Nuwe Blare Homestead is a homestead in the Arizona desert. We (try to) grow our own food with our desert garden, we raise chickens and ducks for eggs, and we build the things we need. Wow what a job!!!
It was! But we're really glad to have water again!
We used submersible pumps on the ranch. We used plastic pipe that was thick walled and light so we pulled the pumps by hand to replace the motor when needed. Some of them were over 200 feet deep, but we could still pull them out with block and tackle. They really worked well and lasted a long time. Hope this replacement did not cost you an arm and a leg. It sure pumps a ton of water, your garden won't run short and get thirsty. Sorry you had to put the $ in for a new one, but it should last for years.
It was reasonable, and the well gentlemen were fantastic.
