A long and rigorous battle awaits anyone who braves this trial. His multiple limbs are also not only for show-- each wields a different weapon, allowing him to perform multiple attacks in one turn!

Doubt they will put their own banners to the test. They are there to fool us ^^
The banner says "Malboro killers" not "Malboro ELT killers".
I love how people are triggered over a simple banner name.
Trance Terra's there for her AoE, CoD i have no clue why she's there, WoL is a damn good tank for this fight and Kefka's there because Ribbon. the banner's actually not that bad of an idea.
One can argue that CoD would be useful with Omniveil for Elemental resistance and Return for status heal (except stone). But yeah, she still wouldn't be that useful.
after reading the comment section... oh come on bros if you got nothing nice to say on one's effort of putting up a vid like this then don't comment at all, yes they did it very late were all aware of that, but for newbies like me who's only a couple of months old in the game this is a good insight, it may not be the best but more vids like this means more chances for newbies like me to do it and get confident with the units we just pulled ^_^
people are hating because they don't understand the idea behind this video. it is here to show that everyone can do the bosses even with "f2p characters" off course there is a orlandeau there but with 500 atk can be any dps , this video is here to show people that you can do the bosses even if you don't have 5* base units and overgeared characters. when i did gilga i spend 1h on the fight was one awesome experience for me was very hard and it was fun as hell now i did aigaion on a 5h fight again with no overpowered characters safe mode and it again was very fun and i am very happy that i did it
the point of people calling them out is for them to go back and check their poorly designed trials in both the robot and Marboro. I mean, a mobile game monster that lasts 4 hours is beyond ridiculous, and the mechanics of Marboro is all over the place for very little pay off in the rewards.
My only gripe here is most strong players(most of them wre whales, for what i know) think that they need 5 star units and strong items and abilities to beat thse type of monsters. I mean, not all of us can easily get 5 star units and rare items. It takes alot of time to make our units stronger.
And I agree with others here. Shaly & Dah Sol are showing that we can beat these bosses without any need of 5 starbunits or OP items andanilities that much.
Sepia MtAnoia exactly i did agaion with zyrus / meliadoul /earth veritas / rikku / friend ace / refia dual cast my units where 4* base all off them only friend ace 5* you don't need to be a whale to pass the bosses the only thing is 4* you take long time just it :D
I agree with Leonardo. I beat Gilgamesh with mostly 3* units the first time or F2P raid units. The only TMR i had was DW. Ive been blessed with over 5+ Zidanes to the point i just started fusing them together now tho.
Leonardo Garcia my only complain is that they are doing Gilgamesh trial which was released a couple of days ago (please note the immense sarcasm) not to mention it is really easy if you play it safe, or in other words, if you know when and what to do, matters little if you bring 5*s base units or not, 5*s usually only make the battle go faster or safer, i think most of people know that.

I have to admit when I saw what trial they were doing in my feed. I was like...that must be a 5min video. It's cool that they did this video for new comers. I beat Gilgamesh long ago but I did get some good laughs watching. Good luck in the future trials!
My GF just started getting back on the game, and this video is very relevant for her, as it reflect more or less on her current power level. If it was a video about cutting edge trials such as Aigaion or Malboro, it'd be useless for her. So I'm glad that this video exists as it is.

This was an interesting build. Love seeing these new builds. People finish these bosses as soon as they come out, but its good to see this with newer different characters. Especially for new players.

Where were these people all this time I was playing this game. I can't believe I was missing out on this good video guide. This whole time I was using internet guides when I could have been using these guys right here.
I have loads of respect for your team here - I used Lightning (Farron) & equipped her with Excalibur and Chijiraden and was able to land the Wind/Fire/Light elements with her (Galestrike for the wind element, Fingersnap to Dispel), Setzer (to Double Dice Gilgamesh all night), Wilhelm (the tank - I gave him the Safety Bit), Tilith (MP Battery, buff and healer) & my friend unit was Noctis (revive with Comeback, Thunder Flask, 2nd MP Battery). Like you, I need to do another run for that Trust Moogle. Since I can bring in a 6th unit and I can access my items, I can formulate a plan for it.
Phew! What a nailbiter. This definitely gave me inspiration to try with my current team! It's better than the one you used in the video, let's see if I can make it too. Last times I tried I always got killed at 25%...
Good job, watched from start to finish, lol. Gives me motivation to try it again with a 1000 ATK Orlandu, should be cake!
Hey! I got an idea.
Eve is gonna be really common for a while, I think you should try a challenge and highlight the value and uniqueness of this global exclusive unit!
You could even take Adam along for the run and show folks the unique differences and value of Eve over Adam.
Thanks to this vid I managed to beat him today, after watching it. I didn't have orlandeu tho', I used Luneth instead of him since he is my strogest dps and it worked out. I wasn't careful in the end I just had to kill and didn't beat him with lb haha

When I did it, if I remember well, I used DC Refia, Rain to seal fire/earth/wind, Bartz to seal lightning/water, Ling and a friend Noctis.
Was a hell of a fight ^_^.
I remember there was rumors of using excalipoor in this fight to help but it was really just rumors xD.

The malboro trial is easy i use= attacker=setzer, healer=tilith elemental protection=minfilia tank= veritas of earth mp recover=ace and a friend i use wilhelm and i win in 2 hour

I did Gilgamesh, forgot about the "Defeat with Limit Burst" and used a limit burst to defeat, hit a normal attack after for extra multiplier that did Overkill, gained all other missions but that one. needless to say I was gutted haha
Nier banner was a limited time event with huge fan base & tons of disappointed ffbe players because of the drop rates. Sorry it is hard for me to get excited for this vedio. However, happy for that new players will find this vedio useful to defeat Gilgamesh.

Surprised post Nier event there weren't more Venfeful Wrath on those units. Even with the horrible Moogle drops I managed to get 6 of them.

I watch this video of everything bypassing Light is with Us! (OK he blocks a few standard attacks which any tank can do) And wonder why anyone was ever hyped for WoL.
lordchaos7770 Light is with us! Will only protect your whole party from physical attacks, that doesn't include magical nor hybrid Attacks . Gilgamesh uses hybrid attacks.
Nonetheless, WoL is still one of the best tanks in the game.
TheKillerJok he fails to block nearly any trial attack. I dont see why that makes him good. In practice light is with us blocks little of consequence. Even provoke is better as at least it works on single target hybrid/def ignoring attacks. This is all besides he has the worst aoe block in the game atm
lordchaos7770 you are literally wrong in every aspect. Worse AOE cover? Rasler has a skill for 20% chance to AOE cover with 30% mitigation, now that's one that is worse (not to forget that it's pretty childish to call it "the worst" when there are only 3 AOE tanks worth using atm, one of them having a carbon copy of Light is with us!).
Secondly, AOE cover is still very good against enemies who use AOE physical attacks (like the boss from Nier raid), and he also brings a lot of support with his AOE 45% breaks and Embolden.
lafasience ah childish to have a difference of opinion, the quality of counter arguments. But you are not correct. I did forget rasler and his aoe cover but that makes WoL 3rd out of four cover tanks, so despite you saying im wrong about everything you only provide he is second to last as a defense. This also ignores the statement i made that aoe cover is bad anyway making it worse than all provoke tanks as well. And yes he does break but he cant tank the turn he breaks, breaks rarely work well on tough content and breaks are commonly available at this point. So yes hes good when both his cover and his break works but neither works well on content you really need a tank
Ed. I assume by carbon copy to another tank you mean Charolotte but hers lasts 3 turns to his 1 making it much superior as it doesmt require using every turn to be a tank. I will further add that while rasler has a lower chance to cover he does provide superior tanking stats and curaja to assist with all the damage that bypasses cover anyway
lordchaos7770 Hahaha, bro you have me dying x'D yo, you didn't even understand what I meant with "childish" (but your reaction makes me think I hit something) and... you might want to fact check sometimes.
Light is with us! is a 3 turn AOE cover, no I am not lying to get my point across, it's the exact same as Charlotte's skill (50% chance with 50% mitigation).
AOE cover is great because it doesn't just protect your team from single target (physical) attacks, but from all damage coming from physical attacks, it also has a chance to happen with each hit and when it's triggered it covers for the rest of the turn. On the Nier raid my other units LITERALLY took no damage.
WoL also has a 100% provoke, that's the one that lasts 1 turn. Though you'll probably use Golem's provoke more often which does the job just as well so I don't even fucking know why you're pushing the "provoke" argument here.
By childish I meant the way you called WoL's cover "the worst" when it's literally the same as Charlotte's, which would tie him at second place, and the only difference with Earth Veritas' skill is a 10% chance to happen, so not that much. Also, you might want to reconsider your stance on Rasler, he's really mediocre.

eochi people quit the game when they learn TM, they stary to see the game as PaytoWin and start to abandon the game. I believe this game have 25M downloads, and only have 100,000 active. TM made 99.9% of players quit the game. I played on day 1, I quit the game after learning trust, that was JP server, I waited for this game for 2 years then quit after learning TM, someone have to translate it for us, 3,000 people in chatbox became 15, I decided to return when I hear people say tou don't need TM to win.

Thank you for the video!! I just beat it with your team build advice!! I was having trouble recently. I felt bad spending 100 star quartz for the genji shield (I am trying to save up for the man-eater materia) but it was worth it!!! I thought gilg dispelled himself which is why he was saying gilg wasn't mag broken because at the beginning of gilg's turn he was going to dispel it. My team was sakura, wol, elza, cecil and tilith.
