Jupiter in ♍👧 In Stoychev's contemporary exaltation scheme, Jupiter is both exalted and exiled in Virgo. We think of Virgo as having the 'practical wisdom' of Pallas Athena, accrued through disassembly and critique. I use "Prudence" as a keyword for this placement. I also think of Jupiter's red spot - it's bloody wound - and the tragic splendour of the Priest-King. This burden, like the Sacrifice of Christ (or to a lesser extent, the evangelical counsels of perfection), would most certainly be exalted in the sign of Virgo, the pious nun.
My son is a Pisces sun and sag moon and rising, and has Jupiter in libra in the 11th conjunct MC. He is only 4 but everything has to be BIG with this kid. When I ask him what he wants to be when he grows up he just says HUGE. He takes enormous bites of food (like ridiculously big bites but he just likes it that way 🤷♀️). He also is popular with his friends because he will rig up all the bikes in the play yard so he can pull multiple friends around all at once. Excited to see how his Jupiter plays out through his life. My daughter also has an exalted Jupiter in cancer and is extremely generous, almost to a fault sometimes. Loved this talk, thanks!!
Having children is also an expansion. You're expanding your bloodline and the reach of your family. This was a great episode! Everything was very on track and it felt like even though it was shorter than the usual video, it was still jam packed with information! ♏
The planets talks is such a fantastic series. I took notes and quotes from this one, I’m learning so much and am grateful to have such scholars accessible for free like this. Love the insights on excess of Jupiter and its moderation by Saturn.
It felt good to be back! I also recorded the Neptune episode in the studio with Laura Nalbandian the following day, which is already on Patreon for early access, and then I'll be recording Uranus in the studio with Rick Levine this Thursday!
It’s so interesting that you mentioned @39:00 law of attraction and how it comes naturally to some people with Jupiterian energy just based on their optimistic nature. I’m a Pisces sun, Sagittarius moon, Scorpio rising with 9th house Jupiter in Leo (close to my Leo mid heaven). I very much relate to having an extreme faith and optimism and having things just constantly work out for me. I noticed it really annoy others at times but I view it as nothing short of a divine blessing lol.
I think that this interview may be my favorite that you have done Chris.. Sam and you both have such a deep knowledge of astrology. . Also the harmony that you seem to have with one another created a great flow to this video. I learned more about how Jupiter function in my own life. Having the Sun, Mercury and Jupiter conjunct in Pisces this was particularly meaningful. Many thanks.
Another great episode in this series! I appreciated Samuel's insight about Jupiter return signalling a reward for excellence or a reveal of excess. Thank you :)
Great talk :) . Samuel was a great choice for a guest, love his sincere voice and critical thought approach and his contributions on the old 'Pluto' episode too. As Jupiter is the only planet that exerts a force on the Sun strong enough to pull it from its center point, the themes of expansion / aspiration and deep knowledge maybe in fluid dialogue with the creative will of the Sun. One may imagine that the sweeping effect from Jupiter / Sun opposition to Jupiter / Sun conjunction is a powerful waxing a waning cycle net around our personal planets. I have Jupiter in ♌
the razors edge between humility and accessing your true skills and accomplishments. I see humility is the acknowledgement that I just woke up here, and you should have pride if you did the most with what you were given.
♍Jupiter Virgo in the 3rd. This manifests in speaking 4 languages and analytical skills. Thank you for reminder to appreciate something which might be taken for granted.
Great episode! I've just noticed that the episodes about planets signifying younger people were with younger astrologers but Jupiter episode called for an experienced teacher. I love seeing how every guest embodies the qualities of the planet they talk about
Samuel is pretty fascinating and I hope he appears more in the future. I agree that humbleness is something that gets bestowed on a person rather than something anyone can manifest within themselves and I also agree that it can happen while acknowledging something greater than oneself, though I think it happens more out of fear of something greater than oneself like natural disasters or disease rather than something aspirational. Listening because I have Jupiter in Cancer in 11H and wanted to learn more about it. Great show as always.
VERY excited for this one! i’m a sagittarius rising w jupiter in the 9h and have had the hardest time relating to the heavily religious nature of that placement (we’ll see during my next 9h year lol), and this was a massive help. thanks again for this series, these videos are so enjoyable!
My mercury and Pluto is in Scorpio! So basically if it’s not a DEEP dive in a given topic then I don’t want it…thanks for the 2 Scorpios going deep enough for my brain !!
This episode made me go back and listen to the podcast you did on cusps 3 years ago. Bc Sam is a Sagittarius but he was making suspiciously Saturnian comments (ex: “luck is preparation meets opportunity” Jupiter would never describe luck this way 🤣) I am a self-professed Sagicorn (Dec. 22) so I’m very interested in this topic. Sam’s comments on Jupiter vs. Saturn are like probabilities vs possibilities was PERFECT! I’m constantly oscillating between the two 😩😅
I have Jupiter Conjunct Uranus. I don’t feel like conjunction has been written about well. Nothing that I seem to find online seems very accurate for my observation of this conjunction for me. It’s been a lot of really big accidents that destroyed the entire life that I once knew that comes from this transit. I’ve also considered this the aspect largely responsible from death being my biggest teacher. The death of my friends have served as spiritual awakenings for me. I hate that this is considered such a lucky aspect because I have never really had a lot of luck in my life at all. I don’t consider myself lucky in any shape or form other than the people that have been in my life that have died. I am lucky to have known them and to have had them in my life. Jupiter Uranus is something I’ve been studying intently since 2008 when I first learned about it more in depth! It’s influence on music and culture is huge, though I made a 45 minute montage of music that came out during this Conjunction over the years, and there are some really interesting themes that you might not even think about being very Jupiter Uranus until you think about them. For example, birds, raccoons, or other wild and free animals being a theme on many albums for decades during this conjunction. I am not really looking forward to next year’s conjunction. The one in Aquarius killed my friend Kim after a high speed car chase. The one in Pisces killed my friend Melissa. Both in car accidents ironically at my birth the car did not work and had to be pushed to the hospital by my entire family, there was not an accident that I was aware of except for the fact the car didn’t work because there was a giant blizzard. The next one is Squaring my sister’s sun and my other sisters north node so I’m like 100% convinced they will die in a car accident. Mercury again will be retrograde. Mars will be squaring my sister’s nodes of fate. Saturn will be on my Venus. Pluto is on my sister’s descendant. Jupiter has always been death for me. Neptune will be on my sister’s Saturn. It will also be a Mars return for me. Very very scary stuff.
I enjoyed this conversation so much!! I would love to see the two of you do a discussion on the Book of Revelations from an Astrological and Christian perspective.
Pisces asc with Jupiter in Libra (8th) 🙋🏽♀️ I wonder if stooping or crouching where there is no necessity (Lilly) relates to making oneself small? Reluctance to stand out or general anxiety about this or, ones ability, capacity, knowledge/wisdom? Fabulous episode ty 🙌🏽
I loved this podcast. Last night I have order my Jupiter return from Samuel's website. I am soo impressed how the report was very insightful and easy to resonate Jupiter's each cycle. Now I know why transiting Jupiter conjuncting my Sun, Mercury and MC felt so intense because It was during the Jupiter square cycle. I was soo disappointed of how intense the anxiety was. Now I hope to be ready for all the cycles.
Loved this episode! As a Sag rising, 9th house Sun/Mercury/Part of Fortune, Jupiterian themes show up very strongly in my life. Thank you Chris and Sam for such a thorough, insightful, deep dive into Jupiter!
Sam has a Jaimini Yoga coming from his Jupiter in Virgo. Its called the "Mighty Body" yoga. This yoga gives him an advanced ability to retrieve information and will also cause his body to have above-average capabilities. He would have noticed this while playing sports or doing physical things.
Really appreciate your work Chris! I have Saturn-Jupiter♌ opposition in my natal chart and both square my natal sun. All sorts of push and pull situations haven't been too subtle in my life :) Understanding my birth chart has helped me to make peace with myself. Thank you!
FANTASTIC video! I loved the chemistry between Samuel and Chris, I found it flowing and really well paced. In contrast to the Mars video, the guest was not very well spoken, found myself struggling keeping my focus on the talk.
I was thinking of the concept of privilege, and the conversation that I had with Diana Rose Harper about that in episode 258. A little later in the discussion with Sam in this episode I remembered the word and bring it up again.

Jupiter in Taurus rules my Asc and is square Pluto and the nodes. Though I intended to remain childless, I could not find an effective method of birth control and was blessed with six children. Also, Taurus is my sixth house sign and I have a history of overcoming serious health challenges.
I have Jupiter in scorpio in the 5th house. Sagittarius stellium in 6th house with moon and midheaven conjunct in pisces in 9th. I identify heavily with Jupitarian energy. Great episode, thank you for such stellar content. Amazing.
My daughter was born during my Jupiter return. Jupiter is in my 5th house. I never really wanted children before but now I can't imagine otherwise and consider myself really lucky that I got pregnant and am now able to experience what it is to be a mother.
13:00 Love this description of Jupiter associated with Mercy and Grace. I have Jupiter in Pisces ♓opposing my Sun.. I can vividly recall the moment I felt touched by Grace at an early age. It came with a recognition that I was 'apart' from my family. I should look into which year this occurred...over 45 years ago, born in '62. And being in the 10th house , "Preparation meeting Opportunity" describes well how I have obtained employment. I don't think I've ever gotten a job by applying, but through word of mouth and being prepared for opportunities as they presented themselves. Most notably during its return to Pisces in 98/99 when, as an older graduating college student, with children, I was determined to be a 'must hire' by a company that I went on to work for, and comfortably provide for my children as a single parent for almost 15 years.
This is so interesting and helpful. Sam knows his stuff! I love his honesty too. Fellow Pisces ♓️ rising here 🤗⭐️ My Jupiter is in 6th house 🙈, in Leo, conjunct Regulus ☀️. Night chart. My Jupiter returns have never lived up to the hype of many astrologers. They’ve usually been a huge disappointment. Now I understand it’s the benefic out of sect and cannot do such great things trapped in the 6th. Thanks for an honest appraisal of Jupiter 🙏❤️
I also have jupiter in the 6th pisces rising! ughh it's been pretty crap. conjunct the south node. I have really severe health issues but luckily I finally found the solution and I'm heading towards the surgery next year. I still want to learn more about having chart ruler jupiter in the 6th
I have Pisces Rising as my Solar Return Rising sign with Jupiter in early Pisces & Neptune late Pisces in the 1st house. Very fertile placement from my understanding. My solar return started on June 9th. I found out last night that I’m pregnant! My man was ecstatic when I showed him the test. My last pregnancy was 12 years ago. I’m so happy. It was unexpected but totally jazzed and ready.
Jupter in Virgo 12H day chart and what I find very much a part of this is my pure unadulterated resilience to things that come my way which I am MORE than happy with.
Enjoyed this podcast very interesting. Jupiter in Pisces 9h trine Neptune in the 5h 10°( no drink or drugs). I love the guru so much that I painted him in oil on a 4ft canvas some years ago and also painted Saturn too. Cancer ascendant.
Jupiter episode being uploaded right as I was thinking that I'm looking forward to the Jupiter episode and then by the end I realize that Rob Hand also is a Cancer Rising with Cancer Jupiter n Pisces MC with moon trine ascendant, gave me a bit of inspiration though aside from that there's not much similarity ;) But also I just love Sam Reynolds's insight and have enjoyed following him on Twitter for similar reasons 💜
Jupiter on Leo Ascendant, Sun on Taurus Midheaven 10H here - when I was very young I was called bossy. It wasn’t until a few people called me arrogant and I was getting into astrology, that I took a closer look at what all that was about. Pluto conjunct Jupiter + Mars/Chiron opposite Jupiter made for even greater impact on others than I had ever realized. My spiritual practice over the decades has incorporated being able to acknowledge with humility the gifts I’ve been given and exercise this native magnanimity towards my own and others’ upliftment.
My Jupiter in saggy in 12th saggy raising. Happens at same time with Saturn in Capricorn..two people passed 2019...that was just the topper. More happened..then next year covid been off work year half. I got to grieve...I wouldn't say .it was lucky.
love Sam Reynolds and love this deep dive on Jupiter 🖤 Sag rising, Jupiter rx in Pisces. Lot of spirit and nemesis is also Pisces. Jupiter in 4th trine Saturn in cancer 8th Sun opposite Jupiter it’s tempered and idealistic without a doubt
Hi all, I'm a Sagittarius ♐ Sun, Mercury, and Mars with Jupiter in Virgo ♍ in the 3rd house. I have been paying attention to Jupiter this year as I've been in a Sagittarius profection, but generally there's always a bunch of Jupiter in my life. I have 12 siblings, and grew up in an evangelical household. My mom has a 4 planet Pisces stellium, and my dad has a 4 planet Sagittarius stellium. My kids, one has a Sag sun, the other a Sag moon. and, of course, I'm an astrologer. thx for this Jupiter episode! xo
I’m so new to this. So much to learn! Virgo sun, Aries moon, Aquarius rising, Jupiter in libra (7th house)? With moon opposing Jupiter and Mars conjunction.
Thank you so much! I have Jupiter in the 1st (in Taurus) and I really resonated with the part of using sheer optimism to push my reality to greater and greater heights. Facts. :)
lol I can't explain it but I just want to give Jupiter a big hug!!! Also I liked learning Jupiter deals with law. I recently met someone who had their doctorate in law and had Jupiter in Sagittarius 5H sextile Libra Pluto in the 3H.
Lol. I grew up on a dairy and then a beef farm with 2 siblings. My father is now 97 and I am the youngest and am 57. My Jupiter is in Taurus in 4th whole house. We were expected to work on the farm and we did. When I was 15 my father and I took in ALL the hay. 7500 square bales. @40-50lbs each. We each handled each bake twice. I was the strongest 15 year old girl for miles. We have benefited financially through early inheritances.♉
what about Jupiter in Aries♈?😊 am I one lucky guy here or have to watch out my impulsiveness? thanks for the essential podcast as always, dear Chris! oh, Jupiter in 11th house btw😎
Interesting...because for me my jupiter return years (i am 62)..have been years when i have had to rise up to to a challenge and be the best i can be...so yes big and expansive but definately not chilled out easy times..
thank you for this great podcast, I just wish it didn't finish :)) Pisces rising here with MC in Sag, but Jupiter in Capricorn (love to travel and study)
I have Jupiter conjunct Venus conjunct the Moon in Libra in the 4th house so i have been blessed with lots of money even though i spend money like water. My ascendant is Cancer exactly square that conjunction but i have a really fortunate life and feel very blessed.
I have Jupiter in Capricorn on my descendant (cancer rising) with Saturn in Scorpio separating from a square to Mars in Aqua. I can’t really say I feel any of the benefits Jupiter provides. As a matter of fact, during the two Jupiter returns that happened in my adulthood I ended two relationships.
Question: Did the discussion not go over Jupiter sign and house placement significations like prior planetary episodes, or did I miss something? My chart ruler is bummin’.
really enjoyed this. my jupiter is in a stellium alongside saturn and pluto in libra in my 10th house. jupiter and saturn are conjunct, and less than a second apart, in the early degrees of libra. pluto wanted a little space and is closer to the end of the house. my sun and mars strongly oppose jupiter, as well.
Pisces asc Libra sun 8H Leo moon 6H Jupiter sag :)) 10H On my 3rd and 4th Jupiter returns the sheer amount of international travel I did grew - I love to travel, and all my career advancements have allowed me the ways and means to travel to many places. My natal Jupiter opposes Saturn - so I notice as I maintain discipline towards my education and fulfill my professional goals, Jupiter blesses me with long distance travel :))

In Stoychev's contemporary exaltation scheme, Jupiter is both exalted and exiled in Virgo.

My man was ecstatic when I showed him the test. My last pregnancy was 12 years ago. I’m so happy. It was unexpected but totally jazzed and ready.
Congratulations!
so good to see Sam...awesome show!
Jupter in Virgo 12H day chart and what I find very much a part of this is my pure unadulterated resilience to things that come my way which I am MORE than happy with.
I'd love insight on why Jupiter is best suited in certain houses. Such as the 12th house.
Is it because of the spiritual aspect of Jupiter?
Thank you for the podcast. I have my Cancer Rising conjunct Moon conjunct Jupiter Opposing Uranus, Neptune, and Saturn. This helps a lot.
Enjoyed this podcast very interesting.
Jupiter in Pisces 9h trine Neptune in the 5h 10°( no drink or drugs). I love the guru so much that I painted him in oil on a 4ft canvas some years ago and also painted Saturn too. Cancer ascendant.
Jupiter episode being uploaded right as I was thinking that I'm looking forward to the Jupiter episode and then by the end I realize that Rob Hand also is a Cancer Rising with Cancer Jupiter n Pisces MC with moon trine ascendant, gave me a bit of inspiration though aside from that there's not much similarity ;)
But also I just love Sam Reynolds's insight and have enjoyed following him on Twitter for similar reasons 💜
Really appreciate the touching on the Law of Attraction in this - such important points made! 🙏❤⭐
love Sam Reynolds and love this deep dive on Jupiter 🖤
Sag rising, Jupiter rx in Pisces.
Lot of spirit and nemesis is also Pisces.
Jupiter in 4th trine Saturn in cancer 8th
Sun opposite Jupiter
it’s tempered and idealistic without a doubt
I recently met someone who had their doctorate in law and had Jupiter in Sagittarius 5H sextile Libra Pluto in the 3H.
im so happy to have come across your channel!
The Astrology Podcast in Jupiter Chris & Samuel Listening from Mass USA TYVM 💙 Chris Samuel
Sun in Taurus, Leo Rising, and Jupiter in Aquarius. So it's been -- interesting.
I have my Sun in Pisces, Moon in Sagittarius with Sagittarius rising. Natal Jupiter in Scorpio 12th house. It is a night chart.
This was awesome
I’m a sag rising having my 5th Jupiter return in Aquarius 3rd house.
Thank you
Liam Gallagher has sagi rising with Jupiter in 1st house...he is extremely confident to the point it is even too much lol
what about Jupiter in Aries♈?😊
am I one lucky guy here or have to watch out my impulsiveness?
thanks for the essential podcast as always, dear Chris!
oh, Jupiter in 11th house btw😎
Interesting...because for me my jupiter return years (i am 62)..have been years when i have had to rise up to to a challenge and be the best i can be...so yes big and expansive but definately not chilled out easy times..
thank you for this great podcast, I just wish it didn't finish :)) Pisces rising here with MC in Sag, but Jupiter in Capricorn (love to travel and study)
Yes! My time to shine… Jupiter in Cancer in the 11th house 😁
Thank you guys! A good one!! (like all your videos Chris)
I have Jupiter conjunct Venus conjunct the Moon in Libra in the 4th house so i have been blessed with lots of money even though i spend money like water. My ascendant is Cancer exactly square that conjunction but i have a really fortunate life and feel very blessed.
I have a night chart
LEO RISING, with Jupiter in 1st house, SAGITTARIUS SUN and SCORPIO MOON!*
Sag rising. Jupiter in 4th.pisces and four Scorpio Stellium in my 12th..💕💕🌹🏹💫💫💫💫
So grateful, thank you! ♈️ Jupiter in 11H.
Can someone link the timestamp of when they start talking about Natal Jupiter Retrograde placement?
A very useful podcast. I'm experiencing my 6th Jupiter return right now (29 Aquarius)
hi Chris, there is a problem with subtitles, it is in english but words are like from another world:D COuld you please check and correct. thanks
Hope you can talk about Jupiter Retrograde in natal chart
THANK YOU!!! This series is amazing!
Aww too short! You guys need to do a part 2!! 😂
Pisces asc
Libra sun 8H
Leo moon 6H
Jupiter sag :)) 10H
On my 3rd and 4th Jupiter returns the sheer amount of international travel I did grew - I love to travel, and all my career advancements have allowed me the ways and means to travel to many places. My natal Jupiter opposes Saturn - so I notice as I maintain discipline towards my education and fulfill my professional goals, Jupiter blesses me with long distance travel :))
Lovely session 👍 great points 👍 enjoyed listening 🎧🙏
YES! Thank you guys ❤🎉❤
I have similar placements, sun on the cusp with 1122, Leo moon and scorpio mercury station direct, Zeus star in the fishes, with the bull rising.
Scorpio ♏ Jupiter in the 5th!
