guidance during confession... I learned so my from my spiritual Father and I know that he knew that one day I would leave the church never to return. However I do love doing readings for others, always have and always will... 😍😍
Same thing, dear sister, plus my GOC elder (without asking him, but he knew I was perplexed about it) ambiguously answered "just stick to the Light". Years later, I feel as you do, he just want to pinpoint no addiction to "tools"

This is why I stopped being religious... certain things just didn’t make sense anymore... when I was going through trauma I ran to religion but it never helped... Spirituality has helped me soooooo much and I love to know that my ancestors are in the afterlife fighting and routing for me

It's unbelievable what we managed to create! It was one of my hardest moments in my life ready to give up, things come up in a way that I had the chance a person "read" my coffee and he saw literally the future and revealed to me a lot of stuff that I didn't know and gave me great advice, of course he told me thinks can be changed it depends in my actions But 1 year now and every single think he said it came true ...I was amazed! Also one day I was watching here on TH-cam tarot reading the lady said the same things with different words!! Of course nothing happened how I thought it would, but it HAPPENED! Life is so strange sometimes but for sure We are so blessed and loved every second of it🥰

Christina you really are such a healthy source for understanding all things spiritual. a general thought for anyone who may find it helpful,, when a spiritual awakening side swipes your otherwise somewhat manageable life many of us turn to tarot readers on TH-cam. If nothing else, you will usually find an understanding group and more informed on the topic of what you are experiencing initially. It really helped. But I had to put it to the side after the first week or so,, mostly because the large population helps at first but it is far to general to really know what this experience means for you. I began meditating everyday, seriously it started as 5 minutes then eventually 10 then 20 that's where I'm at now. I enjoyed following live chats and just listening but that becomes a part of your belief system whether you know it is happening or not. I would only listen to a tarot reading if I had meditated and I always listen to the first one that came up from the algorithm. I truly enjoyed just connecting with so many people who I can relate to but I took the readers warnings seriously and didn't let it become something that I turn to to that made me feel better. Just a thought you may try it.
I have been reading tarot almost 1 year and i can say is true everyone you said, for the religious background that everyone have been practicing around the world was really hard and umconfortable for me hearing comments that i was wrong using reading tarot cards because God doesnt that kind of practices but i have to say those spiritual skills changed my life forever! I had to change my mindset too and accepted was another way to hearing my guides.

Beautifully said. Yes we have conscious mind, subconscious mind and then our ultimate conscience. Tarot can give you info from conscious and subconscious but the real deal is your conscience. Your inner voice. Its so synchronous that i came across this video and one of the posting from an astrologer and psychic same day.
Christina, I appreciate you so much for saying that religion is a form of control, I grew up Catholic and then one side of my family switched to Baptist when I was younger because that's the religion my dad chose to follow so he and I were baptized when I was 9 and the rest of the Catholic side of the family acted like we were pariahs for so long and to some extent they still do but I broke away from all religion for awhile and started looking into where some religions came from and started seeing how much control they exert over people's lives so now I follow a very spiritual journey rather than a religious one, and I've never felt more at peace with myself. I've seen some religions that completely cut out members of their family just because they no longer follow the church's guidelines like Jehovah's witnesses and Catholics and honestly anything that builds a wall between me and my loved ones feels almost cult like in the way of control they have to have and I've never understood how people can just blindly follow a rule that just doesn't make sense other than to make you follow orders. I still pray because I do believe in a higher power but to see people acting one way in church when I did attend and then act the way they would normally act the rest of the week just didn't make sense to me, I act the same all the time wherever I am and I read tarot cards for myself for guidance and so many people in my family think that it's evil because there is so much of that stigma put into their minds from a lifetime of following something that they themselves do not fully understand. The irony lost to my family is that if they hadn't treated me and my dad so differently when we converted to baptism then I possibly never would have questioned things because I never understood why we were outcast until my dad said it's because we're Baptist now and the rest of the family is Catholic and I said but don't we have the same God?
They ‘compliment’, that’s a useful way to view these sorts of esoteric practices. I’m often concerned about giving my power away when consulting Tarot, I Ching etc. I love these shorter videos. 🙏❤️

I have been seeing quite a bit of shunning with tarot cards lately particularly within the religious community and it's such a shame and I definitely agree with freeing oneself from the religious templating bc I find that like a hammer, like a car, these are simply tools that we use to help us. So in my journey and growing out past religion, (which I haven't been apart of for a number of years now) I've been seeking and looking at things like tarot cards a bit more recently. Now seemingly as I shed my religious tendencies through the past few years, I've shifted into a very practical approach to life more often than not. Right now I am on the other end of around a 3 year dark night of the soul and I'm starting to seek light and other things that will help me through post my awakening etc. Yet now I see tarot as more like something practical, as a guide or a confirmation perhaps to questions you already have. So I liken tarot almost like going to a psychologist that will simply ask leading questions like, "why do you think that? why do you feel that way?" and give me professional advice at certain interjections. So maybe I'm feeling a certain way or have questions, or want some advice so to speak, and I may seek tarot out to kind of hash my perspective out and get some guidance or advice or a different general perspective from outside myself in a sense, but really I am still working inward and letting tarot help reveal what I already know. Partially I am not seeking it as some mystical spiritual thing so much as more like a way to just vent/get an idea of how to deal with things moving forward at times. And as you stated, it's a compliment and you don't want to be rigid with them so much as you just want to get some general guidance and help to see what resonates. I agree :). So what are your experiences and thoughts about using a pendulum? I am curious because I have been using it periodically for many years now, and it feels a little confusing to me still at times. Also, it is a tool you use with Yes and Nos (?). It has been correct in major things in my life and I can feel some sort of energy moving it, so it comes from "somewhere". I also tested it many times with questions I had no answer to or any desire for a Yes or No. I feel like when we know what we want it easily can affect the energy moving in that direction. Here comes a thought that our higher self knows what we need so it would move the energy in that direction even though we are not aware of the answer. Well, this is what comes up for me at least :). Christina, I appreciate you so much for saying that religion is a form of control, I grew up Catholic and then one side of my family switched to Baptist when I was younger because that's the religion my dad chose to follow so he and I were baptized when I was 9 and the rest of the Catholic side of the family acted like we were pariahs for so long and to some extent they still do but I broke away from all religion for awhile and started looking into where some religions came from and started seeing how much control they exert over people's lives so now I follow a very spiritual journey rather than a religious one, and I've never felt more at peace with myself.
I've seen some religions that completely cut out members of their family just because they no longer follow the church's guidelines like Jehovah's witnesses and Catholics and honestly anything that builds a wall between me and my loved ones feels almost cult like in the way of control they have to have and I've never understood how people can just blindly follow a rule that just doesn't make sense other than to make you follow orders.
I still pray because I do believe in a higher power but to see people acting one way in church when I did attend and then act the way they would normally act the rest of the week just didn't make sense to me, I act the same all the time wherever I am and I read tarot cards for myself for guidance and so many people in my family think that it's evil because there is so much of that stigma put into their minds from a lifetime of following something that they themselves do not fully understand.
The irony lost to my family is that if they hadn't treated me and my dad so differently when we converted to baptism then I possibly never would have questioned things because I never understood why we were outcast until my dad said it's because we're Baptist now and the rest of the family is Catholic and I said but don't we have the same God?

So in my journey and growing out past religion, (which I haven't been apart of for a number of years now) I've been seeking and looking at things like tarot cards a bit more recently. Now seemingly as I shed my religious tendencies through the past few years, I've shifted into a very practical approach to life more often than not. Right now I am on the other end of around a 3 year dark night of the soul and I'm starting to seek light and other things that will help me through post my awakening etc. Yet now I see tarot as more like something practical, as a guide or a confirmation perhaps to questions you already have.
So I liken tarot almost like going to a psychologist that will simply ask leading questions like, "why do you think that? why do you feel that way?" and give me professional advice at certain interjections. So maybe I'm feeling a certain way or have questions, or want some advice so to speak, and I may seek tarot out to kind of hash my perspective out and get some guidance or advice or a different general perspective from outside myself in a sense, but really I am still working inward and letting tarot help reveal what I already know. Partially I am not seeking it as some mystical spiritual thing so much as more like a way to just vent/get an idea of how to deal with things moving forward at times.
And as you stated, it's a compliment and you don't want to be rigid with them so much as you just want to get some general guidance and help to see what resonates. Thank you for your wisdom and guidance! :)

I agree :). So what are your experiences and thoughts about using a pendulum? I am curious because I have been using it periodically for many years now, and it feels a little confusing to me still at times. Also, it is a tool you use with Yes and Nos (?). It has been correct in major things in my life and I can feel some sort of energy moving it, so it comes from "somewhere". I also tested it many times with questions I had no answer to or any desire for a Yes or No. I feel like when we know what we want it easily can affect the energy moving in that direction. Here comes a thought that our higher self knows what we need so it would move the energy in that direction even though we are not aware of the answer. Well, this is what comes up for me at least :).
