We can't mencion great bass tracks without telling about Ashes in Your Mouth. As a guitarist, i'm totally able to afirm: the melody is incomplete without bass, principally in the chorus. Bass isn't all about of crazy riffs, but also about the chef touch. The best bass track is the one where the bass is subtle, but hide a lot of secrets and also his meaning. A nice example is Washington is Next, in the intro part.
Good transition, good audio quality, but it will be better if you increase little bit bass volume because we want the bass sound. Overall good video and awesome playing.
David Ellefson is actually a very tight Bass player.
Almost underrated. He is one of my favourite bassists, he and Jason! (I love the sound of pick)
Fatal illusion to Five Magics transition is amazeballs.
That low E ringing sounds amazing
im starting bass soon, this video is exactly what i need in terms of motivational stuff.
For pick-playing David Ellefson are among the best in the business...Dave wrote most of them though
And it is!
How's it going a year later?
I’ve been playing just about 45 years so I’ll tell you two things.
1. Don’t start with this stuff.
2. Leave the pick for guitar.
@@Daddy53751 that’s a little closed minded. I’m not sure how long ellefson has been playing for but he was pretty successful with a pick.
The bassline in wake up dead follows the drums and continues the riff while the guitars ring out, otherwise great
Wake Up Dead is wrong
But I'll take it
True
Those transitions are absolutely amazing
Deserves alot more views!
I really wanted that instrumental version of Chosen Ones
ellefson had it all , the look the style the knowledge a full package
Those transitions tho. I hope you get more views! Great stuff!!!!
Awesome Performance and tone!
