porthos76 I'm a big fan of moth into flame and spit out the bone. James finally went back to doing a little bit of growling and it gives off a kill 'em all vibe just without it sounding raw. They really went back to thrash with it and is certainly a step up from death magnetic.
it's definitely more thrash than anything they've done in a while, but I feel like although there were some good riffs it felt like they were just the thrown together sometimes. Dave's riffs feel more organic. Vocal wise, yeah I did hear some hints of the mighty Hetfeild of the past.

3:46 one of the sickest and heaviest riffs known to man! The first time I heard it I was blown away and Gar Samuelson of course greatly contributed to making it as awesome as it is
I like how he structured it so all the songs flow together seamlessly, almost like this is one big Megadeth Pro-Metal song.
Megadeth has definitely been way more consistent quality wise over the years than Metallica by far.
porthos76 I don't know, hardwired was an amazing album
It was their best in years, but still only eh. Hardwire was the best song on it imo.
porthos76 I'm a big fan of moth into flame and spit out the bone.
Josepi It helps that the album was written in standard tuning so James' voice is pushed to match... Sadly they are performing it all downtuned.
Perfect!
You look like magneto bro
Btw you’re a legend
holy fuck!! you just reminded me again how much I loved Megadeth and Nick, I will be on a megadeth roll now. it's 1am btw..
