I really liked that video because at times Shaly & Dah Sol, for once, don't speak to us as if we were newcomers to the game. Little Surprised no one suggested Ribbon. I just finished my 5 week slog to farm 5 Ribbons and they are invaluable in the Arena and were super helpful in Trials.Snow's Champion Belt is helpful for newer players with 30 Def and 30 Atk. [Or Shine's Quick Assault which also includes helpful evade.] Ingus's Letters and Arms is super useful for Hyrbid units and Mages to boost up Mag and that;s a 3 star unit.

Hmmm true... but I have gotten a boatload of Kefka where as I only have 2 Seven, so that's why I went there. I actually thought of Sazh, but that's just pure evasion, which while excellent, I preferred to mention Shine as you also get the bonus Atk with it. But regardless, it's a fair point to mention him too.
This. Ribbon is always my first recommendation (well, after dual wield of course....). I can't tell you how much that ribbon has helped me since i got it. Slap it on your healer or whoever cures status ailments on you team and you wil never fear status ailments again. Also i think the Mystic Skull is really good. Its great for supports like Rikku and 9S who lack MP refresh and have great LB they want to use a lot.
Here are 5 TMR's (by what it does) I prefer (a couple I agree on)... 1. Discernment, Ribbon or Goddess' Protection (Seven/Kefka/Tilith). Stat boosts and equipment mean NOTHING if one is hit with Cursed Card, Fire Flask, Dance of Death or Hazardous Shell and they lack the means to stop what those abilities do. 2. Equip whatever (Firion, Charlotte, Fang, et al) - this helps whatever unit become a game changer in whatever you need them for. 3. Rikku's Pouch. A TMR I am actually working on at the moment. 4. Dual Cast/Dual Wield. It was too tough of a call for me to make, so I picked both. A game changer for the right unit. 5. Twenty-sided Die (Sazh). Anyone that has this has an improved evasion rate. Some arena folks will have trouble with landing damage on anyone who has this on at least one in the opposing team.

I’m really happy with pod 153. The 2 turn damage mitigation is really useful as is the chaining Attack and the chance for extra drops. I agree with a few other comments and I think you should review your favorite limits next.
I feel like the whole "JoJo doesn't fit" could simply be fixed by having him start these kinda segments.. something like "As a new player, I'm having a lot of trouble figuring out what TMR's to get".. I know they could do it in a much more elegant way, but that would actually make it a lot less awkward and his reactions wouldn't be completely out of place
I can't deal with Jojo "newbie" role, he is not fit for that role and the synergy is thrown off. I remember when Shaley was starting off and it was fine for explaining.

Ribbon and other TM with same effect are utterly priceless. Kefka is fairly common for many players to pull as well so not generally a major undertaking to obtain this one.
Nope. The awakening of all the 7* units is the same. You need 2 5* base units maxed out into 6* lv.100 and then sacrifice one to make it the 7* awakening material. And then, there's also the brand new "Super TMR" which cannot be macro-ed, nor farmed through TM moogles since you need to fuse two more same 7* units into the original one to obtain it.
You're too harsh about it, dupes will come quite frequently in JP, and on the plus side, STMR that needs 6 dupes are just SUPER ULTRA luxury and won't be a necessity but just way to hype the whales. You'll do the content without them no matter what.
Ive been playing a year and a half and have only managed to unlock 2 TMR. Lordly Robe, I am a big fan of this equipment from the series. It imbues auto-protect, auto-shell and +35 to Magic and Spirit. My only problem was I wanted it for Terra but she couldnt equip it so Ramza wears it instead. Ribbon, ICONIC accesory that slightly boosts Magic and Spirit but nulls all negative status effects. I highly recommend both =)
First time I watch one of the FFBE Official Channel Videos. Let me tell you that only the presence of this "JOJO" thing, makes the video boring. Even the video description says : "Shaly and Dahsol guide you what about TMRs [...]". See? JOJO is there for nothing. Get rid of him now. Suggestion: - Top 5 (or maybe 3) trust master for Physical Attacker, Magic Damage, Support, Tank, and Healer or - Recommendation team composition based on Dah Sol and Shaly play style preference with an explanation of each units
i think dualcast tmr is quickly outdated if you pull any recent, within about 7 months, magic user or a mid tier healer cuz they either alrdy have dual cast or main skills are abilities that cant be be dual casted anyway
Getting these things were not easy, even from characters who are 1 to 2-star. I got a character series request: FF-mystic Quest! One would wield a sword, another a bow, another ninja stars, one an axe, and one uses a mace. Not a bad team. Secret of Mana was AWESOME!
I have my 2nd Rasler's TMR, Patriotic Recall (increase HP by 30%, defense by 20%, Light resist by 30%) at 99%. Just need that 1% moogle tomorrow and my WoL will have two of them equipped :P
Global could have some rate increases on these units since they are being recommended. I know I'd pull for more Zidanes at the least and any 5*'s would be icing on the cake.
we should have a system to TMR farm, expedition like, so people like me that does not farm on pc or uses an external program, it would be great! at the cost of energy through the night, send them to earth shrine like a mision once u fully clean the area, you will be able to "farm x times" or something :/!
The thing that you didn't knew is that Jojo is actually a Shadow Lord whose only purpose is to distract fans from the exiting and waaay cooler stuff that is happening in the JP version.
Both these guys are socially inept, and none of the 3 seem to have a deep knowledge of the game. Couldn't they find some more charismatic people who actually took the time to learn the game to host?
Ok noobs, here is your list of Trust Masteries to farm. 1st get a dual wield of some sort. So Zidane's Dual Wield or Gilgamesh's Gengi Glove. Not Able's Dagger or the Aqua Blade. 2nd, a high damaging weapon for your chainer (preferably with elemental damage). So Excalibur, Brotherhood, or Onion Sword. 3rd, 2-5 status aliment protecting items. So Kefka's Ribbon or Seven's Discernment. After that anything with a 50% modifier or higher. So Chizuru's Blade Mastery, Rem's Love, Patriotic Recall, ect. I recommend defensive trust masteries over offensive ones. Sometime way down the road you will eventually want Rikku's Pouch and TMs that auto-fill Rikku's Limit gadge but by that time you will no longer be a noob and will know when you need them. That is all you need to know, have a nice day!
Dave Smith I agree with the list. At the beginning priority should be dual wield 1-2 minimum. Then focus on elemental weapon like excalibur and hanemaru which can be obtained from 3* units and high att enhancements like blade mastery, increase hp/att combo etc. Then survivability becomes important for challenges like marlboro. So tmrs like ribbon,Rikku's pouch or pod 153. And anything that increases HP. Look for tmrs that offer combo of high HP/Def/Spr. Also there are so more niche tmrs that can be useful in much harder or lengthy challenges like sheratan or agaion. They can guarantee that rikku can use lb every 1-2 turns if needed. Tmrs that increase lb gauge every turn. Then tmrs that has auto refresh like effect can be useful. Especially with bosses that drain your units MP often.
Virginia Hunt Do to the fact that there's no Dagger Mastery materia, I don't recommend equipping daggers for your main damage dealer. If you have a Great Sword Mastery and a Katana Mastery, you will get a bigger bonus equipping a Great Sword and a Katana than you would equipping a Great Sword and a Dagger.
Martin Camilo Cancelado Ruiz I'm not trying to talk down on anyone. I'm trying to call attention to those who know they are noobs and want some direction as far as Trust Masteries. If they follow the advice the video gives then they could feel like they wasted their time with useless TMs a few months down the road.
I can't help but wonder if Jojo has some sort of disability. I don't think people should be so quick to give him so much hate. With that said though, I have to somewhat agree with others and say he might need a replacement. :/ I can't tell if Jojo's faking his knowledge about FFBE (to try to fill the role of a new player more) or if he truly is that ignorant of the mechanics and such within the game. Unfortunately, his awkward behavior can be a little off-putting; as of now I don't think he'd be a great fit to try to help bring new players into the game.

I'm glad they are aware of the low rainbow rates. With the news from jp (albeit a totally different game that we get some sprinkles from) rainbow rates should be increased if we are headed down the same path. If not, (for whatever reason) can we at least all agree that giving GL 3% would be a QoL? :-)
When oh when can we finally get the increased rainbow rates? Can you lower down the rates of off banner units when pulling on a featured banner? I mean, a lot of people are getting annoyed getting too much off banner units and what adds salt to the wound is we get units like clyne, bedile, rhakshasa etc.

Where was letters and arms? They stack and make anyone exdeath especially a really powerful mage such a good tm ring of luci also with evasion and some of the best magic in the game
Wow the developers are so far out of touch with this game is actually pretty astounding. Charlottes TMR? Really? Aiden's gets a top slot too? I mean it's useful but it's not game breaking. Ludmille? Yeah, maybe 8 months ago I'd put it on a top list. At least they got Dual Wield and Genji Gloves, thank christ.
8-9 months probably and it WILL have to happen in GL. Gumi stated at Fan Festa they will no longer nerf GL units compared to JP, so when we get Squall / Rinoa they must be 5*-7* and you know we're dying for FF8 units.
Shaly seem to be the pro-player stand out all among them thoXD for the TMR that I would recommenced to get on is Quick Assault of Shine that give you 10% dodge to physical atk and 30% atk bonus combine with many unit that have initial dodge ability you will get perfect dodge tho and also the the Ring of the Lucii that come from that 5 star unit noctis himself that is one of the best tool for make your unit 100% dodge and counter with holy that deal light damage and recovery your mp back as long as your unit not 100% resist to light damage XD
You acknowledge that TMs are huge so can we make the process a little easier than running endless scripts on third party resources. This method also spends precious lapis which messes with summoning(which is another area Global needs revisiting, cause rates hurt my soul lol) . I’m just saying that for us less whale like go hard players. I believe working on this super slow grind would help the entire player base. I’m not saying i want all my tms in a week but either a daily 1% moogle or even better rates on gradual tm increases or the chocobo expeditions from JP.

smgofdvld difficulty is relative and yeah things are possible w/o 5 stars and such but you certainly have to jump through much more hoops and hurdles to do it. I battled aigion with my only damage being a friend frevia which took many many hours. I have even seen a sheritan all clear with timothy and no 5 stars. But again it’s added difficulty on the user. But they (tms)are important and almost necessary. Also again 20-30% in moogles a month isn’t enough. I’m not complaining at all I’m saying there should be more in game support for this than moogles and dupes especially the need for dupes in the future for the newly announced 7star and super tmrs on jp. Which is terrible design gumi really hope there are more plans for this as it just looks like another cash grab which many players agree is just too much p2w especially if difficulty scales for this.

Great idea. I'm sure they'd love to tell you what programs are best to violate their terms of service. If you read them you'll see macros are a violation for this game.

StarhawkRanger use nox if you play on computer and Frep on android. Although Frep is a paid app for more than 3 repetition. But its cheap. Nox is free and you wont finish your phone's battery.
The other ffbe TH-camrs are much better with this than the official ones. Evil laughter, howl, claic, ex com, and some other guys. TH-camr champe82 has a great way to kill Gilgamesh off super fast easily.
I'm not so sure about dual cast ability...almost all new decent chars got it as a normal skill in their kit and in case you need it for your healer there is the holy wand from sheratan.
Zidane is not easy to get.. I went 6 months without getting one in between hundreds of pulls. I finally got one in an 11 pull that had a rainbow.. I was more happy about finally getting another Zidane. My 100% Trust Moogle went to him
Put 1% moogles into daily quests everyday not just weekends, 1 TMR every 3 months wouldn't hurt, specially for beginners.
but we already struggle at keeping the numbers of rats in ES low.
Make sure you have enough lapis to keep expanding the slots as you start keeping copies of the same units, storing TM, cactuars and pots.

- Excalibur (Cecil) : Large Sword, 120 ATK, Light element
- Dual Wield (Zidane) : Materia, 2 weapons (absolute necessity)
- Tricky Hat (Timothy) : 35 MAG/SPR, 15% PM (must have for mages & healers)

Ive been playing a year and a half and have only managed to unlock 2 TMR.
Lordly Robe, I am a big fan of this equipment from the series. It imbues auto-protect, auto-shell and +35 to Magic and Spirit. My only problem was I wanted it for Terra but she couldnt equip it so Ramza wears it instead.
Ribbon, ICONIC accesory that slightly boosts Magic and Spirit but nulls all negative status effects.
I highly recommend both =)
First time I watch one of the FFBE Official Channel Videos. Let me tell you that only the presence of this "JOJO" thing, makes the video boring. Even the video description says : "Shaly and Dahsol guide you what about TMRs [...]". See? JOJO is there for nothing. Get rid of him now. Another example that the wrong people are taking the good jobs opportunities.
I'm really glad we've got JoJo to represent the new players that are learning and feeling lost in this deep game. The guy just need some time to get the vibe and cool down a little imo.
Ps. I'd like you guys to talk about which equipment to look for (on Missions, Colisseum or TMR). It'd be pretty informative for new players

Ah good , I was gonna say, Genji Glove is a must recommend, IMO, one of the best TMRs in the game.
Plus it means you have ole Greg himself ;)
Suggestion:
- Top 5 (or maybe 3) trust master for Physical Attacker, Magic Damage, Support, Tank, and Healer
or
- Recommendation team composition based on Dah Sol and Shaly play style preference with an explanation of each units
i think dualcast tmr is quickly outdated if you pull any recent, within about 7 months, magic user or a mid tier healer cuz they either alrdy have dual cast or main skills are abilities that cant be be dual casted anyway
I've so many units, I'm focusing on lvling instead of TMR'ing...
And majority of the units look waaay too good to just toss away....

Getting these things were not easy, even from characters who are 1 to 2-star.
I got a character series request: FF-mystic Quest! One would wield a sword, another a bow, another ninja stars, one an axe, and one uses a mace. Not a bad team. Secret of Mana was AWESOME!

I have my 2nd Rasler's TMR, Patriotic Recall (increase HP by 30%, defense by 20%, Light resist by 30%) at 99%. Just need that 1% moogle tomorrow and my WoL will have two of them equipped :P

Global could have some rate increases on these units since they are being recommended. I know I'd pull for more Zidanes at the least and any 5*'s would be icing on the cake.
we should have a system to TMR farm, expedition like, so people like me that does not farm on pc or uses an external program, it would be great! at the cost of energy through the night, send them to earth shrine like a mision once u fully clean the area, you will be able to "farm x times" or something :/!
I like the trust master Patches. I find it very valuable on my WoL. Is there a better trust accessory in your opinion?
The thing that you didn't knew is that Jojo is actually a Shadow Lord whose only purpose is to distract fans from the exiting and waaay cooler stuff that is happening in the JP version.
Both these guys are socially inept, and none of the 3 seem to have a deep knowledge of the game.

Ok noobs, here is your list of Trust Masteries to farm.
1st get a dual wield of some sort. So Zidane's Dual Wield or Gilgamesh's Gengi Glove. Not Able's Dagger or the Aqua Blade.
2nd, a high damaging weapon for your chainer (preferably with elemental damage). So Excalibur, Brotherhood, or Onion Sword.
3rd, 2-5 status aliment protecting items. So Kefka's Ribbon or Seven's Discernment. After that anything with a 50% modifier or higher. So Chizuru's Blade Mastery, Rem's Love, Patriotic Recall, ect. I recommend defensive trust masteries over offensive ones. Sometime way down the road you will eventually want Rikku's Pouch and TMs that auto-fill Rikku's Limit gadge but by that time you will no longer be a noob and will know when you need them. That is all you need to know, have a nice day!
Dave Smith I agree with the list. At the beginning priority should be dual wield 1-2 minimum. Then focus on elemental weapon like excalibur and hanemaru which can be obtained from 3* units and high att enhancements like blade mastery, increase hp/att combo etc. Then survivability becomes important for challenges like marlboro. So tmrs like ribbon,Rikku's pouch or pod 153. And anything that increases HP. Look for tmrs that offer combo of high HP/Def/Spr. Also there are so more niche tmrs that can be useful in much harder or lengthy challenges like sheratan or agaion. They can guarantee that rikku can use lb every 1-2 turns if needed. Tmrs that increase lb gauge every turn. Then tmrs that has auto refresh like effect can be useful. Especially with bosses that drain your units MP often.
The Bowie Knife grants Dual Wield to those who can use knives/short swords. Saves an ability slot.
Dave Smith for someone who call people noobs you forgot that chizuru change her blade mastery for katana mastery
Virginia Hunt Do to the fact that there's no Dagger Mastery materia, I don't recommend equipping daggers for your main damage dealer. If you have a Great Sword Mastery and a Katana Mastery, you will get a bigger bonus equipping a Great Sword and a Katana than you would equipping a Great Sword and a Dagger.
Martin Camilo Cancelado Ruiz I'm not trying to talk down on anyone. I'm trying to call attention to those who know they are noobs and want some direction as far as Trust Masteries. If they follow the advice the video gives then they could feel like they wasted their time with useless TMs a few months down the road.
I can't help but wonder if Jojo has some sort of disability. I don't think people should be so quick to give him so much hate. With that said though, I have to somewhat agree with others and say he might need a replacement. :/ I can't tell if Jojo's faking his knowledge about FFBE (to try to fill the role of a new player more) or if he truly is that ignorant of the mechanics and such within the game. Unfortunately, his awkward behavior can be a little off-putting; as of now I don't think he'd be a great fit to try to help bring new players into the game.
Oh thanks, now I can leave my macro running for 24/7 for an entire month in order to get the ones you reccomend, of course instead of Lapis I'll have to pay a electricity bill and basically not really use my Laptop for college so it doesn't lag and I can achieve such awesome items......just change the mechanics behind them NO ONE LIKES IT

I'm glad they are aware of the low rainbow rates. With the news from jp (albeit a totally different game that we get some sprinkles from) rainbow rates should be increased if we are headed down the same path. If not, (for whatever reason) can we at least all agree that giving GL 3% would be a QoL? :-)

When oh when can we finally get the increased rainbow rates? Can you lower down the rates of off banner units when pulling on a featured banner? I mean, a lot of people are getting annoyed getting too much off banner units and what adds salt to the wound is we get units like clyne, bedile, rhakshasa etc.

Wow the developers are so far out of touch with this game is actually pretty astounding. Charlottes TMR? Really? Aiden's gets a top slot too? I mean it's useful but it's not game breaking. Ludmille? Yeah, maybe 8 months ago I'd put it on a top list. At least they got Dual Wield and Genji Gloves, thank christ.

8-9 months probably and it WILL have to happen in GL. Gumi stated at Fan Festa they will no longer nerf GL units compared to JP, so when we get Squall / Rinoa they must be 5*-7* and you know we're dying for FF8 units.
Precision DancePads im was at fanfesta and they said GL and JP have different views so they will do 7star but it may not be obtained the same way

Shaly seem to be the pro-player stand out all among them thoXD for the TMR that I would recommenced to get on is Quick Assault of Shine that give you 10% dodge to physical atk and 30% atk bonus combine with many unit that have initial dodge ability you will get perfect dodge tho and also the the Ring of the Lucii that come from that 5 star unit noctis himself that is one of the best tool for make your unit 100% dodge and counter with holy that deal light damage and recovery your mp back as long as your unit not 100% resist to light damage XD
You acknowledge that TMs are huge so can we make the process a little easier than running endless scripts on third party resources. This method also spends precious lapis which messes with summoning(which is another area Global needs revisiting, cause rates hurt my soul lol) . I’m just saying that for us less whale like go hard players. I believe working on this super slow grind would help the entire player base. I’m not saying i want all my tms in a week but either a daily 1% moogle or even better rates on gradual tm increases or the chocobo expeditions from JP.

we have alot of moogles we get each month dude what more do you want just play the game the game isnt very hard affter your first couple of months even without 5 stars
smgofdvld difficulty is relative and yeah things are possible w/o 5 stars and such but you certainly have to jump through much more hoops and hurdles to do it. I battled aigion with my only damage being a friend frevia which took many many hours. I have even seen a sheritan all clear with timothy and no 5 stars. But again it’s added difficulty on the user. But they (tms)are important and almost necessary. Also again 20-30% in moogles a month isn’t enough. I’m not complaining at all I’m saying there should be more in game support for this than moogles and dupes especially the need for dupes in the future for the newly announced 7star and super tmrs on jp. Which is terrible design gumi really hope there are more plans for this as it just looks like another cash grab which many players agree is just too much p2w especially if difficulty scales for this.

For your next video can you please review macro programs so we know which one to use to farm the TMRs in this video. I mean you don't really expect us to dedicate our lives to your game, repeatedly farming each tmr 10,000 times, do you?? Do you???
Great idea. I'm sure they'd love to tell you what programs are best to violate their terms of service. If you read them you'll see macros are a violation for this game.
I have friends who has been macro-ing for more than a year. No one has ever gotten banned from Macro. Look it up.

StarhawkRanger use nox if you play on computer and Frep on android. Although Frep is a paid app for more than 3 repetition. But its cheap. Nox is free and you wont finish your phone's battery.
Actually they have said that it's fine to use a macro program and it doesn't violate the terms of service. Injecting units and items however is.

I'm not so sure about dual cast ability...almost all new decent chars got it as a normal skill in their kit and in case you need it for your healer there is the holy wand from sheratan.
Cloudiux most new players cant beat that trial though
but they will in the future and regret wasting their moogles to get an ability you can basically get for free
