Archer is an FXX original animated, half-hour comedy. The new season revolves around the international spy turned hardboiled private eye Sterling Archer and his quest to find his partner’s killer in 1947 Los Angeles.
The case proves to be more difficult than expected after Archer quickly gets mixed up in a deadly game of tug of war between Los Angeles' most powerful crime bosses. Every clue leads Archer further away from his goal and deeper into a mystery involving kidnapping, prostitution and drug addiction.
The series features the voices of H. Jon Benjamin as the incredibly vain private investigator, “Sterling Archer;” Jessica Walter as the veteran crime boss and nightclub owner, “Mother;” Aisha Tyler as the sexy lounge singer and Archer's crush, “Lana Kane;” Judy Greer as the clueless heiress to a vast publishing fortune, “Charlotte Vandertunt;” Chris Parnell as a crooked detective hell-bent on seeing Archer dead or in jail, “Detective Lieutenant Figgis;” Amber Nash as Figgis' partner and occasional muscle, “Detective Sergeant Poovey;” Adam Reed as the saucy band leader, “Ray Gillette;” and Lucky Yates as the club's bartender/heroin dealer/Nazi scientist, “Krieger.”

Some how? This should've paralyzed anyone.... the fact Archer didn't.... Just means he is or has to have been the result of some superhuman experimentation to make a supersoldier.... cuz lol broken ribs, broken neck the way his neck whipped around, bruises, both internal and external..., broken nose... black eyes, etc....

That's why, to me, it's gradifying to see Archer get a taste of that in front of Ray.
Even if it didn't Ray would just leave the hospital in a wheelchair and pretend to be paralyzed for weeks anyway.

It's weird how regularly Ray gets paralyzed throughout the series, Yet Archer manages to even survive this 50 feet fall.
It’s because Ray is sober. Archer is always drunk, so he’s benefitting from a degree of rag doll effect.

Seven seasons in and the writing is still gold. I love this show.
And then seasons 8 through 10, Archer goes into a coma and the comedy and rich writing just takes the farthest backseat you can possibly imagine.

@@rebel1717 well i think the main reason behind that was that times changed. The jokes that they made ten years ago are funny, but they could get really offensive. I think the studio mustve stepped in and prevented them from having as much freedom, because people have sticks up their butts these days. I'm just glad it didnt get cancelled, and I have hope that this coming season will be good :)

+Predaking Nothing will kill that guy. He's nearly bled to death on several occasions. He's broken god knows how many bones. He drinks enough alcohol to kill a herd of rhinos. He's been exposed to lethal radiation and he's survived breast cancer. And while suffering from said aforementioned cancer, he mustered enough energy to go on a rampage. The guy is practically an immortal.

I love how they parodied the famous episode in the second season of "The Simpsons", where Homer falls down the canyon and keeps going and going and going. Archer falls more or less the same way as Homer. LOL.

The background music for this season is from the same guy who scores The Venture Bros. It really adds to this scene.
